This is my go to spot when I'm in Ogden. It has an amazing drink menu and delicious vegan food. I've ordered many different items and always been very satisfied. My favorite item is the jackfruit street tacos with a green smoothie. The atmosphere inside is cozy and welcoming. Plus the have a great outdoor patio if you want to be outside. CALLING ALL VEGANS! This place is no joke. I had heard about Cuppa from a few vegan family members and they had constantly raved about it so my expectations were high. And let me tell you, those expectations were absolutely met. To start, the ambiance and decor of the whole place is unbelievably cute. I couldn't stop talking about freaking cute it was. I loved the upstairs loft area that we ate in. 10/10 on the look of literally everything. Next, the customer service was amazing! The girls working the counter were so sweet and helpful. They answered all the questions we had and were awesome! Last but not least, THE FOOD. You guys, it is good. Like, really good. My fiancé ordered the Guac Burger and absolutely loved it. He is kind of picky when it comes to vegan burgers but he couldn't stop telling me how good it was throughout the meal. I ordered the TBLT and it was perfect. The bread was delicious. The tempeh bacon was so tasty and tasted just like bacon. All of the flavors were so good together and it was a super fresh, flavorful sandwich. Both meals came with a choice of side salad or chips. We both got the side salad and it was very good! The dressing was so surprisingly delicious. I didn't expect much because most vegan dressing kind of sucks. But this was full of flavor! We also ordered a small nachos to share. It was definitely small, so note that. Not enough for a full meal for someone but was a good little appetizer. I'll say, I thought I had already had the best vegan nachos in SLC but MAN, these nachos knocked those ones out of the park. They nailed it on the flavor. They were to die for. Easy ordering and great lunch options to go! I ordered a Buddha Bowl and an iced almond milk latte online for pickup at Cuppa. I expected to wait about 30 minutes, since it was lunch time, and I was happily surprised when I received an email that my order was ready just 15 minutes after I ordered. I paid online and picked up right at the counter - easily social distanced from the barista. My latte was crisp and refreshing; next time I'll add one of their many flavored syrups. The Buddha Bowl and Guac Burger are delicious! - So much so that my husband ordered a second guac burger to go right after eating one while at Cuppa! A cozy, bright vegan cafe that has plenty of space to hang out. The decor is something akin to cafes in LA so when you walk in you don't feel like your in Ogden. I opted for the blossoming tea (3.95) and hummus avocado tartine (6.95). It's probably one of the healthiest breakfasts I've had in a long time. The blossoming tea is beautiful and has a light green tea flavor. The tartine was slathered in hummus, nutritional yeast, avocado, and sprouts. Served with a salad and house vinaigrette. Flavor wise I'd give it a 4/10 I had to add salt and some generous amounts of habanero sauce to bring out the flavors. The price is a little steep for tea and toast. But I'll give them another shot. I've been eyeing this place for awhile because of the positive reviews on Yelp. My wife and I had a night to ourselves so she recommened this place based off reviews from her colleagues. We got there around 6pm and no one was in line, which was nice because we looked over the menu for a bit to try and figure out what to order. The place has plenty of space to eat and there are games to play while eating. We decided to play a quick game of Scrabble, which was fun. I'm not a vegetarian and neither is she but if I had to eat food like this everyday, I would die a happy man. I was impressed with the food quality and the freshness of the food. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying other foods. My wife ordered the tacos and I ordered a rice bowl (I think). Both were very good and flavorful. The street tacos were so good. My family returned to visit Ogden together for the first time since our parents left in 2001. We were thrilled to find Cuppa to accommodate our vegan brother! Sarah was so helpful and hit it out of the park with her carrot cake for our birthday celebration in the old neighborhood! The layered cake weighed (I kid you not) at least 10 lbs and the frosting was so rich, our guests didn't believe it was vegan. Personally, I have visited a lot. I have some loves and hate to this place. First and foremost, this is not an accessible location in the sense of disabilities. If you have to use the bathroom or sit upstairs(the majority of the seating is upstairs) you have to go up them. There is no elevator, no lift. I have an invisible illness and need intermittent mobility aids and this location makes it hard to visit for this reason. The front has a little dip as well and the parking options especially for those handicap