I bought two dozen cupcakes for my wife's birthday party. It was $25 per dozen, and totally worth the price. They have cupcakes they make everyday, basics like chocolate and vanilla. And then specialty flavors that they make only on individual days. So if you're picking up Saturday, you pick between the Everyday and Saturday, and seasonal menu. We got 6 flavors, 4 of each. Wow!!!!! Just wow:) This bakery is tiny but oh so mighty. My husband and I stopped by while in the area. The cupcakes are $2.50 each. It's not too bad. The flavors are interesting. We got the blueberry with lavender frosting and the Mexican vanilla cupcakes. The lavender was not overpowering at all. It is so gentle and so smooth. The actual cupcake was gentle and had a very nice taste to it. The Mexican vanilla cupcake was a bit cinnamony but again not too much of it. It was just the perfect blend. THANK YOU!! read more

These cupcakes are definitely from a mix. I am well acquainted with cake mix cupcakes and that is what these taste like. If you've never baked from scratch or had cupcakes from a true bakery, these are acceptable. I like White Flour Cake Shoppe and Cupcake Binge doesn't come close. Regardless of these being from a mix or not, I wouldn't go back. The cup cakes were mediocre and the icing was grainy and way too sweet. We bought four and ended up pitching two of them. If you want a successful business make a product people want more of and will recommend to their family and friends. One bad review won't kill your business if others like your product. read more

I had been a longtime customer of Cupcake Binge using them for two showers, a wedding, and two graduation parties, each event holding 100+ people. At our last event, I ordered 16 dozen mini cupcakes to be delivered to our venue. I talked with the owner over the phone on two separate occasions and also followed up in text messages that she would provide tiers and labels for the 12 different flavors and set-up the display when delivered. All of this totaled $600. On the day of the event, cupcakes were delivered with no tiers or labels 45 minutes before the event. Thankfully, after making calls to friends and family who hadn't left yet for the party, some were able to grab tiers and trays from home and help with set-up when they arrived at the party. The owner was not happy hearing I was going to write a review and instructed our family to not longer do business with her, which we surely will not, nor will I ever recommend Cupcake Binge to any family or friends ever again. I had mentioned I would (write a review) to the delivery woman (who I found out later was the owner's sister) when she was providing NO remedy to the situation and just kept unloading the cupcakes from her vehicle and also questioned the truthfulness of what I was saying. At that point, she offered to go pick up trays if my friends/family who were present and already calling stores, could locate them. She also suggested I just cut the plastic tops of the containers and just serve them out of the tray or simply set the cupcakes on the table with no trays, since they were in wrappers. I called the owner 3 times with no answer and then sent a few texts. 15 minutes before the party, the owner did follow-up in text apologizing and acknowledging it was completely her error. She was aware of what we had discussed with tiers and labels and just simply did not write down any instructions regarding what we discussed. Her sister was completely unaware and came completely unprepared. She said she would refund the 50 dollar delivery fee. She offered having her sister run to Hobby Lobby to get trays and tiers, but at this point she wouldn't even be back until well into the party began. I told her friends/family would just help. We were simply out of time at that point. As the owner stated to me, there are "more important things and people have bigger problems in life than cupcake tiers." She is absolutely right. There are also more important things and ways to spend $600 as well. Be thankful for customers willing to spend this kind of money on cupcakes in today's climate. The presentation was just as important to me as the quality of the cupcakes, after such an investment. It was a focal point I was VERY excited about for our event. I would think most who spend that kind of money on cupcakes for a major event would agree. Unfortunately, this could of been an event for much follow-up/referral business and also years of continuous business from our large and growing family alone. I ordered cupcakes from them for my baby shower. Asked them to make some that looked like poop, and others that looked like shark find in the water. Everybody complemented not only their looks but also the taste. They have many different flavors too, which is nice. We were really sad to find out they left the store front they were at, but at least they offered delivery. I really hope they stay in business, because this place is soooo much better than the overhyped Pandoras Cupcakes!! read more

Lynn Stricker and her daughter have put together a great shop with tasty delicious cupcakes and great presentations ! Have taken them as holiday party desserts and everyone loved them and rave about the diverse flavors. I absolutely LOVE cupcakes and have had them from several places along the whole eastern seaboard and her cupcakes are a 10 in my book! I continue to try different cupcakes around the country and Cupcake Binge is still the undisputed champ! Their cupcakes are the fluffiest, most moist and flavorful I have found. The icings they create amazing and busting with flavor that compliments the cakes. I live stopping by and trying their different rotating specialty flavors but you can't go wrong with the regulars either (my favs being Cup O' Java, & Strawberry Explosion). I have been eating Cupcake Binge cupcakes for years. They used to be in Munroe Falls and moved to Stow in the Mark's Plaza. These cupcakes are delicious and moist. The frosting is wonderful too. I can not say enough good things about this place! We recently used Cupcake Binge for our wedding dessert instead of a traditional cake.
