Great experience, the room and staff. We did the wizard room and were really impressed with the creativity and production value of the room.

We escaped both our rooms today with no clues and had Christina as our fabulous game master.

We are two for two when it comes to enjoying MindTrap escape rooms!…read more My fiancé, my parents, and I tried out the Excalibur escape at MindTrap's Murrieta location earlier this year, and we really enjoyed it! For that reason, we decided to go with them again the next time we were looking for an escape room for a large group. This time, we selected the 40 Thieves escape at their Temecula location for our group of eight. You can secure the room with two tickets, but we bought six tickets in advance because we knew we would at least have that many. We added the last two right before our start time of 2:30pm day-of. Then we read and signed the waivers on our phones. As before, it was super easy and can be done ahead of time or when you get to the location. Just keep your start time in mind when you're heading over, there may be people waiting to escape after you!! Our group had varying levels of escape room experience, with three people who had never been to one before, three people who had been once previously, and two people who had been to several. We were fortunate enough to have Kadence as our game master, and she was super sweet! Great at her job, and great at making us feel welcome (and not dumb at all lol). We did have to ask for a few hints, and I noticed that we did get a little extra time added on at the end so that we'd be able to finish. Super sweet of her to let us finish!! Kadence told us the 40 Thieves escape is currently MindTrap's most difficult, as it has the most puzzles to solve. They suggest 6 players for this one, but can fit up to 10. I'd say 8 was fun for most of the escape, but the room with the final puzzle definitely had "too many cooks in the kitchen" energy. There was a nice mix of puzzle types so it seemed like everyone had their chance to figure something out. We finished up at the end by taking a group photo with props we liked, thanks to Kadence again for being our photographer! Love this fun keepsake from the experience. My family loves MindTrap and we will continue to book escapes with them until we've done all of them! I'm hoping we can try to do two escapes a year from now on.

Really good room for a larger group (we had 8 ppl) as there's a quite a few things to figure out. Highly recommend and Charlotte was a fantastic game master. They made the experience very smooth, fun and memorable.

I had an amazing first time experience at Escape Room 66 and I cannot wait to come back again soon…read more I forgot our escape room host's name, but her initials started with a K and she was an absolute sweetheart. She didn't rush us out at all (as some escape room places do), she was extremely patient and kind, and she went over all of the clues that we didn't get to solve when our timer ended. My boyfriend and I spontaneously booked "The Doghouse" and I believe I spoke with her on the phone as well before booking and she was just as sweet as she was in person. I absolutely loved the creativity and complexity of the puzzles and the room/props were of high quality (and not old or overused like some places, lol). Her customer service was definitely top notch - my boyfriend definitely made sure to tip her, lol. Will definitely be back again to solve another room soon!!! This room does start you off blind folded and in separate rooms, but you quickly reunite to solve the rest together. Nothing was overwhelming or too difficult in this 8/10 room. They leave you a lot of great clues to keep you on the right path. My group of 4 finished with 13:25 remaining in our hour. I feel we could have done a little better but we never felt rushed. There are a LOT of combo locks! Looking forward to coming back and trying the other rooms!

We haven't done many escape rooms out this way, and decided to come try a room at Over The Moon…read moreEscape Rooms. They are conveniently located only a few minutes off the 91 freeway in Corona. Their space is in the rear of an office complex. You can park close to the entrance if you enter on the east side and drive around to the back. You can also park on the west side of the complex, proceed through the walkway, and turn left. The two gals in our group of four are fans of Phantom of the Opera, so we decided to do that room. We were greeted immediately and put our personal belongings in the lockers they have available. After watching the standard escape room disclaimers and an introduction to the Phantom of the Opera room, we were led into the room. The décor is great and pays strong homage to the movie. The room is lit on the darker side, however there are many candles around that you can pick up and carry around to help illuminate things. The room is mostly linear with a variety of locks, mechanical puzzles, and a few unique puzzles. The first room is on the smaller side and they subsequently get smaller. I would definitely recommend no more than four people for this one. We only needed one hint and escaped with about ten minutes left. One woman initially greeted us and got us started, and apparently another one ended up being our game master. I didn't catch their names but they were both enthusiastic and very friendly. We posed for a picture in the room afterwards, and the pictures were emailed to us a few hours later. Their rooms are priced very attractively at only $42 per person for two people, and the price drops to $35 per person for three or more people. We had a great time and will definitely return to try some of their other rooms.

So much fun! Highly recommend!…read more We had an awesome experience at Red Door Escape Room in Temecula! They have 5 different themed rooms to choose from, and each one is designed really well with immersive puzzles and storylines. The 60-minute rooms are about $38.95 per person (around $40 with taxes/fees), which is totally worth it for the experience. We ended up doing two rooms: Prison Break and Once Upon a Time, and both were amazing! * Prison Break was intense and challenging with a cool storyline about escaping before the guards catch you. * Once Upon a Time had a magical fantasy theme where you search for powerful stolen items in a castle. The puzzles were creative, the rooms were immersive, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It's such a great activity for friends, family, or team building, and it really makes you think and work together. We had such a great time and will definitely be coming back to try the other rooms!
