I work across the street from Arboretum so we have been looking forward to having this restaurant as a lunch option. It did not disappoint! Five of us went there yesterday for lunch and everyone was very pleased with the food. It was excellent tasting menu items with your choice of 1-10 spicy levels. The presentation was classy and the service was excellent. There is no lunch menu so, I believe, the menu is the same for lunch and dinner. All of us (5 adult men) took away carry-out containers with leftovers (i.e., portions are good). I hope that they come up with a 1/2-2/3 lunch portion offered at a lower price. There is no buffet so if you want to try different menu items, you must order them and share the bowls with each other. I'll recommend you try out this restaurant! read more

Spent $70 on dinner and nothing tasted good. Gobi manchurian was too dough-ey! A very thick coating of flour made it taste cake like on the outside. Makhni paneer- paneer was very hard and curry lacked flavor. No makhni taste just tons of heavy whipping cream. Momos which I was so looking fwd to were the worst ever. The chicken inside momo was hard and flavorless. So disappointed. Lots of improvements needed. read more

Absolutely delicious Indian food in a very convenient spot in the arboretum. I ordered the butter chicken at an 8 spice level and the samosas at 7 spice level. Both dishes were phenomenal and I loved the green dipping sauce with the samosas. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large enough to split between two people. Absolutely delicious! My friend and I got the chicken korma, Kadai paneer, samosas, and Kashmiri naan. The only thing my that wasn't excellent was the nann- I've had Kashmiri naan before and it's supposed to have dried fruit and a yummy spice paste.. this was just plain naan that tastes a little sweet. I can't figure out this place. I want to give it 4 stars but not sure yet. The flavor and spices are fantastic. They people and service are great. I've eaten here 4 times and I'd call it iffy so far. The first time the food was perfectly done and I was reminded of the taste of the amazing food I experienced travelling in India and the Nepalese food I had at Himalayan Nepali Cuisine, in Raleigh, NC. In the most recent meal I had (Curry with lamb), the flavors were good but the lamb was TOUGH and disappointing. The garlic naan was like cardboard--flavorful carboard but tough nonetheless. Naan I wouldn't imagine is not a tricky to get right. Though I don't mind, the lowest heat is still pretty spicy so likely challenging for others not used to spicy food. My wife's butter Chicken was excellent. Our two takeout dishes and the naan came in just under $50 and I suspect they are doing the best the can to run a business in what must be a high-rent location and I wish them well. I hope they can standardize, to deliver that same first experience again. read more
