The price has tripled since I started buying it. It's $15 now, which is crazy. The regular standard size birthday cake is expensive and comes with zero decor. You're charged for adding any decor and charged again for writing Happy Birthday. My friend said a standard sheet cake was going to be nearly $70. I know grocery prices have gone up but the price of cane sugar and flour are still reasonable. I have been enjoying their sweet treats for 35 to 40 years but, I can't bring myself to pay that for a kids birthday cake. Or for an adult. And the little 3x4 squares are good, but at that price point..... They have pretty much priced themselves out of a longtime customer. On the plus side, the lady that works the front is always helpful and friendly!

The flavors were somehow strong but subtle in the best of ways. At a staff suggestion, I paired it with the chocolate, which was an absolute stellar of a staple. The size of the piccolo was perfect. The gelato was some of the best I ever had. And the staff were absolutely excellent. As my Bestie says, the whole experience was absolutely worth an Instagram photo shoot.