spots, are very minimal. My next caveat is for a buisiness that markets as a lot of in house made items they act very lost when you ask about ingredients or allergens. They have also changed the menu a lot and this may not reflect well on the menu, so what you get may be different. The burgers have been different a few times. I have a pea allergy, I can't chance some random burger with shrugged shoulders. Some items like the chia pudding have also varied on toppings. I think wording on the menu could help. Once it had "apples" but they were stewed which is fine but sometimes this also has things I can't eat so I was worried when I saw that one day on top when it hasn't been usually. The place is always very clean. Again I love the chia pudding, I crave it often. I prefer it plain. I've had quite a few things and it's all been decent but it's just too big of a dice roll for me with accessibility and what could be dangerous for many with lack of ingredient knowledge. Room for improvement, I'd be back if these super important issues were addressed! read more

I am so grateful for Cuppa! It's a wonderful place with spectacular food, coffee and tea. I myself am not vegan, but I love their all day scramble, (I add Jack Fruit to it which is amazing!) The space and views are amazing with light pouring into south facing wall of windows making it ideal for students who want a great place to study. They have a well maintained dog run in the front area too, so it's pooch friendly. Also, as a business person myself, I greatly appreciate good management when I see it. Everyone inside the cafe kept pulling their mask down in-line or just in general when they didn't even have any food or drinks. Really really good fresh food - but their service is terrible. I've been here 3 or 4 times, every time the food takes forever to be prepared, even if no one else is in the restaurant. The workers complain about "being bored" when they're working, and just pace back and forth rather than making the food. This place is such a gem! The food is delicious and healthy. It truly feels good in your belly, and that's rare in most restaurants for me! They have a lot of items they make right in house, which makes everything all the more tasty. They have smoothies and great coffee choices, and their plant based menu is a vegetarian's dream! My partner and I stopped here on our cross country trip and we'd make a special trip back just for this place. All of their products aside, their staff is so friendly! Can't believe I'm about to say this about veganism, but I really REALLY wish they were a bit more vocal about being vegan. Granted, I was a cranky bear this morning - I had waited till around 10am to go in and work after starting work at 7 am, but I was really looking forward to a big ol' good cup of coffee. I wasn't really sure what to expect - is this a coffee shop? Is this a cafe? I figured it was the first, so I went ahead and leaned into what I thought would be great coffee - the biggest Americano they had. The teller asked if I wanted cream in my coffee, which I thought was weird considering you usually doctor those things at the coffee bar on the side - but I consented, thinking she was asking if I wanted room. I could not have been more wrong. Not only did they fail the Americano test - the espresso was burned - but I got about two teaspoons of thick almond milk faux creamer which did nothing but make the coffee slightly watered down. I wish it would have just been black at that point. I went back to ask for more creamer and got a ketchup shot size of more creamer, at this point I was more curious why there were no regular sugar and/or cream on the coffee bar. I tried to stomach it and couldn't take it anymore. I had to leave and go to a different place. I couldn't stand it. I was fuming by the time I left from a) lack of coffee after working for 4+ hours and 2) having crappy coffee when I did get it and 3) finally realizing that this was a vegan joint after a (shocking) very vocal vegan in the upstairs area started talking about the food. I drove by this place at least 4-5 times a week and wondered for about two months what it was - just seeing the neon sign. It took me another three times driving by AFTER I visited to see the sign on top of the building. I think I would go back and try a latte with just almond milk and be fine, but I was so incredibly frustrated with the poor branding and poorer experience that I'm not sure I'll go back. read more

