Nine years ago, Curley's Home Services installed a Quiet Cool fan in my home and it was a game changer! Cool night air cooling my home to comfortable temps that lasted all day. Amortize what I paid back then over the past 9 years and it was a bargain. After 9 years I finally needed a repair when the switch wore out (fan would turn on and then turn itself off after a few minutes). Curleys came out and replaced the switch in a snap. I highly recommend Curley's. Responsive. Professional. Personable. Expert work. And you get your money's worth. read more

Wow! I am in one of the brand new builds in Rancho Tesoro and my Quiet Cool whole house fan switch randomly stopped working- grrrr... I love a cooled house and if I can do it and spend less energy sign me up! I sent an inquiry to Charles online very late Wednesday night and he was on site first thing Friday morning! The timer installed with the switch needed to be replaced. It was all said and done within 30 minutes! Charles was quick, easy, and incredibly knowledgeable!! If I were installing a new whole-house fan from Quiet Cool I would recommend Charles every day of the week! read more

Great service, removed the old whole house fan and installed a new QuietCool Stealth Pro Whole House Fan. The installation was excellent and our home was left cleaner than when the work started. The QuietCool is hundreds of times more efficient than the old fan. We run the fan one hour in the AM and one hour in the evening. The old fan ran for hours and barely cooled our home. Also, the insulation doors keep the heat in the attic rather than the house. Installation was quick. I'll work with Curley's again. read more

Charles Curley does much more than just whole house fans. We bought a house in Rancho San Pascual and our electrical needed to be completely updated and he was up for the task. He installed four chandeliers, canned lighting throughout the house, bathroom fans, electrical for the garage. He was professional, ethical, and worked hard until the job is done. You will not be sorry hiring this company. read more

This was probably the easiest service company I have dealt with in San Diego for anything. Bought a new house a few months ago and instantly wanted A whole house fan to cut down on the cost of running an AC. They responded almost immediately to my online inquiry for a quote. Came to my house and sized it up real quickly and described my options for the perfect fit. They weren't interested in selling me "too much" fan... They selected the perfect for the size of my house. Super quiet, good warrantee, easy to operate. It'll move my 2000 square-foot house down at least two or 3° within the first hour of it running. Their install was clean, quiet and efficient. As you shop around, you will see their prices are about as competitive as they come. I wouldn't go with anybody else. read more

Was very impressed with the services of the Curley's. And I really love my whole house fan (Quiet Cool)! Game-changer! Brings down the inside temps a good 7-8 degrees from when I wake up (my house holds in heat it seems). They are easy to work with- they listen. read more

SDGE has the highest rates for electricity https://www.kusi.com/sdges-soaring-rates-are-the-highest-in-the-country/ Fortunately as a San Diegan, you can install a whole house fan during the summer time and blow out the hot stagnant air inside with the cool air outside as the sun sets. Fantastic ROI and a great increase to the property value. The Curley's were great. Friendly, honest, and professional. They got the job done in about 90 minutes and we got to use the new toy right away. read more

Charles (Father) and Charles (Son) installed a whole house fan in my home. I was very impressed by their professionalism, knowledge, and the quality of the work they performed. They were prompt, courteous, demonstrated the system after the installation and answered all my questions. Charles and his son are top notch. He was a referral for a whole house fan from my neighbor. After some shopping around and talking with Charles, it was clear that he was the one to install a whole house fan at my house. He dropped by the house the same day I called. He was very friendly and gave me great information about the whole house fan. The decision to use Curley's Home Services was a no brainer after that. A couple of days later, Charles and his son installed my whole house fan. They did a great job. It looks very nice and clean. Quality install. A whole house fan makes sense in California with the cooler nights. I run ours all night to pull in cool air to cool the house and attic down overnight. Takes a big load off of the air conditioner...saving money. I have used several different "contractors" for home projects. Some ok, some not so great. Charles and his son are by far the best. They are exactly what you would expect...friendly, no pressure, and quality work at a fair price. read more

Had a house fan installed a few months ago, and finally getting around to writing a review. These guys were originally referred to me from a salesman at CED. They were responsive, on time, professional and obviously experienced with the product. Father and son duo, which is pretty cool as well. Loving the new fan and looking forward to using it more this summer. read more

