Thought the atmosphere was very nice! Decor was great and overall cost of everything was very reasonable. Katsu curry was excellent however i love lots os add ins for my curry and that's what makes curry expensive. So i had some of my husbands curry and it was good. But I'd rather make my own at home still. The katsu portion was great, that i do not do at home haha. I got the spicy oyakodon and liked it a lot but I think regular would've been more to my liking. I like spice but i felt like it kinda took away from the oyakodon. It's more of a preference. First tried this place at their original location inside the Cheongdam Foodhall. We were back in town, and my BIL mentioned they opened their new location, which happened to be in the same plaza as Sushi Neko (IYKYK). He wanted to try it, so off we went! We came right when they opened for lunch, so there wasn't a wait. The interior has plenty of seating, spacious, and very clean inside. Service was great the day we came. Ordered the Curry Udon, which had good flavor and came out piping hot (be careful!). I've had their Ribeye Steak Curry before, which I prefer much better than the curry udon. I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of their Katsu Curry dishes, especially classics like Tonkotsu (pork) or chicken. Prices are surprisingly reasonable here too! LOL. This place just opened up! I went to the one in Cheongdom Hall and it was good so I was excited to try this one out. Tried the shrimp curry rice and it was so good!! The curry was rich and flavorful, the shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the portion was just right. Simple, comforting, and honestly deserves more recognition!!! read more

This was my first time here, we were greeted by the host and seated right away. The place was empty but I was hopeful as the menu looked good. We started with appetizers some gyoza and karaage chicken. These were good choices, very tasty and very well cooked. In to the main course I got tonkatsu with Kurobuta sausage and cheese. I have to say that cheese was not my favorite. This was like cheese wiz and not the real cheese that other places use. The miso soup was good and the cabbage salad was great with that miso sesame dressing that they give you on the side. My friend got the oyakodon with the same cabbage salad. Everything was cooked perfect and the taste was amazing. This place has good food and a really great menu selection I will return to try other items here! I still am not sure why it was empty as the foods is great here! Maybe just slow day for them.. anyways give this a try and happy eating!!! read more

First time eating at this location. Tucked back in the corner next to Broken Coffee. Service was great- the woman helping us was welcoming and helpful. Loved the minimal decor and how intimate the set up is. Menu offered more than just katsu but not overwhelming. We ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry, Pork Katsu Curry, Ribeye Steak curry and a Katsudon. The prices were definitely great and affordable for the amount of food they serve. Food was exceptionally delicious! Omg. Husband and I compared it to another place we like but this place might surpass that. Curry Ya is located on Spring Mountain and Decatur. You'll find them next to Broken Coffee. Parking is limited in front but there's additional space in the parking garage. Their second location is inviting and spacious, has plenty of seating, and good music playing songs by Boys II Men and Journey. Menu offers a nice selection of appetizers, udon, don bowl, katsu curry, including salmon katsu and surf & turf. Veggie Gyoza ($4.95) is a fantastic appetizer! It's nice and crunchy, has veggie filling of cabbage, carrots, onions, served atop a delicious sweet and tangy sauce, it's really good! Oyakodon ($10.95) is tasty and very filling! It's a big bowl of rice topped with moist and tender chicken, sautéed onions, egg, and pickled ginger, served with hot miso soup, and cabbage salad. I asked RJ for katsu sauce, he also brought curry sauce, and gyoza sauce. The gyoza sauce is yummy, when you add to chicken it's delicious! If you get oyakodon, be sure to request a side of gyoza sauce, it makes the meal taste really good! Service from RJ and Joey is welcoming, courteous, polite, and friendly. It was very tasty and a good portion however for $2 extra we got corn and I think we could have gotten a lil more for that price. Surprisingly quick service on a Saturday. I came here for dinner on a rainy day. I walked in and was surprised at how spacious the restaurant is. It has a very nice minimalistic vibe. We were seated towards the back and given water right away. I ordered the meat lover curry and my son had the tofu curry. Both plates were so savory and delicious! Was craving something like Coco Ichibanya here in Vegas. Curry ya's pork katsu plate was pretty affordable at 12.95 which included shredded cabbage with a sesame dressing and miso soup. Tried the Kara-age and gyoza. Gyozas was not as crispy as I liked but the filling was good. Kara-age was solid. Service was quick and staff were friendly! Restaurant is new and clean. read more

Upon coming into this restaurant, I was shocked on how pretty it is on the inside and the decor. I've been coming to their 1st location and it's my favorite curry in Vegas and the price is unbeatable. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. First time trying this location! It was just as good as their location in cheongdam food hall. This curry ya is also connected to the broken coffee next to it so you can go get a sweet drink after. I got the gyudon and my friend got the tonkatsu udon. My gyudon came with a side of miso soup and cabbage salad. Everything was good and I'd rate my food a 8.5/10. Only downside was that the rice was a tiny bit mushy in some parts. The place is well decorated with table seating and bar seating. Our server was nice and they have an option for self checkout when presented the bill which is convenient. Overall would definitely come back again! read more

I went in for lunch on a Friday and was seated right away. I ordered a classic pork katsu curry with rice and it's served with a sesame salad dressing and miso soup. Everything was delicious but the miso soup could have had more miso paste in it. Will definitely come back again to try the curry udon and the donburi bowls. The ambience of the place was great, they opened last month so everything looks new and I like the Japanese decor. Joey was my waiter and he provided excellent service. Our first time here at this location (Pacific Asian Plaza). We ordered the pork katsu curry, organic chicken katsu curry and chicken karaage. The katsu was crispy and tender, the curry sauce was delicious with different spice levels to choose. Generous portions and price is reasonable. Service was excellent and fast. FYI-there is no hot tea or hot water. However, our server Hissok, provided us with hot water from Broken Coffee next door to the restaurant. She was very accommodating. read more

Food was served pretty quick. Appetizer was gyoza and ot was okay. Curries, Mine was served warm but my husband's was kinda lukewarm. He ordered the ribeye steak, and it was served a little dry. I ordered the meat lovers and it had sausage, spam and your choice of pork or chicken katsu. The sides along with the curry were pretty great, miso soup and a salad that had a very tasty dressing. It was my first time eating at curry ya, and it was so good! I got the gyudon, and for $10 it was so filling. Don't let the picture fool you. The bowl is really deep and filled with just as much meat as there is rice. My partner said the pork katsu was delicious as well. The Veggie Miso was fantastic. They made sure they explained everything to my wife to make sure she had Gluten Free options, he was so helpful and nice and made sure my wife had a wonderful dinner with her gluten intolerance. I ordered the Signature Black Garlic Ramen, and it was incredible. The broth was remarkably flavorful, rich, and had that perfect depth you only get from high quality black garlic oil. Every bite was consistent, and you can tell they put a lot of heart into their craft. Beyond the food, the service was great. The staff was attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for your new favorite spot, this is it. Don't sleep on this place it's easily some of the best ramen I've ever had!
