A little off the beaten path, but worth the detour!…read more We missed breakfast and the Bloody Mary bar, but were pleasantly surprised by the rest of the menu. We sat at the bar and had great service. Several tables are available, but all orders were placed at the bar. Overall the atmosphere was very clean and well decorated. You could call it a clean towny bar. Drinks were good, Bloody Mary was pretty standard (would have been better if we made it before the Bloody Mary bar closed). Several beers on tap, and a good variety of liquors. We shared the loaded tater tots, the fried onions stole the show. The portion was large, so we need a carry out container. Then split the wings, price was very reasonable. Wings were crispy and delicious, then came with a "bucket of sauces" - see picture. It was fun to mix and match. Several others around us got burgers, steak sandwiches, etc. Excited to go back to try more menu items, especially breakfast!

A customer asked how they were made. Barb said they take Square shrimp and cut off all the edges making them round. The custom asked, "What do you do with the leftover pieces of shrimp?" Barb, replied, "We make soup!" We realized we were duped! Lol! Steak dinners are delicious!

When we first walked into the Supper Club, we got dirty looks as if we were "outsiders." We'd never…read morebeen there before, so we had no clue how the place worked. Not a single bartender explained the process--we actually had to go up to one ourselves just to figure out that we needed to put our names on the waitlist. We were told it would be a 45-minute wait. Knowing that, we decided to drive around Poygan and look at houses. When we came back 45 minutes later, once again, not a single person acknowledged or helped us. We ended up sitting at a table, where we were ignored for another 10+ minutes. We finally stopped one of the waiters, who told us, "The people at the bar will call your name when your table is ready." No drinks, no food--just shitty service and being treated like garbage. Don't go here. I would legitimately give this place 0 stars if I could.

I thought it was a little fishy and could have used more seasoning, but it was perfect for him. I had the haddock sandwich, and it was delicious, exactly what a fish sandwich should be. We also loved Wendt's house tartar sauce, and that it's served in squeeze tubes, but the real star of our meal was the cheesy seafood chowder. Good grief, it was outstanding. After more than 60 years, it's easy to see why Wendt's is still going strong. They take pride in what they do, and it shows.
