Everything is clean, relatively organized, and stocked well - a contrast to other long term opened HomeGoods locations. I've never been the biggest fan of TJX Companies' offerings (TJ Maxx, Home Sense, Marshalls, Sierra, HomeGoods), but some of the newer locations have been growing on me. Perhaps it's the newness or maybe they're getting less gaudy/lame junk and more decent offerings. There were more than one item I would've considered purchasing, but I needed to behave since the holidays are approaching and I'm on a budget. I didn't have any interactions with employees - as I usually don't at these stores as rarely anyone will ask if I need any help (not that I mind because I prefer it the other way around) and will go out of their way to evade the customers, so I can't comment that aspect. The cuing area is decent and I saw no lines and more than one cashier. As mentioned, it's in the spot that Staples used to be in - so those who know the area will know where I'm talking about. This new location shares the same space with some businesses, most notably a Pizza & Brew and TJI Fridays. Parking lot can be busy at times, but I've never had an issue finding a spot. There's decent parking on the side of HomeGoods as well. Overall a good entry in an area of good shopping choices and one more store to add to Central Park Avenue's large overall shopping options.

Something funky for your living room? Totally. But if you do eye something, get it quick, otherwise, it'll be gone. Such is the case with an unusual desktop, sterling silver card holder that I wanted to purchase for Mr. Man, but I bypassed it and when I went back, it was gone. Service is nice and Sharon will gladly assist in almost anything that might interest you that day. Prices are clearly, comparable to its own Scarsdale location---lavish. No problem....every so often, The Dark Horse runs a store-wide sale and will not feel that huge dent in your wallet. Though I don't shop here on a regular, items, truly are rare, one-of-a kind. I pick a few funky and worldly, accent pieces to elevate my living room a bit and redecorate my college-age daughter's room, with items that I will not find anywhere else.

I still do not have my chair back. I bought the fabric and they said they were picking my chair in 2 weeks. They took 6 weeks and I had to call and call and call again They told me they were taking 2 weeks to re cover my chair.... they still have my chair. I spoke with Carolyn yesterday afternoon who reassured me they were delivering my chair this afternoon between 5 to 6pm. As you can imagine is 6:40pm and I'm still waiting. At this point I don't know if I am going to see my chair again!

Because I was right next door at Marshalls, and happened to walk past it and see a bunch of home decor, that side eye stayed behind looking at the store. I knew I had to check it out! As soon as you walk in it's like you hear the sound of "aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh" and like like comes shining down at the store and you're just there like: ok I found THE store. From fancy lighting and hanging gorgeous chandeliers to beautiful large rugs perfect for any room. Candles, office decor, kitchen essentials, they have it all! Best part? They have the same competitive prices as Marshalls, TJMaxx and HomeGoods! They're all in the same family so you'll find the same products and more! The store is very well organized, only complaint would be the cashiers are a little slow and line runs sloooooow. Could be a one off day so don't quote me on it. On the website, it says that the sofa is 39' deep. However, the delivery person said it is actually over 40' deep and, therefore, would not ship. I spoke with Catrina and we were told we would be granted a refund to our credit card, minus the cost of shipping. Then, I received an email that I would actually be receiving store credit for the sofa, minus the shipping. because "it is the seller's responsibility to measure correctly." I requested a full refund to my credit card because I should not be penalized when I did measure correctly and nowhere on the website does it say to account for any additional packaging inches added to the depth of the couch. They refused to do this and gave me no response when I asked how I was supposed to accurately measure for a couch when I do not know the actual dimensions. I am disgusted with West Elm and their terrible customer service and website.
