My wife bought a minivan for our ever-growing family and we love to take it on road trips to visit family in Arizona and New Mexico... The issue was that, because those states are blazing hot during the summer, my kids would end up complaining about how hot the car was even when I was blasting the AC. This year will be different! I say that because I just took my minivan to Custom Concepts of Reno to have the rear windows tinted with a 5% tint and I had an entertainment system installed so the kiddos can watch movies on long drives. I can't wait to take this bad-boy out during summer and listen to the sweet sound of silence :) I don't see any reason why my kids are going to complain when they can watch their favorite movies with a set of head phones that will ensure I don't have to listen to the Spongebob movie while I'm driving. Several months ago I had Rod and his team at Custom Concepts of Reno tint the windows on my car. I waited to review them because I've heard that sometimes the tint will begin to peel or bubble over time, so I wanted to be sure that wasn't going to happen to me, and it didn't! The tint on my windows looks amazing and just like it did the day I picked up my car! I've also noticed that my car is significantly cooler on hot summer days, which is great because I have black leather interior and, before I had my windows tinted. I was always a little scared of sitting on my seats because they would burn the underside of my legs... not pleasant at all. I have since recommended several of my friends to Rod and Custom Concepts of Reno and they have all told me how amazing the service was there. My car stereo sounds great! I shopped out a few car stereo install places in town and had to laugh at a few of them. The guy around the corner had no clue what I was asking for. Lucky enough I found Rod at CCR and he killed it. Custom built 4 12inch subs that sit under each seat in my navigator, and an 8 speaker set down the doors, dash, and back. You can clearly hear my car coming a block away, just how I like it. Rod gave me a great price for the first job and even better price on the second. Please go and check these guys out. Stay away, they sell refurbished navigation units as new, WILL NOT MAKE IT RIGHT, did horrible alarm install, only one door works and nothing else. This business will not be around much longer, losing all employees to other places since they see how the owner treats customers. I will be suing him and already made a police report for fraud. GREAT GUYS!! Just got a brand new Porsche Panamera 4s. I went by Reno Auto Stereo first and was not happy with the customer service! Sean was very pushy, i felt like he was trying to push an upgrade. I went to CCR, after a friend referred me there and they were great! they explained in depth the differences in window film types, and i decided to go with their top-of-the-line lifetime warranty film. If you want to customize your vehiche, here is a must-go place. They are professional and have lits of special products. Customer service is exceptional. Staff explained everything patiently. I ordered a HID ballast here and let them install it with my light bulbs. Yet my bulbs don't work and this wasted them a lot of time, but they didn't charge me full labor rate. Of course things had not been done because of my problematic light bulbs, but to be fair to them, it is my problem. They charged me leniently and I have to thank them. read more

My son just turned 21 and for his birthday I wanted to do something special. He's really into music so after some thought I decided to upgrade the stereo in his car. I worked with Rod to custom design a car audio system for my son's car and had it installed last weekend while he was in Lake Tahoe with some friends. I just had my windows tinted by Rod and his crew and they did a marvelous job. I'm a neat freak and perfectionist so the second I picked up my my car I spent an hour reviewing the tint job and I found no dirt or debris under the tint. In the contract it allows for 20% dirt/debris in the job and when you read something like that you are naturally apprehensive. But, upon reviewing the work completed, you can tell that they take pride in their work. Great job guys! read more

Amazing customer service! Called about 9am on a Today and Rod informed me they were fully booked for the day. I explained I needed my car done today because I am going out of town tomorrow. He was able to fit me in! He even offered to take me to work so I can leave my car to get it done during the day! I shortly dropped it off and came back hours when I was off of work. Rod is a kool dude, he keeps it 100. He offers quality work and prices better than what shops quoted me. He has ceramic and high quality tint. I got ceramic on the front windshield and 5% all around. I couldn't be happier. He worked for my schedule which is the only place you can get work done after 5pm when everyone else closes. I'm seeing him again tomorrow for my tail lights. read more

From seeing all the great yelp reviews I chose this shop and am glad I did. The tint was a phenomenal job! My last car I had I was suckered into a $100 tint job and the tint was nothing like this. They told me that they would have my truck ready in a hour and a half and I told them I was walking around since it wouldn't take them long, mind you it's 90 or hotter out.
