Was promised a new table and 2 chairs would arrive in around 6 weeks.... never came. Now I understand the business was sold to "new ownership", in August. However, phone number, email, and Yelp are all still active and in use. The current contacts at the business chatted with me a bit and provided a number for the old manager. There was some sincerely there but honestly the whole situation is VERY FISHY and understand other people are calling with similar issues and paid for products they never received. If the new folks are truly innocent of the scams that were being run through this place, suggest distancing themselves as much as possible from the poor reputation and shady dealings of this business.

On the website, it says that the sofa is 39' deep. However, the delivery person said it is actually over 40' deep and, therefore, would not ship. I spoke with Catrina and we were told we would be granted a refund to our credit card, minus the cost of shipping. Then, I received an email that I would actually be receiving store credit for the sofa, minus the shipping. because "it is the seller's responsibility to measure correctly." I requested a full refund to my credit card because I should not be penalized when I did measure correctly and nowhere on the website does it say to account for any additional packaging inches added to the depth of the couch. They refused to do this and gave me no response when I asked how I was supposed to accurately measure for a couch when I do not know the actual dimensions. I am disgusted with West Elm and their terrible customer service and website.

Everything is clean, relatively organized, and stocked well - a contrast to other long term opened HomeGoods locations. I've never been the biggest fan of TJX Companies' offerings (TJ Maxx, Home Sense, Marshalls, Sierra, HomeGoods), but some of the newer locations have been growing on me. Perhaps it's the newness or maybe they're getting less gaudy/lame junk and more decent offerings. There were more than one item I would've considered purchasing, but I needed to behave since the holidays are approaching and I'm on a budget. I didn't have any interactions with employees - as I usually don't at these stores as rarely anyone will ask if I need any help (not that I mind because I prefer it the other way around) and will go out of their way to evade the customers, so I can't comment that aspect. The cuing area is decent and I saw no lines and more than one cashier. As mentioned, it's in the spot that Staples used to be in - so those who know the area will know where I'm talking about. This new location shares the same space with some businesses, most notably a Pizza & Brew and TJI Fridays. Parking lot can be busy at times, but I've never had an issue finding a spot. There's decent parking on the side of HomeGoods as well. Overall a good entry in an area of good shopping choices and one more store to add to Central Park Avenue's large overall shopping options.

But there's a difference between ridiculous and affordable. The first of the two, is where Safavieh is at. On Central Ave in Hartsdale, Safavieh has plenty to choose from to decorate your living room, family room and bedroom and they've been doing so for a long time. I recently found a Safavieh brand, small 2x4 rug for my galley kitchen at on online store but tried my luck here and see if they have that style so I can whisk it away. Only available rugs are large Persian area ones with the exception of just 2 small rugs in colors I wasn't going for. I mentioned to the folks here I was in the market for a specific small size and a particular color rug. While the service was professional, I honestly felt that because I didn't drain my bank account with any of their items, tone and body language changed towards the end and were way off. But to their benefit, rugs are quality and these folks have a lot of daring pieces. Even the items that have cracks or marks on them, were outrageously priced.
