From start-to-finish, it was a breeze to work with these pros. Sean arrived on time for the initial walkthrough, was courteous and very knowledgeable. Very soon after, the proposal arrived and was reasonably priced. Agreement for services and down payment was also simple and reasonable via their agreement/payment website. Once ordered, the window hardware arrived at Glass Guru, and installation was easily scheduled. For the installation, Miguel arrived on time, and was extraordinarily polite and safety-conscious. He quickly installed the window hangar hardware-sets, fixed an additional issue with one window, and then silicone-sprayed other windows. I'm very pleased with these people; I won't hesitate to call on them again, and I recommend them with gusto for others needing glass and window service!

They came out, provided…read morea quote, I paid the deposit, and they returned to take measurements to place the order. I was told the glass would be installed in about two weeks. After several weeks passed with no update, I followed up and was told they saw the deposit had been refunded and they would look into it. I was then told the job had been cancelled because we "needed new windows, not just new glass"--which is confusing, since they also install new windows. They claimed an email had been sent to either my contractor or me notifying us of the cancellation, but neither of us ever received anything. As a result, I waited weeks under the assumption the order was moving forward and am now starting over with a new company. This experience was a waste of time and very disappointing due to the lack of communication.

    I'm sharing this review to help others make informed decisions…read more Leslie Shower Enclosers installed a frameless glass shower door in my home in 2021. Within 2.5 years, the top hinge began failing, screws were visibly pulling out from the wall plate, and the door started hitting the adjacent glass panel. I reported the issue while the hinge was still under the manufacturer's 3-year warranty. Instead of replacing it, the installer adjusted the glass position and left the clearly failing hinge untouched. A year later, now 7 months past the warranty period, the same issue occurred again. I contacted the installer with updated photos, measurements, and the original quote, which he no longer had on file. He acknowledged the hinge should be replaced but said it would now cost me $150 since the warranty had expired, even though I had reported the problem well before it did. After reviewing the original quote from the manufacturer, I discovered that the hinges installed were not the ones listed in the approved order. They were a different model entirely. This likely explains why he had no record of the order, why the hinge wasn't under warranty, and why it failed prematurely. It also explains why he already had a matching replacement hinge in his possession, as seen in a photo he texted me. When I asked why the hinge hadn't been replaced within the warranty period, his response was: "Frankly, I don't feel the vibe to assist anymore." I replied: "I was simply looking for some clarification before paying for the replacement. I was having trouble understanding your previous message. There was no animosity intended." I received no response. When I followed up again to express my safety concerns and disappointment, I was told: "Bye for good." That was the last communication. I was never rude or confrontational, just a customer trying to get a clearly defective hinge addressed. Now I'm stuck hiring another contractor to replace it, and I'm left feeling taken advantage of. This is a heavy glass panel, if it falls, it could cause serious harm. I truly wanted to support a small business and give the benefit of the doubt, but I would not recommend Steve's business based on my experience.
