She appeared to be in a bad mood with both patients and her staff, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been even more frustrating. I have been in significant pain for about a week and have repeatedly called the office asking for my medication and help with my situation. Despite explaining that I am in pain, I have not received the support or timely response I expected. As a patient, I believe you deserve a doctor who listens, communicates, and genuinely cares about your well-being--not someone who makes you feel like your concerns are unimportant. I called around 7:30pm on 1/13 to check to make sure they were open and also to make sure they accepted my insurance. Both answers were yes so I made my way there. I filled out some quick paperwork, showed my insurance card and ID to the super helpful gentleman at the front desk. I was seen right away. Dr. Garcia was flat out amazing. I don't think I've ever met a more friendly, helpful and thorough physician. She was very knowledgeable and was able to determine my issue and come up with a medical plan extremely fast. Now that she is gone the office manager Helen is not only rude but doesn't follow up with patient care. Took me going to office to adress 3 unanswered emails regarding my mother car only to have her tell me, "oh yeah I saw your email today. We have turn over.Sorry about that." Then I ask her what the office policy is for responding to patients. - she says "I told you 5 business days." So why are the emails not answered the after two weeks plus?? We came today to pick up letter we requested via email 3 weeks ago only to have us wait 30 minutes + because the letter was not signed by doctor yet. Helen told us to come at 9am to pick up and it would ready. It's 11:00 am! No respect for her word or our time.
