Curry Kingdom is a true gem in West Hollywood. I've been a repeat guest, and the experience is consistently excellent every time. The staff are more than just employees -- once you get to know them, they truly feel like family. The warmth and hospitality make the experience even better. The food is absolutely outstanding, authentic Indian flavors that you simply can't recreate at home. Every dish is rich, fresh, and full of depth. We arrived not long after they had just opened and were told to sit wherever we wanted. It's a small and cute place with a couple tables outside and a few more inside. We both ordered the lunch special which has a great variety of everything you could want for a great price. The service was amazing, our greeter and server Ali was very funny and very sweet. He gave us a complimentary appetizer before our food came out because the ovens needed some time to warm up to cook our garlic naan and it was delicious as well. My white friend told me to meet here else I wouldn't have known about this place. This whole area is hard to access on its own. Parking can be found in meters (beware of valet meters) or the public city hall parking for $1 per 20 minutes. Hence, I wasn't satisfied with this area enough. The food has options/level of spiciness which is good for people with low spicy tolerance. Though the levels can vary by the dishes. For example, I ordered mixed tandoori, medium spicy, and it feels like a low spicy level. In contrast, the buttered chicken with medium spicy level is rather spicy for me. The staff gave my friend a side dish of yogurt because he was coughing really hard due to how spicy his dish was. I don't remember which level he chose. Overall the service is fantastic. Staff continuously refill water without asking. The only concern is the surrounding parking availability which will hinder people who aren't on the neighborhood in visiting. read more

Excellent food - ordered delivery last night. We had chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, lamb saag , lamb vindaloo and aloo ghobi. We opted for spicy but probably should have gone medium with the tikka & Korma .... All dishes were delicious- portion size is decent, was more than enough for 4 people probably one of the best Indian meals I've had in LA in years. The samosas were a tad dry on the outside but still far superior to other restaurants. Popadoms were crispy and garlic naan also very good. 10/10 yes. Parking is street only but it's worth it. If I was local I'd probably be here once a week. We ordered the chicken samosas, paneer tikka, lamb saag, butter chicken, cheese naan, strawberry lassi. Everything was so good, so authentic and so flavorful. The samosas are a must. Strawberry lassi was not overpowering and such a treat. Service was refreshing. Our server was very attentive and made sure we understood the menu. A West Hollywood Gem! My family and I were in West Hollywood, and we noticed this spot while we were dining nearby the night before. We decided to check it out the next day, and we are so glad we did! While this place might be small and cozy they're serving up some seriously big flavorful dishes. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the flavors popped in every single bite. The Tofu Saag, Vegetable Biryani, Onion Bhaji, and Vegetable Pakora were all absolutely amazing. I came here with a friend the other day, we chose here over the pura vita Italian place across the street. The food was fine. I've had a lot of Indian food, this was average but good. A review for this place to become better - we asked our server to split ONE item for us. We repeated the order to her many times. Double checking she knew how to split the bill. We asked for one item to be split, and she made a mistake, it seems almost on purpose because it's just hard to understand how she did not understand, the only request we had - to split one item. OR, I think maybe. another male coworker came and helped her with our bill. In that case it is his fault; he may have on purpose incorrectly set the bill, or still he made the simple mistake - of not being able to correctly split a single item. I don't put anything past humans anymore. In 2026, it is worth it to me - to call out human error like this. So humans can continue to simply be better. It is concerning; that we were the only customers the entire time, and a simple mistake was still made. A restaurant is not rocket science. I didn't realize and tipped $8 as well - pay attention to your service from start to end, so you tip accordingly and what is deserved. read more

