We only came for dinner so I can only comment on that but it was truly an amazing first experience…read moreat the Stephanie. This meal came after a surprise engagement for my girlfriend so I had high hopes and they delivered. We were greeted with a lovely glass of champagne and also received some specialty bon bons to end the meal. Starting with the venue itself, the restaurant is situated on the second floor of the restaurant in a quaint dining room. I was honestly a little surprised as I had assumed the restaurant was bigger but none the less it was a nice space. There's a kitchen near the entrance which is cool to see. The service itself was fantastic. They were welcoming and kind and fast to address any question or request. I also noticed they did a great job pacing as there would be times where other tables finished courses before we did but they still waited on our conversation to then clear and serve us the following dish. Now to the food. It was so delicious. I'll be honest that when I saw the menu in comparison to the prior night I got a little worried as the first two dishes I saw, crab and a mushroom soup were not something I would typically order at a restaurant. That being said...they were both incredible. The flavors and care that went into each dish was incredible. Great restaurants make items you may not typically like taste fantastic and this is a testament to the chef. We were loving all parts of the meal and it was an amazing dinner and evening to share. The bread and butter by itself were so amazing. It was such a lovely evening and thank you for making it so special for us. Would definitely come back if you're celebrating a big milestone!

The Stephanie Inn is a true gem. From the location, to the staff, to the room types and amenities…read more(which are plentiful), the inn is a perfect destination for R&R. We booked our stay just a few days before our arrival and I was lucky enough to secure an oceanfront fire pit room (there are only 4 on the property). As I reviewed the many advertised amenities on the website, I started to anticipate a great stay. On our check-in day my husband and I arrived around 2pm and were immediately greeted by friendly and helpful staff. We decided to wait in the library/lobby area for our room to be ready. The library has incredible views of the ocean and Haystack Rock, comfortable seating and is located just off the lobby where there are refreshments (water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, freshly baked cookies, muffins and scones), as well as books, puzzles and games. When our room was ready we were given welcome drinks (sparkling wine with blueberry purée), helped with our bags and given a tour of the room and the grounds. It was during this tour that we realized that the property and room came with many more amenities than we anticipated! Such as: complimentary car wash, chocolate tasting, shuttle to/from downtown, in room snacks & beverages and a S'more's kit for our fire pit. The room and property provided everything we could want for a relaxing stay. During our two-night stay we enjoyed the cocktail hour which included drinks & appetizers, a good nightcap which included cocktails, nuts & chocolate covered cherries, breakfast in the dining room (buffet style with made to order items), a Ranger chocolate tasting with the chef, dinner in the dining room, listening to the ocean by our fire pit, watching the waves and the bunnies from our patio and yes, we also took advantage of the complimentary car wash (hand washed at that)! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the grounds and room were well maintained and comfortable, the food & drinks were delicious and the amenities were thoughtfully curated and delivered. We wanted for nothing except to stay longer!

Check in experience with Elizabeth was super smooth Scott was there his back up. I was shown a map including a list of places to eat and told about the wonderful DVD selection they have and how to find the menu for it online. I was also offered cookies that were not just for checking in but anytime during this day. I decided I probably want to try each of them just, you know, for research purposes. Happy to find a bag of saltwater taffy in the room and a comfortable table to work or dine at in a sunny nook of the room. The bathroom area is spacious, though the tub was out of commission which also was reflected in the room rate. There was a shower which makes things speedier and some nice bath amenities especially the bath salts. Fireplace in the room with a TV screen that doesn't dominate. Conveniently there was a small kitchenette area with a microwave and Keurig as well as mini fridge. All the things that matter when you're on a quick trip. The grounds are beautifully kept. Maybe because it was a sunny day or maybe just because everything about the area seemed quite well cared for including the rocking bench and the bird feeders where is the nearest feather friends actually feed. The attention to natural details is lovely. One more thing. I thought I had dropped my cars keys accidentally in rhe parking area and Chelsea was very helpful searching for them. Appreciate the thoughtful staff very much.

I contacted the office in advance and asked if they could work with a local florist to have a nice bouquet in the room when we arrived. Throughout our stay, there were rabbits running wild on the grounds. The location is less than half a mile from Haystack rock. The rooms are great with an in room fireplace and a nice little patio. Complementary breakfast in the morning and these folks are great to work with. A great overall experience and well worth it.

We needed our room sooner and it should've been ready by 4pm however they had it ready by 2pm- which was a big help since I had online class. The front desk has salt water taffy as complimentary and then later on they had fresh baked cookies. Staff are pleasant as well and were able to answer questions we had. We utilized the free bikes which was great. They're free & you just fill out the form and you're on your way. Our room was nice. A few small things: the bottom boards by the deck door had would looked like probably wet mud or dirt there from whenever, there was some food like splatter on the table that has the phone but overall it was nice! I would definitely stay again as it was a clean hotel and it wasn't a ton of traffic. Bonus was parking. The hotel is central to everything so it's walking distance to the stores and the beach. I didn't have breakfast but my partner did and he enjoyed it. The lobby is pretty spacious, has a couch section, then a chair section and then a couple stand tables. Lots of room! There are games, and they have snacks available as well for purchase!

