Foods can be ordered on a spice scale of 1-10 and we went with six, which was accurately spicy without being over powering. All of the foods were hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The kids enjoyed the chicken momo and basmati rice. The husband and I enjoyed the Tika Masala chicken, palak paneer, Gobi manchurian and garlic Naan. Found this little gem hidden away in a strip mall when I was looking for a place to have lunch. I was pleased to find that they had lunch specials (a rarity at Indian places around here) and ordered Chicken Vindaloo. It was delicious! Big pieces of potato (many local places include just one piece of potato) and nice sauce. Really excellent. Rice was fluffy and fresh. The Onion Naan was great, almost like a Dosa. I was totally thrilled with lunch. They also spiced it nice -- they recommended 7/10 after I told them what I liked, and it was perfect. Decor was nice and service was excellent. Several wait staff were on the floor and working hard. The wait staff are all Indian. I asked the waiter if the restaurant was run by a family and he said no. Negatives were that you don't get free refills of soft drinks, and the lunch portions are small. Probably 1/2 the size of a dinner portion. The price is about 60% of the dinner price so I guess that works out ok. With a lunch portion and naan, I felt filled up. Highly recommended. read more

What do you do when the first Indian Place opens in Wake Forest? You obviously have to try it ! My wife and I went and even though it was open and sit in was available there wasn't really anybody there other than Uber Eats drivers waiting for their orders. I can only blame Covid for the non ideal atmosphere. Therefore we just decided to order take out. Menu was good, lots of options, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. I liked that they offered goat on some dishes which is one of my favorites. We got the shrimp biryani, chicken tikka masala, and one more delicious creamy sauce including goat ( that unfortunately I can't remember). We got naan and roti as well. I have to say that it was very good. We liked all dishes, well prepared and seasoned. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars but that is not possible. I had to take one star because the price of the main entrees seems a bit too high when compared to the amount of food we got. At least it was good that there was plenty of rice so I did not end up hungry ! I will be coming back. read more

I've been quite impressed after dining here several times. The hosts and wait staff were gracious, polite and attentive. Tonight I ordered the Chicken Balti, vegetable pakoras and a Peshawari Naan. The portions were huge and the spices and quality were on point. I asked for a 'medium+ heat' for the chicken and they nailed it! After stuffing myself I still filled 2 takeout boxes that will become the better part of 2 more meals. We dined in tonight and this was our first visit. We started with Gobi Manchurian at a 5 on the spice/heat level. It's was great -highly recommended and the perfect spice level. I ordered chicken tikka masala and my wife had the chicken tikka kebob. We added an order garlic naan. The kebab chicken was cooked well and was moist and flavorful with the accompanied peppers and onions. My tikka masala was also at a 5 on the spice/heat level - just right to provide that slow burn with some nice fluffy basmati rice. The garlic naan was very light, crispy and had really great flavor. we had a great meal with attentive service. It's nice that we no longer have to trek over to Cary or Morrisville for great Indian food and will return. read more
