The original bar is in the old darker section - more traditional for a supper club.. We stopped there for some old fashions before dinner - they were solid. Service was very good. We ordered our meals after some tough decision making after snacking on their very tasty warm rolls. I tried their special of crabbed stuff shrimp. Five large shrimp that were very good with a baked potato on the side. My wife got the encrusted salmon and was surprised that it was encrusted in a bread crumb cheese mixture. She really enjoyed it. Our friends got the chicken with pasta and the walleye - two thumbs up. We decided to try their ice cream drinks for dessert. One pink squirrel and one brandy Alexander. Both were good but we have had better and bigger versions at other supper clubs. Prices were typical for a supper club - not cheap.

We arrived about 15 minutes early for our 7:45pm reservation on a Saturday and sat at the bar for a drink. I opted for a morning glow and an espresso martini. Both were decent, I would probably explore another option next time. Seating took a little longer than we thought, seated around 8pm. I'll be honest, at first our sever seemed like a jerk, but quickly turned it around. We started with the cheesecurds, we ate every single one of them. The salads that come with dinner were the perfect size and the bread was a nice touch. We went with a couple of different steaks and they were some of the best cuts we have ever had. As avid 801 Chop in Minneapolis this place blew them out of the water. Second best thing were the mashed potatoes- holy crap, so good! The hash browns were okay but I would have been sad if that was my only option. We were stuffed but the flourless chocolate cake was calling our names. I'm SO glad we pushed through and ordered it, it was a 12/10! Order this, even if you're full and thank me later! Check this place out, you wont be sorry!

I ordered the 6 oz filet (medium) which was charred on the outside and melted in my mouth. My husband had the boneless ribeye - very little fat and one of his top 5 all time best steaks. I had the spicy margarita which was so good. They had a lot of dessert options but we didn't order any. The place was dimly lit so it was a very romantic date night. The reason for my 4/5 stars is that a margarita in a small bar glass should not be $15. Our total bill for 2 lobster bisques, 1 6 oz filet, 1 16 oz ribeye, a beer, and a margarita was $172. I feel like we ordered should not have been that expensive, but I guess it because of the dells.

We checked and put our name on the list about 3:30pm and were told that it would be about a 4 hour wait, but there were grounds and 4 different bars to grab drinks and appetizers at. We made our way to the Tomahawk Bar first, where we ordered a round of Old Fashioneds and a couple apps to help hold us over. The drinks were ready quick and the appetizers took about 20 minutes to come out. We managed to find a table just outside of the bar area and listen to the live music. While we waited we tried out the other bars and continued to be in awe of the amount of people who had the same idea as us! About three and a half hours later, our table was finally ready and we were seated. We ordered some French onion soup, perfectly cooked steaks, and a few desserts, making the long wait absolutely worth it! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. As we were walking out, we noticed the crowd had significantly reduced. If you showed up later in the evening, your wait time would probably be closer to thirty minutes. Once they got things moving, tables were turning over pretty quickly. Definitely a "must-do" at least once. I'm not sure I could handle that kind of wait often, but honestly, part of the experience was the wait, chatting, laughing, and bonding with others in the same situation. Everyone was in good spirits, and there were cheers all around when tables were finally called!

Started out great while waiting for our table (had reservations, but came a bit early). The drinks at the bar were outstanding. Blueberry mojito and espresso martini were some of the best I've had. We were excited about the unlimited soup and salad bar (included with steak dinners), as we don't see this offered much anymore. However, the soups were very bland (potato and beef vegetable) and watery. Salad was good with lots of choices, but wasn't being refilled as things were emptied. We both had filet for dinner. Meat was tough and lacking flavor. My baked potato was probably the smallest I've seen at a steakhouse. I think our server was new, but definitely not great.

The steakhouse is tucked away at the end of a gravel road and quite small/quaint. It was dark when we arrived so we did not get a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery I read about. The service was good and they were attentive. The food on the other hand was a little disappointing. The soups at the salad bar were mainly broth and not very flavorful other than one was overwhelming peppered. The rest of the salad bar was fresh and had many options to choose from. We ordered stuffed mushrooms for the table. My friends enjoyed them. For me, they were a little in the blank side and too cream cheesy. My steak was a tad overcooked for medium rare. It lacked flavor despite the garlic butter and mushrooms. The mashed potatoes were heavily peppered as well. I found that my leftovers tasted much better than the night of the meal.
