Everything is typically ready "next day" service. I took in a comforter to be cleaned today (on a Thursday) as it needed an extra large washer and delicate settings, and it will be ready for me on Saturday. This place has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced at a cleaners. I called to ask if they do alterations and the girl who answered the phone showed no interest in talking to me. She had me on the phone, yet she was helping a customer she was with. I kept saying hello, and then she screamed, "I am with a customer. You can call back later". She then hung the phone up on me. If you expect to get customers this way, you better think again. The first difference I noticed with Custom Cleaners is that I was offered directly to management for commercial dry cleaning discussion - the clerk put me in touch with Abe, the person who can make it happen, and Abe made it happen. First check: Efficiency. I am the admin for an oil and gas company. Our CEO made the decision to offer company paid dry cleaning for our employees, and tasked me with finding an affordable company that could handle a weeks worth of ensemble from every employee, every week, and have them picked up and delivered. If you know my boss, you know that he has a high standard for work quality, and low tolerance for inefficiency. I called several locations throughout Las Colinas looking for a company that could do a fair price on laundered shirts, dry cleaned pants, and myriad of other office related apparel at times. . I came across people on the phone who didn't have the time to listen to my needs, wouldn't work with me on price based on volume, couldn't deliver at all, or wouldn't deliver to a building... Abe spent time with me on the phone, discussing my company's expectations. I told him I had several more calls to make before I made a decision, which was ultimately just a waste of my time. Their rates are very competitive for what they offer. I called him back the next day, and didn't have to remind him of our previous conversation. He remembered my name, and my company name, and our needs. This told me that Custom Cleaners valued my company's business, and was willing to go the extra mile to attain it. Second check: Valued Customers. Abe has been picking up and delivering our clothing himself, on days that he was willing to work out with us, and any issues that he saw might arise from clothing he has received, he calls me directly, and we find solutions. Clothing always comes back beautifully, expertly prepared, and the plastic collar rings for every shirt are considerate. Third check: Quality If you are a business large or small that needs a dry cleaning service, I personally recommend Custom Cleaners, and I'm obviously not the only one. Abe knows the name of everyone in my company, he knows their individual preferences, and Custom cleaners always delivers to that standard. Fourth check: professionalism. This place was good until I took my nice dresses there. They snagged my sheath dress during the dry cleaning process. I dropped two dresses off for alterations and when I picked them up, one wasn't done right (even though I had already gone through a lengthy but simple explanation of how I wanted it). I brought a shirt to be cleaned that had lost a button and I didn't know about it. I had some drapes shortened & hemmed. They were not done perfectly by any means. 4 panels that did not a end up the same length. Luckily the fabric is stretchy so I was able to make them appear acceptable. Also they are hung in a window seat area so there are pillows that help hide the bottoms a bit. It is nice to have a place close to home that does alterations/sewing so if needed again I might give another chance. read more