First off, this place is a VEGAN restaurant so that's important to note. People on here talking about how it's "another cafe or coffee shop in Ogden are missing the point. We don't have the privilege of having a Vegan restaurant in Ogden. Or a restaurant with clean, organic ingredients. I don't even think we have one in Weber or Davis counties. It's safe to say (for good reason in this review) that there are no restaurants in Ogden like Cuppa. NONE. Most of the food menu is $7.95 or less, and portions are decent sized. All of their produce is sourced organic and all items on menu are non-gmo. Yes please. It's all amazing but I recommend the avocado tartine or the jackfruit sandwich if you want to ensure you start off on the right foot with this place. As far as beverages, both the french press coffee and house kombucha are awesome. They also have vegan baked goods...what a cherry on top for us brave Ogden vegans! The atmosphere of Cuppa matches the amazingness of everything else they do. It's beautiful, comfortable, and inviting. Check out the upstairs, they have couches, board games, and a piano. Upon arrival we saw two cute standard poodles greeting us in the small dog park/pen area next to the patio. Inside was cute, cozy and quiet. Food was delicious. It's delicious, inexpensive, and I can't believe they made such a healthy meal taste so good. Unbelievable. What a hidden gem. I'd read the Buddha bowl was great and two people in our party ordered that and I had the Buddha burrito. It tasted like a fresh, regular meaty burrito but more layers of flavor. What they do with BBQ jackfruit to make it look and taste like meat (right down to the beef-like texture) blew my mind...marinated beans, greens, slaw chipotle may all wrapped in a coconut tortilla. Unlike most the restaurants I frequent, there was no post fat or sugar-eating coma afterwards. Most of the vegan items I've tried over the years have been tasted anywhere from a plain cardboard box to a lackluster quiche spackle. This was nothing like that. Service was also good, prompt, genuinely friendly which is a nice change from the robotic fake customer service you get at most businesses who could care less. As you can see from other photos posted, the place has a two-story, southern exposure glass wall on one side that fills the space with natural light. Plenty of plants in the windows, sofas to relax and sip coffee while working on your laptop. My kinda place. It was clean, artsy and thoughtfully placed knick-knacks. The vibe throughout was excellent and welcoming. My new go to place. We went in the off-peak hours around 11:30 and as we were leaving, the place was really hopping. I went here with a friend who is a vegetarian. (I am neither vegetarian nor vegan). I absolutely LOVED the space. It's modern and sleek. Eco-friendly. I love how true they are to their vegan principles--even going so far as to boast their vegan-friendly non-animal "leather" sofas. And there are a lot of places to sit comfortably on sofas upstairs. The patio is also great and BONUS--dog park!! I wish I had known that before I went; I could have brought my miniature schnauzer with me. (Why is that not on their website??) But I can only give 3 stars because my iced chai latte was watery and not sweet. I chose almond milk which I am fine with. I think that when you use a watery/ non-dairy product as a "milk" you need to balance your ratios differently so the other flavors can come through. Instead I had very little chai flavor. And most chais are made from a sweetened mix so you don't need to add sweetener. This one clearly was made from an unsweetened mix--which is fine--but I would like to have known that so I could have asked for honey or whatever to get it how I liked it before they brought it upstairs to where we were sitting. (The service was a plus, too.) I am glad Cuppa is on Ogden; I'm sure vegans will love it and it sets it apart from the other coffeehouses in town. But I don't know if I'll be going back myself. I have been here several times in the past and have had good food and good service (4-star worthy). However, my most recent visit was the best service my family and I have received as of yet. My sister and her husband were on a Daniel Fast, which is a pretty strict vegan diet with an additional restriction of no yeast or preservatives, and we were worried they wouldn't have anything to eat. Fortunately, the two employees were more than willing to answer questions about what they put in their food. The manager explained what some dressings contained and was patient and accommodating. They're serving Pink Elephant coffee from out in Park City, which is not a bad brew by any stretch. 1.75 for a small cuppa (HA!) joe. I did not realize they serve lunch (cafe style), but it smelled heavenly when we walked in. If the smell is an indicator of the food's taste, we might be back for lunch some time. As for the space and seating, we were pleasantly surprised. There are two big tables and some window bar seats downstairs, and probably half a dozen big tables and just as many couches upstairs, a coffee table with games for the kids, a ton of power outlets, and even a piano. The decor was modern-ish with nice wood and solid colors. Everything was clean. I'm not convinced Cuppa will become a regular hot spot for us, but it was a great visit and we look forward to coming again. read more

Holy cow was this place good. Not only do they have really good breakfast tacos, their happy tea is sooooo good. This little place has a loft upstairs perfect for checking emails or reading.