If I could give the Curley's 10 stars I would. They are a great team to work with. We had them out to install a whole house fan. They answered all our questions and explained how the install would go. They arrived on time, answered more questions and installed our whole house fan with NO MESS!!! We plan to use them again and you should too! read more

Great service. Requested quote through their website on a Thursday night and Curley Sr. called and came out next day. I purchased a QuietCool whole house fan and they installed it first thing Monday in about 90 minutes. Outside temp right now is 97°, inside temp is 80° without turning on a/c. I wish I had done this years ago. read more

We had a whole house fan installed by Curley's Home Services and got top notch service from beginning to end. This father and son business came in and quickly installed our fan and left no trace they had cut holes in our ceiling or wall for the installation. I can't stress how amazing that was, so many other installers have left at least a small mess for us to clean up afterwards. The system works great and we are already enjoying the blast of cool fresh air we get each evening after trapping as much cold air at the start of our day. Our AC usage is way down now. Will be calling these guys again for future services they offer. read more

They installed both a whole House fan as well as attic fan for us. Pricing was much better than another company we got a quote from, and they did first rate work. Our house is now substantially cooler than it was a day ago, and it is very quiet. Highly recommended. read more

I love my new energy efficient home!!! So excited about my new whole house fan & patio cover, and they even helped me replace old windows to keep the cool in and the heat out which are beautiful too!!! The Curley's really know how to install quickly with no mess! Charles helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and just what the house needed. The house fan grate is beautiful but not noticeable (I was worried it would look like a radiator grill, it doesn't!), plus I can even control it from my phone! They were so nice the whole, time I kept asking to add things in, so they even installed bathroom fans and a couple extra switches for me too! I can't believe I didn't do this sooner, I run the house fan right when I egt home adn within about 3 minutes the house is cool andc omfortable. My AC would take at least 15 min and my monthly bill would be crazy right now with how hot it's been. I would definitly reccommend them for an energy consultation and install at least the whole house fan immediately; it's not expensive and you'll save that in summer sdge bill almost instantly! read more

5 STAR GUYS!!! This father son duo is the best you can get! Not only are they kind, friendly and honest, they do fast, quality, CLEAN work! We had them install a whole house fan to help reduce our A/C use and take advantage of the cool morning and evening air to cool our home. I was so impressed by how clean they do things! Not a speck of dust from the cutting and installing! Plus they were in and out in a little over an hour! Their pricing was on point too! I highly recommend Curley's! read more

We needed a new Whole House Fan. I checked out the Quiet Cool site and Curley's was listed as a Platinum dealer. Charles came over and looked at our attic, gave me a fair price, and we elected to go forward. From the start, Charley and his son could not have been nicer and more prepared. My wife was worried about dust from the installation, not a speck was found. The installation was done professionally, the drywall repair was perfect and they even fixed a few things that another contractor had done incorrectly in the attic. It was a pleasure working with them and should we be in need of any of their services, we will not hesitate to use them. read more

I found the Curley's through Yelp and left a message for him. He got back to me with a message right away, and also called, nice touch. I was going to do the whole house fan installation on my own but am soooo glad I decided to call a professional since my install was tougher than I thought it would be. They handled it without any issues and my fan is amazing. I just can't believe the difference! I will be calling back to get a 2nd fan for our addition. read more

I called Charles for a whole house fan Install at the recommendation of my roof maintenance contractor, who has worked with Charles and company multiple times. I was so pleased with Charles' kind manner and technical explanations and considerations when he came to give us a quote and to take a look at our needs. Charles jr. accompanied Charles sr. During the install, and apples don't fall far from trees. Such nice guys. Extremely diligent clean up, very courteous with my house and my family-- honestly could not have asked for more. Highly, highly recommended and I will call them again when I need them. read more

These guys are pros! From quote & consultation to installation, their service was professional and efficient. They explained the installation plan in advance. They gave me options and made sure my input was considered. They cleaned up after the job was done. They explained how to use the new home cooling system. The entire process was smooth and easy. I would definitely recommend them and will call them again for my next project! We also found Curley's through Yelp to replace our old technology noisy whole house fan with a QuietCool whole house fan. Spoke to Charles Sr. on Friday, he came out to give us a quote on Saturday and did the job on Wednesday. This involved removing the old larger fan and dry-walling and painting around the new smaller fan opening. Charles Sr. and Jr. also replaced a switch which the installer of the old fan had used for the fan controls and also provided a new attic access cover which a previous contractor had cracked and not informed us about. They were both courteous, informative and efficient! We are very satisfied with the new fan and their outstanding service. We give them our highest recommendation. read more

