I wish I would've ordered something different than the Jhol Momo - Vegetable (Nepali dumplings in sauce) because they gave me chicken instead. If ordering takeout, that's a dish that you won't be able to check until you're home and cut it open or pop the whole thing in your mouth. And that means if you're a vegetarian, you will be really disappointed because you will either not be able to eat your meal, or you will have to drive out again, meaning that you won't be able to eat with your friends and family by the time you get back. (And if they wait for you, their dishes will be cold.) My friend enjoyed their Aloo Ghobi (potato and cauliflower curry dish). The restaurant smelled fragrant with Indian spices and the staff is immediately inviting and nice! The restaurant appears clean and well-maintained. For those reasons, I'm giving them 2 Stars. However, it is a BIG mistake to switch a vegetarian dish with a meat dish, leaving one person in the group with nothing to eat, so I really cannot justify giving more than that. read more

I think there was a different place here before but that's okay because Krazy Curry is better. My wife is an Indian food fan and of all the Indian we've had in Charlotte - along South Tryon and along South Blvd - we've found her new favorite. We were here between lunch and dinner so the full menu is available except they don't have the naan oven going. Bummer. Two curries, two huge platters of rice and some drinks. We had a lovely meal. Flavorful, spicy without being hot and absolutely delicious. Next time, we'll be back when it's dinner time and we can get naan. Krazy Curry hits the spot when the Indian food cravings strike! On a Saturday evening, we called in our order for pick-up and were told it'd be ready in 25 minutes. We timed our arrival accordingly, but still had to wait a bit for our food to come out. We ordered the lamb roganjosh, matar paneer, and aloo paratha. Although we specified that spice level for both dishes should be mild, the matar paneer was notably spicier (what I would describe as medium). Fortunately, it wasn't too much for us, but the inconsistency was unexpected and could be a negative for those who really can't handle much spice. Regardless of your preferences regarding spicy dishes, I think you could safely dine here without a problem. The menu is robust enough to offer both ample meat choices and vegetarian options. The service was excellent! We were waited on promptly and servers were very attentive throughout the meal. The interior of the restaurant is clean and welll-spaced. The food was pretty good, not the best, but by no means bad in any way. One thing to note is that you're given the option of mild, medium, or hot. I chose medium, and I can stand very hot spicy food.
