It would be a good place to host a little birthday party or even have an event, where you decorate your own cupcakes. I think kids would really enjoy that activity, which they provide as an option. O.M.G.!!!!!! I loves me a good cupcake and thought I'd found a great one near me in Canton but then Cupcake Castle came into my life. Located in a non-descript strip of stores and offices is a castle full of yummy, delicious cupcakes. Given the cutesy, cutesy princess interior I was afraid the cupcakes would be way too sweet, just to fit in. But the cupcakes are phenonmenal a delicate balance of flavors that just explode in your mouth. I tried the french toast and cherry pineapple with coconut cream filling. The cake was moist and the icing was deliciously complementary. It wasn't too sweet or overpowering. I have to continue to rave about the french toast it was AHMAZING! The subtle maple taste with real bacon bits that explode with flavor, so great! Have I mentioned so good. The cupcakes here generally have a yummy filling, which is a different twist on traditional cupcake varieties. I can't wait to go back and try something else like caramel apple, german chocolate, chocolate kiss ... Or maybe I'll have to go classic and try the chocolate and red velvet. Place for princes and princesses. I found this place by accident while waited for my tires change. The place was on quiet street and difficult seen from the street. Inside of The cafeteria looked clean and fairy. It's perfect place to make a birthday or party for small girls. As the name suggested, they sold cupcakes. I bought one for son and he liked. My husband and I strolled in here this afternoon in search of delicious cupcakes...AND WE DID!! Not only is this place absolutely adorable, the cupcakes are dynamite! We got a 1/2 dozen for $14 which included vanilla, Twinkie, cookies and cream, m&m, raspberry vanilla, and Rice Krispie treat. The flavor is on point, the cupcakes are so moist, and the icing is phenomenal! Just what I do not need, another cupcake shop close to home. I'm in trouble. This location is very close to Pure Delite Cupcake but blows them out of the water. I like the interior of Pure Delite more vs the castle theme here but it's still all about the cupcakes. I ordered a root beer and a oreo cupcake. The root beer was delicious and is actually the first time I ever had a root beer cupcake. So delicious. The cake was most and the frosting was light and sweet but not too sweet. Just right. I only had 1 bite of the oreo but the frosting was different, more whip cream but it was still really good. We accidentally stumbled across this place. This place just opened yesterday. They have great cupcakes! They offer over 50 kinds of cupcakes! We loved the French toast and the dirt cup cupcakes. Bland cake (carrot cake tasted like plain, dry sawdust) was topped with icing so sweet that all you tasted was sugar. The texture of the icing was fatty - like they use shortening instead of butter. Five of us visited and everyone agreed - the icing is too sweet and the cakes are unremarkable. The only thing that stands out is the pretty packaging. Stumbled on this new business when reading Yelp reviews. I am so glad people posted as the shop is out of the way. I tried raspberry lemon. The cake was fresh and very moist with a raspberry filling . The flavor was lovely ! Frosting was not too sugary. I could do without the sugar flower placed on top of the frosting. Price was higher than the other nearby shop but so much better. I am a Main Street Cupcake fan because of the innovative flavors that they have developed. As far as cupcake shops go, this one needs a little help. The storefront is bland and the inside lacks a certain charm. I like the idea of this place, but even the gal helping us at the counter lacked charisma. The variety of cupcakes was interesting and they looked cute, so I suggested they be competitors on Food Network's Cupcake Wars. She completely downplayed the idea and lacked confidence in the things she said, it made ordering uncomfortable. Since this was my first time in the store, and I brought two highschool girls with me, I just expected a warmth that we didn't get. Each little cake was packaged in a pretty box with a ribbon, but lacked in flavor. They tasted okay, but just okay. We got Cake pops for a baby reveal. Due to a miscommunication the baker revealed the sex of baby to the expected mother when she wasn't suppose to. Forgivable offense. The condition of the cake pops themselves where not. The batter,that was to show the sex of the baby when bit into, was on many of the pops sticks. Batter was oozing out of at least three. Many of the cake pops where cracked and you could see the color of the cake. Then the taste wasn't worth the money I spent. I had a hard time ordering because the would only do a dozen increments, which is understandable but would let me do the outer shell different on the 2nd dozen. As a cupcake aficionado, I have tested made visits to nearly every cupcake shop in NE Ohio. I love discovering a new shop to stop by, but this one didn't really impress. First of all, I will give you my initial impression. Fruit flies inside the cupcake counter. So, that was gross, but I am a runner and swallow tiny insects on the regular, and since its never killed me, I decided to still go for it. I'll also add that the cupcakes aren't really the prettiest I've ever seen; in fact, they probably rank the lowest appearance-wise. They use these liners with very tall edges and after baking the cupcakes fill the paper towering above the cake with frosting so it reaches the top. Just not as cute as what you usually get from a professional cupcakery. My fiancé and I sampled a chocolate cupcake and an apple cider pumpkin cupcake... and after trying them both agreed that neither were very flavorful. Oddly, there was an unexpected caramel filled chocolate in the cider pumpkin cupcake, so the mix of flavors (caramel-chocolate-apple-pumpkin) was a bit over the top and it sort of took away from the pumpkin/cider flavors that I expected to dominate. The chocolate cupcake was also filled with a surprise filling: so much chocolate pudding it had to be eaten with a fork because it was collapsing. I wasn't crazy about the heaping pudding center, but it did give the cupcake most of its flavor and moisture. If you really want to satisfy a chocolate craving, you would be much better off making your own cupcakes from a store bought mix. Bottom line: I've had worse, but also had better. With three other cupcake shops in this area, I won't be stopping by this place again. I will agree with others that the interior is geared towards children and would be a great place for a birthday party or children's event. Very princess-y and pink. read more

My only criticism was i surprised on the amount of cupcakes that were on display there was only 1 cupcake of some varieties maybe more in the back but what if I wanted 6 of that one. Ironically I had a flower cookie at work and it was delicious and I saw a dozen cupcakes all different varieties and that is what brought me to go to the Cupcake Castle. When I want a little treat and not a whole cake, this is my go to place! Fantastic customer service. They have several different flavors every day so there's always something for everyone. You can turn your cupcake into a shake and even buy a "pupcake" for your puppy *which my dog LOVES and he's picky for a dog*. there's even a party room in the back or you can simply take in your child and have them decorate their own! I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews about the store front. But maybe im the type that goes more for cleanliness than being the high maintenance type that needs glitz and glam, especially for a place that isn't a dine in restaurant with ambiance.