They started us off with papadam and some chutneys which were all tasty. The food was good we both got different curries which we both enjoyed. We live close by and never tried this place for some reason. That's place is FIVE STAR starts with food and end with service and atmosphere. We ordered tomato and cucumber salad, spiced rice, chicken masala and garlic naan. You can taste a freshness of veggies and food that just made as you placed an order. Our server Sayed Rubel is such an amazing host of our dinner. He took time with recommendations, explanations of any ingredients and local spices. He was recommended by a friend and just had to take me as well after his own experience. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely be back! We ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala - both tasted great, though they didn't taste too different from each other. We also ordered the garlic naan with it instead of rice! They tasted so good together! I also enjoyed the chips that they provide and the sauces with them. The service was so wonderful! Our waters were constantly refilled and we were checked up on to see if everything was going well. They were really welcoming and just had a friendly environment. A very small, unassuming, but amazing Indian restaurant almost hidden in plain sight on Santa Monica Ave. Driving by it's hard to notice, but walking down the sidewalk, you're smacked with the tasty scents coming from Curry Kingdom. Service was fast, polite, and attentive. The inside is clean and simple, decorated with a huge mural. It's small inside; there is one big table that can house a decent group and a few small tables, so you can eat here, but most people we saw to-went their orders. I got the butter chicken, my partner got the lamb curry, and we both had an order of garlic naan each. Everything was rich, flavorful, and *very* generously portioned. It's honestly the place that has given me the most naan for a single order, and I used every inch of it to mop up all of the butter chicken. They don't mess around with their spice; my butter chicken was medium spicy, and I was starting to sweat even with that. For reference, to me it's somewhere right above regular Flaming Hot Cheetos. We left almost comatose from all the food and smelling like all sorts of spices. We'll be back soon to happily try everything on the menu. Freshest quality Indian food I've had in LA so far!!! I've been on the hunt for good Indian in LA and just can't seem to win. The 5 stars is based off the LA Indian food scene which is not good! It is a small store front so not suitable for large parties but the food was shockingly good! I was very impressed don't let the size of the restaurant mislead you. The service was also very good. Our food did take a bit longer to come out but I can tell why bc of the freshness. You can tell they are actually making it and it's not ready made curry they are using and changing the contents. Paneer tikka- was so fresh and the paneer was so tender!! And the flavor was well done. I just wish it was half of the size in thickness is my only comment. Saag paneer- I wish I got it spicier bc freshness was 10/10 but the flavor I wish I could taste more of kick and could use some salt just hint more of the spices they usually use. I am def getting take out On my way home now when I crave Indian food. This place gets the job done! Is it the best Indian food I've ever had? No, but it is still pretty good. I love that the spot stays open late and is pretty quick for take out, generally 15-20 minutes when I call in my order. It's also a spot that stays open pretty late, and has some indoor seating (only a few tiny tables) along with outdoor seating. I always enjoy walking by as the Indian spices can be smelled for blocks. I generally order the butter chicken -- no rice or naan to have a pretty paleo/keto-friendly dinner. This was our first time ordering from here and it will be our last. I'm allergic to nuts and we clearly stated that on all the dishes I ordered. AFTER the delivery went out, they noticed that I had written "Nut allergy" on the rice. They called us and said, "We're sorry we didn't notice it said nut allergy until after (?!) the order went out. They're just a few on top, you can pick them off." First of all, how did you prepare our food without looking at our order and I don't understand how you noticed it AFTERWARDS. And my nut allergies don't work like that, once you sprinkle it on a dish, I can't eat it even if you pick it off. I chose this place because one of the reviews said that it was as good as the Indian food in London. I agree, the Indian food in London is the best Indian and Nepalese food I've ever had. I highly recommend their Coconut Chicken Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Aloo Naan, and Peas Pilau Rice. We recently tried the Chicken Saag, Shrimp Karahi, and the appetizer set for two. We weren't huge fans. It lacked some flavor and the lamb and chicken in the appetizer set were dry. This is the only mid tier experience we've had here out of our many times eating dine in & take out, so I will not be removing a star. If you do take out, I recommend asking for extra sauce since the container doesn't contain enough. read more

Oh god no. Why would you put peanut butter in the butter chicken? That was my first thought--and my last--before setting the fork down in quiet disappointment. Butter chicken, that silky, tomato-butter-cream harmony that defines comfort food for so many, had been hijacked by a rogue spoonful of Skippy. It wasn't fusion. It was confusion. I get it--chefs want to be bold, creative, and memorable. But this wasn't innovation. This was sabotage. The peanut butter overpowered every other note the dish was supposed to hit: the aromatic garam masala, the tangy tomato base, the richness of the cream. All of it drowned under a cloying, nutty film that clung to the palate like regret. Now, to be fair, the rest of the meal offered moments of redemption. The garlic naan was crisp on the edges and pillowy in the middle--perfect for scooping up sauces (ideally, ones not laced with Jif). The dal makhani was earthy, slow-cooked, and comforting. The mango lassi was thick, tangy, and mercifully traditional. But when the centerpiece of your meal tastes like someone lost a bet in the kitchen, it's hard to walk away satisfied. So to the chef: please, let's keep the butter in butter chicken--and leave the peanut butter where it belongs: in a sandwich, with jelly, far away from the tandoor. read more

A small hole-in-the-wall Indian restaurant nestled in weho. We were searching for authentic Indian cuisine in the area and was so happy to stumble across Curry Kingdom. Right across from Hamburger Mary's, and hidden between some eccentric looking restaurants, you might miss this fabulous little restaurant. Seats about five small tables inside and two outside, the service has always been friendly, quick, and happy to help! We've also ubereats from here and never been disappointed. The only tricky part is street parking, but I usually go on a Sunday or weekday.
