Lucid specifically recommended K & M Collision Repair Center. They picked up my car from South Carolina and transported it to their facility. Tina called or texted me every Tuesday and Thursday with updates. She was extremely professional and reassuring. Unfortunately, she is no longer with the company and Lisa took over (BTW, Lisa was also great to work with). I became frustrated at how long the repairs were taking and decided to visit the shop. It was totally unlike any body shop that I had ever seen. The facility was clean and the staff were all professional. They had A LOT of very high-end vehicles in the shop including Porsches, Mercedes, Lambos, Aston Martins, Rivians, and Porsche race track vehicles. I was totally impressed with shop and personnel. I finally got my car back and it was gorgeous. Even the PPF was replaced and all electrical systems work perfectly (it's an all-electric vehicle). I cannot say enough positives about K & M. I was in an accident and contacted Lockman's based on a referral from another repair place and a insurance company. Because Lockman's has a tow truck, I contacted them before I heard from the insurance company. They were understanding and allowed my car to sit there for two days before the insurance company contacted them. Lockman's warned that repairs could take 10 days, they texted me the progress, returned calls and allowed hubby to stop by. When I picked up my car, the tires were clean, shiny and inside was detailed. Being in an accident is a scary thing, and Lockman's made it a bit easier by communicating with the insurance companies.

August 30, 2024 - Gerber repaired front end damage to my car (Subaru 2020 Forester) - They…read moreprovided a very rapid response to a request for an appointment for an insurance appraisal, they provided me with a very detailed discussion of repairs, they gave an amazingly reasonable estimate, they provided a very rapid response time for repairs (and met their timeline!) and they did all adjustments of computer mechanics for safety features. Very pleasant employees, very easy to navigate their website to monitor progress. I would have preferred more personal communication - phone calls instead of text messages - as when I called the number provided via text, the call rolled over to the national headquarters with al lengthy wait time and they never returned my calls. As a result, I drove over to the Hickory location twice (while I was on hold with the national office) and I never received a response from them to an insurance question until I picked up the repaired car. My dispute (according to them) is with State Farm, and they are probably correct, but it would have nice to have talked with Gerber personally before I picked up the car and was annoyed. That would have taken now customer service call/message. I was also surprised that when I did up the car, they did not walk me through the repairs visually, they just handed me paperwork and the key; so I took my own photos to document repairs. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend them for response time, quality of repairs, and price.
