AMAZING experience! We did confinement, which is their hardest/scariest room, and it blew our expectations out of the water! My biggest grip with escape rooms is when it's all the same sort of puzzles. But with this one? There was such a good mix ranging from riddles, to numbers, and some physical puzzles and everything in between You can also choose to add some jump scares if you would like and I definitely recommend doing it! I'm scared of everything and this escape room was definitely not horror room scary. I promise everyone can do it! So much fun! Highly recommend! We had an awesome experience at Red Door Escape Room in Temecula! They have 5 different themed rooms to choose from, and each one is designed really well with immersive puzzles and storylines. The 60-minute rooms are about $38.95 per person (around $40 with taxes/fees), which is totally worth it for the experience. We ended up doing two rooms: Prison Break and Once Upon a Time, and both were amazing! * Prison Break was intense and challenging with a cool storyline about escaping before the guards catch you. * Once Upon a Time had a magical fantasy theme where you search for powerful stolen items in a castle. The puzzles were creative, the rooms were immersive, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. It's such a great activity for friends, family, or team building, and it really makes you think and work together. Red Door Escape Room is located in the outdoor plaza area of the Promenade Temecula shopping center. Don't make the mistake of looking for them inside the mall. There is a three-story parking garage right around the corner from their location. Once your book your game, you can sign the waivers online in advance to save time when you arrive. True to their name, to get to the entrance of your escape room, your game master will first lead you through a tall red door with trees on it which is framed by a golden arch. It is a great way to immerse you a bit before you even get into your room. There are lockers inside to store your belongings. We did the Fair Game room which has a carnival type theme. The room has a few combo and key locks, but many of the puzzles are physical or mechanical carnival style games, which was different and cool compared to the average escape room. The room was a mix of linear and non-linear. Even with only two of us, we split up at times to work on different puzzles. This room requires more teamwork than most that we have done before. Help is requested by pushing a red button by the entry door, and hints are then given via text on a TV screen. I had read on Morty that one of the puzzles in this room gets stuck periodically, and indeed it happened to us also. However, our game master came in quickly to resolve the issue and gave us extra time to make up for the mishap. There was one other puzzle that also needed some coercing. Overall, the room was really fun, and definitely a challenge. Our game master Miguel was excellent. He was fun and enthusiastic as soon as we met him, and he was very timely with hints when we asked for help. We were so close to finishing the room when the clock was about to run out, he gave us a few extra minutes to secure victory. Thanks Miguel! Their prices are very reasonable at $39 per person, no matter how many people are in your group. Most places charge extra if you only have two people doing the room. They also have a 20% discount if you play another room the same day, or book a future date after finishing your room. They have a total of six rooms at this location with a good variety of themes. They also have other Red Door locations in California and other states. We will definitely try more rooms here when in the area. read more

I had a great time at the escape room and really enjoyed the experience. The total cost for two people was about $86, including a $7 protection plan fee in case we needed to reschedule. The facility was clean, welcoming, and had a friendly atmosphere. Our game master, Michelle, was very sweet and made the experience even more exciting with her enthusiasm. I look forward to coming back and meeting her again in the future. My only critique would be that the lockers to put your items felt a little loose after being locked but that seems to be a maintenance issue. read more

Came here to celebrate my birthday on 1/28. My boyfriend and I booked the day of with no issues , once we got there we were welcomed by a young guy behind the counter , he was super friendly and attentive. Our game master was Michelle , she was amazing . She had a ton of knowledge and was super stoked. Her energy was super high and we absolutely loved it. We did Fair Game, while we were meet with some difficulties, Michelle was able to give us hints without giving too much away but they were very clear . They also put in a birthday card for me in one of the rooms , that was super sweet of them. We will definitely come back, and I absolutely recommend getting Michelle !. read more

Have done 2 escape rooms here and many in other places. First was good. Second they were busy and late by over 15 minutes for our scheduled time. When we finally need some, they were delayed in getting us hints and gave us ones we were already past, which actually slowed us down. We had party of 7 playing the Fair game rooms. Parked in the parking garage nearby. Rowan was our game master. He did a good job explaining before we watched a short video. Rowan monitored the rooms giving clues which we pushed a button inside the room to request . Last room had fairly dim lighting which made it difficult to see the letters on the combination locks. Rowan said that we could have requested a flashlight before hand. Either that or use your cell phone flashlight. We had fun. The group escaped with 5 minutes to spare. read more

My fiancé and I tried out Red Door Escape Room yesterday and we had a lot of fun! We've done quite a bit of escape rooms, to give you an idea of level of experience. We did the Prison Break room. There were a couple technical errors, which is prompting the 4/5 star review, but they're still in their soft opening stage. Our game master was informative and helpful, giving us a bit of additional time on the clock when we encountered these technical errors. The puzzles were really cool though, and we did make it out. The Red Door Escape room is a wonderful atmosphere and we'll kept facility. I did the confinement escape room. The puzzle was fun, but our guide Rowan did a poor job throughout my experience. My group was told that each clue button is right by the door of each room, but there was only 1 total, which was very misleading. We kept hitting g the button in the third room for 8 minutes before we were told to go back to the original. Plus, when we were in need of a clue, there was a significantly delay from pressing the button, until the clue actually appeared on the screen. In previous experiences at other escape rooms, it populated in about 5 seconds. Rowan delayed it about 30 seconds. Throughout 60 minutes, this significantly cuts time. Overall, the facility was nice, but the poor guide put a huge damper on my time completing the escape room. read more

Me and my family went out and did two of the rooms at Red Door Escape Room this weekend, and to say it was an enjoyable experience is an understatement. The rooms themselves were designed extremely well, with unique puzzles that even caused us Escape Room "veterans" to be a bit stumped at times. But the main draw of the place is the incredible staff. Our game hosts Nathan(Cian's protege) and Cian(Nathan's Idol) were super funny and kind, even conversing with me and my sister like any other people, despite our youth. We really appreciated you guys so much, and I'm just trolling Nathan, or did Cian tell us to say that?? who knows? Me and my husband went here for our early Valentine's Day date night. We went around 11pm and did the Confinement room. It's their hardest one and going late made it so much better. They give you the option to add jump scares which involve loud noises and things to make the experience more fun. I booked this venue for a company bonding event and will never do so again. We booked two rooms for approximately 11 people and three of us were unable to show up. We still split the remaining group into two rooms and there were no issues. After we left, one of the staff members calls and states that they were missing a ball from the carnival room we played and claimed we took it and that they were going to charge us $25. We told them over and over that none of us took a ball from the room. And why would we? What would we even use it for? I told them to review their camera footage and get back to me because we refused to pay for something we did not take. Eventually they called back and told us they had found the ball. It was really rude and really unprofessional of them to accuse us like this. The staff also told us we could use the three credits at a future visit since we still played both rooms and that we would just have to call into let them know it was under my coworkers personal account. They also stated they were going to leave a note in the account that I could use the credits since it was under my coworkers account and her name and to just provide my name and there would be no issues. Later down the line I try to book a large group for a room for my birthday and the manager Lucas tells us that I'm unable to use the credits and he won't honor this because the previous worker "misspoke." The staff at this location are providing customers with false information and not properly trained. They were also trying to charge us for something that we did not take. If only their staff tried a little harder they wouldn't have accused us and made us feel bad about the missing ball. We will never book this place again and it's disappointing how unprofessional the past and current experience is. read more

We did the carnival game. Our group had such a blast . The info is on a screen types up for hints if you get stuck. We did get some stuff put in wrong places that they had to come help wish for that they stopped the clock but the staff were friendly. Also the rooms were very hands on cause and effect.
