It shows that everyone there has a ton of pride in the work they do. I kept it local and so glad I did. I highly recommend Lynch Auto Body, not for just the work they do, but also how they treat you. The car was very beat up and it looks like it just came off the lot.

Copy and paste the link to hear your first story. Do you need a reminder of our conversation on 1/6/25, where the story changed? I have that audio. https://www.facebook.com/share/14kzKs9Ew4/?mibextid=wwXIfr I had to have my insurance company follow up with you to see if my car was complete. As you can see from the texts, that was on 1/6/25. I picked up my car on 1/6/25. Your statement about "not releasing" my car due to me not paying is false. I was in an insurance covered rental car. Do you really think they are going to continue to pay for my rental knowing my car is complete? Not once did I deny to pay my bill, which was only my deductible, mind you. You stated you couldn't waive the deductible because that's illegal. I never asked you to waive it. Also, where did you get the information that I had auto body work done and didn't return to that shop? Because that is also false. This is my first claim. I've had the same insurance company since 2012. Should I contact my insurance company and get my claim information/history? And you saying I tried to take advantage of a small business? Far from, again, I chose your business because of the number of years you have been in service. I chose to shop local and support a small business. I will not let you bully me or defame my character because I simply posted my experience with your business. If you don't want a negative review, treat your customers better. As you can also see from attached pics, Tim likes to private message his customers and name call.

Absolute disappointment …read more I trusted this shop based on past experiences because they used to be helpful. We are not just returning customers. We have used them several times over the years and have referred many people to them. I sent my child there for a second opinion after he was sandwiched in an accident, and needed a second opinion because the first shop couldn't find parts. I made an appt last week and explained the situation and that this was a second opinion and we needed also help finding parts. Steve told us to come back today, so we did. My son went in, Steve completely forgot the purpose of the visit, started questioning my son, then my son told me "the manager guy is angry and calling you" I said ok. Steve calls me, I re explain the situation, he says "your son says he doesn't plan to fix the car" (all while having a rude tone with me). I let him know that obviously we will be fixing it-- that's why we are bringing it to the body shop, to which "Steve" replied, "I'm not doing an inspection for free." I calmly asked (in my raspy voice because I'm sick), "How much would you like me to pay for the inspection?" He immediately snapped, "I can sense a tone in your voice so I'm not doing the inspection because of your attitude," and proceeded to yell at me (with my son standing in front of him) so I hung up. I am currently recovering from pneumonia, so no, I don't have a chipper, lady-like voice right now. The fact that he chose to yell at me in front of my child over "tone" is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. To be treated this way as a loyal, repeat customer who has supported and referred business to this shop is beyond disrespectful. It is also worth noting that the only person who replies to negative reviews appears to be the very individual I am describing here, which makes this experience even more concerning. I will not be returning. If you value being spoken to with basic respect, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.. And all the recommendations I made for them with my community, I'm retracting. Never again.

Today's installment of Waunakee Tales of Yelp covers auto body shops…read more After a close encounter with a kamikaze white tail, the ol' family truckster was in serious need of repair. Since this was the first time I needed the services of a body shop, I asked around the neighborhood to get some recommendation on who to use. Everyone I spoke to who had a preference recommended Collision Masters. I met with owner Jeff Swafford, who surveyed the damage and he gave me a three day estimate to complete the repairs. Before I committed, I checked with one other body shop and they gave me a three week estimate to complete the repairs, so it was a no-brainer to go with Collision Masters. The repair process was easy peasy. Since the repair was being covered by my insurance, Jeff handled the all the paperwork for me. The repair work was completed in two and a half days and when I examined the vehicle, I could not tell where the deer hit my vehicle. The interior of the car was spotless, all the broken glass that littered the dash was cleaned up. An auto body shop is a service you never want to use, but if you need one in the Waunakee area, I have no reservations recommending Collision Masters.

They also found some additional needed repairs and took care of working with the insurance without me needing to be involved at all. Unfortunately with the global supply chain issues it took more than two months for the needed parts to arrive. But once they did the repair was very speedy and they set up the rental car and even returned it for me. They sent me texts tracking the progress of the repair. The repair itself was flawless and the car was returned cleaned and washed. I have had to deal with a body shop before and this experience was heads over shoulders better than that one.

It involved a windshield replacement. Within the first couple of weeks of the replacement I noticed the window had something on the lower passenger side. At first I thought it was some kind of adhesive left behind. I contacted Ball immediately when I saw the scratch (within 10 days). I brought the car back so they could look at it right away. There was associate from an another location who looked at the window and agreed it was scratched on the outside. He said they would contact "Glass America" , their glass subcontractor, and arrange for the replacement. Then the hail storm hit Madison and the employee I was working with was on a personal leave. Understandably, I was put on the back burner. This week I went back to Bell so they could inspect the scratch and make arrangements for the replacement. The owners looked at the scratch they said it was no longer under warranty. He said he was unable to verify that the scratch was made during the repair. He then said he suspected it was made after I left...perhaps at a car wash???. He concluded he would not replace with new glass. He also said they no longer work with Glass America. My conclusion: Their first assumption is the customer is dishonest. They do not value customer loyalty and represent integrity. They do not stand by the work when it is subcontracted. Multiple trips, phone calls to the body shop, inspection by other associates and multiple reassurances that it would be replaced. Only to have them decide not to take responsibility for a damaged brand new window they installed! To make it more painful this was NOT an insurance claim. I paid a deposit before the repair and also paid in full $1300 when the work was completed. I held up my end of the deal I wish I could say the same about them. I counted on them to do the right thing which I still believe they can. At this point though based on this disappointing situation I cannot in good conscience recommend them. Find a company which makes the customer experience #1. They had an opportunity to have a loyal customer instead assumed the customer was dishonest and wanted to do something nefarious. I would encourage you to base your decision not what they say but how they actually take care of customers!