We Just used Curley's for a whole house fan. They were fast to respond when I first called. The following week they were here prompt for the install. Charles and son Charles just installed a whole house quiet QuietCool whole house Fan. I am so excited that we can now enjoy the night breezes in our house, finally. They install the fan in an almost 3hours. I can't wait to turn off the air conditioning tonight and sleep with the cool breeze coming into our house instead of just passing us by. For almost 30 years I wanted this fan but glad that it is a quiet fan. They worked very good together, they were great. Save 25 bucks by using my referral on yelp. read more

I had Charles Sr. and and his son Charles Jr. come to my house and install a whole house fan. They were not only early, but they finished the entire job in just over an hour. I wanted to keep a few of my windows open to take advantage of the fan, but was concerned about not having them locked. Charles Jr. said he had something out in the truck that would do the trick. Sure enough he "gave" me a few window locks. This father and son team is ultra friendly and was very careful in all they did. Since this was during the Covid-19 epidemic, they were masked up and wearing gloves. I really appreciated their work and the whole house fan is fantastic! read more

I can't express how happy my wife and myself are with our new QuietCool fans installed by Curley's Home Services. These things have completely changed the cooling in our entire house, lowering our A/C bills substantially while my neighbors run their A/C units. Curley's took the time to analyze the best approach, didn't try to oversell me and made sure I was happy. I highly recommend them. read more

I'm a little late writing this review but it needed to be done. This father and son, dynamic duo installed a whole house fan along w/ an attic fan in our house a few months ago. Things went off without a hitch and they were extremely personable, friendly and really knew their business. I can't recommend them enough. They also offered a good 3rd party recommendation to come in and install some whirly-bird vents in a different part of the house. Everything is working perfectly thus far and now we can't believe that we've waited so long to get this installation done as we don't have AC. Call these guys and get a whole house fan put in, you won't regret it. (with or without AC). Thanks, guys! read more

There's no need to look anywhere else. You've just found the best father/son team around!! Not only are they timely, reliable, reasonable, trustworthy and honest, they are genuinely "good" people! They installed a whole house fan for us 2 weeks ago. We have lived in San Marcos for 19 years with no AC. Yes, you read that correctly. The whole house fan has made a world of difference and we are so grateful to Charles and his son Charles for educating us, giving us options and being open to our view points and opinions. My husband is slightly picky when it comes to anyone working in our house. He was beyond pleased with their work. As I stated first, look no further!! I highly recommend Curley's Home Services! read more

I'm asking myself why we didn't get the whole house fan installed years ago! It really does make a big difference in our house and cools off the house fast in the evening, when it starts getting cooler outside but still hot in our house. They installed a QuietCool whole house fan for us. Fast, clean, courteous and reasonably priced!

Can't believe I waited this long to have a whole house fan installed and you could not ask for a better team to install the system. I did check around but after speaking with Charles SR. numerous times it was a easy choice. Communication was also 5 star. Not only did they do a professional install but Charles JR suggested a easy way to improve our hallway lighting. I went and picked up new set of LED can lights and he installed them for me. Gave us a very though walk thru on how to use the system. I highly recommend these folks and would use them again in a heartbeat! Thanks agin to Curley's Home Services. read more

As a contractor and engineer I know I am a more difficult home improvement customer, so a 5 star review isn't easy to get! I had already signed a contract and had installation dates with another contractor, and through a couple fails on their part I cancelled my contract and called Charles! They were prompt to all appointments and had me tentatively on the schedule quickly, and kept me current on information the whole project through. I was able to get radiant barrier and insulation done for a very reasonable price, and I also added on the Quiet Cool, which all three came in at the same price as the other guys! Charles and Charles showed up day 1 and got to work. They kept me in the loop the whole day as to what to expect, and even let me hem and ha on location of vents etc. They left the house and attic cleaner than when they came in and made the process easy and painless and were able to answer ALL of my questions, which there were plenty of. I have business cards that I hand out to friends, and recommend them regularly. Thank you Charles and Charles! read more
