Everything. Not what I was expecting for a steakhouse. The steak was maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10. Service was better than the food.

Decided to check this place out based on the good reviews. When we walked in we didn't get a very friendly greeting and the vibe seemed a little off. Not sure what the issue was. We said hi first and he said hi back but nothing else, just awkward silence. I guess I am used to the host asking how many people or where I would like to sit. Since he just stared at us, I suggested if we should just pick a table. He seemed pretty offended I said that. The waitress we had was very nice. My husband got steak and I got a chicken parm sandwich. The food was good, the bread fell apart for my sandwich. I think it was too soft for the marinara sauce. The man checked on us during the meal and had a different attitude towards us and was friendly. The lady tending the bar was also friendly and nice towards us. read more

Incredible!! If you aren't a regular here...you are missing out! We have been here many times and never had a bad meal. John, the owner, is attentive and usually makes the rounds of the dining room to check on patrons. Not heard of these days. We have brought several guests with us and never had a negative comment, just the opposite, many kudos! WoW. WoW WoW EXCELLENT Steakhouse! Beautiful, Clean, Warm Atmosphere. Valentine's Weekend and my Honey picked us a new place. John, was so cordial and a lot of Fun We were seated near the Fireplace and our Waitress, Gracie was so sweet and helpful. Believe me me and my Hubby our in our 70's. We've been around the Block and PR(Public Relations) says it all in any type of Business. So So Important Menu selections outstanding and prices affordable. Lots of people and thoroughly enjoying. FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I was visiting for a wedding and stopped by. We couldn't have picked a better spot!

When we moved to the WR area in 2021, we were really disappointed with the local restaurant selection. Then, we discovered Savory Steakhouse. The food is excellent -- the quality is much better than the vast majority of other local restaurants, and the menu is also more sophisticated. The service is top-notch, and the prices are incredible. (Seriously, how can they afford to serve such good food at such reasonable prices?) I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! We'd eat here a lot more than we do if it didn't require planning ahead -- just showing up on a weekend, you're unlikely to get a table. But, when we have our $h!t together and think ahead (usually for special occasions), we are always glad we made the reservation. Well worth the trip out to Kellner! read more

We had a thoroughly delightful meal and dining experience. This was our first time back in about 15 years, and we were so glad we went. We'll definitely be back for prime rib (We'll make reservations for that 24 hours ahead of time), and for the ribs on a Thursday. I had the house Cab and it was quite nice, and my husband thought they did an excellent job on his Old Fashion. My porterhouse pork chop was delicious and perfectly fine, and his aged rib eye was the same. We ended the meal with a decadent Death By Chocolate cheesecake. Great place! We went with a group last Friday and everyone was pleased with the food, drinks and fun atmosphere. The owner, John went out out of his way to make our cocktails just right and ensured we had a great time. Our steaks were prepared to perfection, the sides were fresh and tasted great. Some had fish and said it was delicious, hot and nice size servings. Would definitely recommend this place for a fabulous dinner and fun night out. read more

Take out order tonight. They went through the order with me as it was placed and confirmed everything afterwards. Lots of options! Appreciated having to wait for steaks, that tells me they are not prepare and warmed up. Pick up was convenient and fast. Very friendly staff and customers. Confirmed my order when they brought it out and added some extras. The food was fabulous. Best we have had in years. Steak melted in our mouths. Burgers were cooked to order and sauces and other sides were great. Chicken Alfredo was a huge portion, much more than expected for the price, that explains why the menu offers a half portion. Salmon was also cooked and seasoned perfectly. This was a going away meal for our son before he leaves for Europe. This meal really added to the memories. Thanks! read more

Stopped in here on a whim, was looking for a steak house while in the area. Made a reservation for later that day (Saturday) and reserved a Queen portion of the prime rib. Got there early, very friendly bartender served us good drinks while we waited. My friend ordered a 6oz Fillet Mignon after we were seated. The wait for the food wasn't too long and our waitress was very personable. The meals were, incredible. I have had a lot of prime rib in my life, I can say without a doubt this was the *best* prime rib I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, so tender it just melted in my mouth and the flavor was outstanding. My friend couldn't believe how good the fillet was, flavorful and tender as well, said it was one of the best he's ever had. The broccoli was ok, a little undercooked, and the baked potatoes weren't warm enough to melt the butter. But the meats were amazing. Dessert was two pieces of cheesecake, a Key Lime and a plain. They were both delicious with a great texture and delicious crust. Almost as good as the steaks. My only regret is I live a few hours away and don't know when I'll ever make it back. My advice is to cook the veggies a little more and warm up the potatoes. To anyone in the area, this is well worth the visit! read more

First visit tonight! So much to love about this place! Service from the hostess to the bartenders were top notch! While we waited for our table we were served fresh beautiful homemade bread. I loved that the owner of the business was very attentive to each table make sure everyone was happy and taken care of. Dinner was AMAZING! Coming from a small town where it's hard to find a local steakhouse that truly serves a delicious dinner this place is hands down the best! Wow! What a gem of a supper club in Central Wisconsin! Savory Steakhouse is just outside the Rapids and best around---proof you don't have to sacrifice quality or service when not in a major city. We have dined there six times before writing this review and each time dishes were great. Tuna app was superb so we ordered another. Among entrees ordered ---Steak, Chicken Marsala, Salmon, Pork Chop, etc --- all great. One night stopped in late for a cheeseburger (Bourbon Cherry) that was outstanding....husband ordered a salad with blackened chicken that was also tasty. I love the attention to detail whether dinner entree or sandwich. The owner (think his name was John) stopped by table on our first visit to ask how everything was--felt as if we were VIP guests. He continued to be extremely welcoming and gracious on each return visit. We rarely stop for after-dinner drinks, but bar was as warm & friendly as Cheers lol.