There was even a discounted rate if you booked direct, which is the only way to go, IMO. First time patrons to this home away from home. We initially had to check in at the Inn at Cannon Beach about a mile down Hemlock Street where we were warmly greeted and given details about our stay, the surrounding area, and freshly baked cookies! The one bedroom Suites come with a designated parking spot, which is wonderful, but the spots are on the smaller side, so a sedan or compact car would be ideal. We had a comfortable stay, cozy linens and soft towels. Great water pressure in the walk-in shower. The oscillating pedestal fan in the bedroom was greatly appreciated, especially since A/C is not available. The kitchenette was stocked with the usual desirable appliances and utensils. The overall space was clean and the furniture well placed. Artwork of Oregon Lighthouses were on display throughout the Suite and fitting for their namesake, paying tribute to the state's history and acknowledging other coastal towns! The location of this small upscale Inn is very desirable even though it does not have an ocean view. Many great restaurants are within walking distance or no more than a mile away. Shopping for pleasure or essentials is also very convenient. We enjoyed taking a leisurely stroll to the beach and relishing in the sight of Haystack Rock! I have always used the same card to reserve my room, and for some reason the desk employee decided it was a good idea to run my card through again and again for a total of SIX times, only to have my bank tag it for fraud. This resulted in me having to call my bank several times, who eventually called Visa, both saying there wasn't a problem with my card or credit limit. The entire time the employee kept stating how he has been doing this for 30 years so it couldn't have been his fault. Not only would he not take responsibility for his recklessness, but he implied this was my fault somehow. This took hours to resolve, back and forth between the bank and the hotel, and I finally, reluctantly, used a different card. It's unnerving to have your credit card tagged for fraud because a desk clerk screwed up. I emailed Frank Hotels after this happened with no reply. Apparently, they don't care if they have an unhappy customer and a rude employee. Normally when there is something brought to management's attention you get a response, not so with this company. Hopefully others will not have the same problem, and as a side note, there are other Frank Hotels along the coast ... so beware.

It really isn't much, but it definitely does. Save the parents mental state to be able to not drive there and back in the same day. We wanted to make sure that they had a pool and a hot tub for the kids to swim in and also it's a huge benefit to have a decent breakfast because it is a pretty good time energy and money saver having that attribute readily available. Also, the fireplace is a huge plus. Rooms were clean beds were comfortable. I really don't know how they keep the rooms clean. I'm sure they must vacuum out 1000 pounds of sand each week. But they somehow do it and everything looked and smelled and felt nice. They really did have a good hot breakfast multiple kinds of meats eggs potatoes fuck different kinds of bread fresh made pancake machine, which made pretty dang good pancakes. I will admit. Lots of different drink options use Portland coffee roasters so that's a big plus they also have coffee and hot cookies in the evening in the office Lastly, it's right there on the beach. I mean you literally walk 15 feet the sand from your room door and you're able to do bonfires. They also have very affordable wood there. If you wanna grab a quick little bundle and have a bonfire, they even have some small kits, but we can prepare prepared. Absolutely a great place especially for the price. I mean it's winner rates at this point but still a stellar place to hang your hat for a night.

When we showed up the Desk clerk said that they were sold out and it was because of an Elks convention. Big Doug and found one room that was not taken, but it was not ADA compliant. At this point we had no choice but to take it because we were already there and it was too late to book elsewhere. I had a hard time with this room because it had a step over tub to take a shower, a toilet that was mounted low on the floor that was hard to get up from and the pressure of the shower was a fire hose and was not adjustable. The sinks outside the bathroom to wash your hands. The water got so hot. It burned my hands. I have neuropathy in my hands so for that to happen, it had to be incredibly hot. The microwave door was broken. We put something in it and could not open the door back up. They said maintenance to our room, which I have to say arrived quickly, but he forced the door open and said it had a child block on it. When he left, we tried to open it, and it wouldn't open i again. So are cup of water we were heating stayed with the room. This room was also above the pool. Between the party and the kids screaming in the pool till late at night we could not have our slider door open. It was way too loud. They booked the Elks convention in the two rooms next to us. They were screaming and hollering and partying till 1230 at night finally by 1 AM. People left and we could try to get some sleep. We complained about the noise in the front desk clerk, her name was Jennifer and was a delight, so she found an additional room that we could use because the one that we were in was already booked to somebody else the next day. We moved one floor up, but it was directly above the party. Still noisy, still fleet and was not appreciated one bit. The next day we checked out. I will not stay here again. If Jennifer hadn't been so helpful, we would've demanded our money back. So kudos to her and i to Ebb Tide!
