Had a great experience. My husband and I had a recent visit to Utah and we were looking for something different to try and something quick. Saw this place and decided to try it, this was Korean style poke. You order at the counter and take it to go...perfect!! The place was busy and they had a small but nice dining area. I went to place my order and was greeted by a nice young man named Kyle. Kyle was very helpful, I told him I was placing three orders and this was my first visit. I explained to him that I needed a little assistance with the order and he was happy to help. He gave me a run down on the different types of proteins, what was included in the bowl and the different types of sauces. We didn't want sauce that was too spicy so he suggested which ones were good. Very much appreciated. The food was very good, we all ordered the Combo Bop. With the Combo Bop you get a choice of two proteins ( beef, chicken, pork) or vegetables, it includes steam rice, noodle and mixed cabbage. If you're visiting Utah, it's worth trying!! read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The two guys taking the orders were extremely rude. I have always ordered the cup bop with extra noodles and vegetables. The one taking my order told me I can't do extra noodles even though their menu says it's one of the options as a protein. I asked if I could pay for extra noodles. The 2nd guy said "did you not hear what he said, you can't do extra noodles". They also messed up my order and when I asked them to fix they were even more rude and argued with me that they hadn't messed it up even though I stood there and watched them make it. To be totally honest, I have not been a fan of Cupbop for a long time but recently their food clicked for me and I can't get enough. I love that you get the best of both worlds with a little bit of noodles and a little bit of rice. Past that you get to choose your choice of meat and spiciness level. For the spiciness, I'd say the rating scale is pretty true to form with lv. 5 being where you'll start to notice it and you're probably safe with anything below that while lv. 10 is definitely spicy but probably won't scare you if you're a real spice hound. I've especially loved that if I'm able to beat the rush then I'm in and out in 5 minutes, making this an excellent grab-and-go option. However during peak hours you may have a harder time finding parking and you'll wait more than 10 minutes, but that's hardly a showstopper for your typical dinner date. I definitely recommend giving them a shot if you haven't tried Cupbop before, you might just discover a new favorite! read more

This is a very unique concept. Our siblings wanted us to try it this past winter when we were visiting and ordered quite a few of these. They seem small but are very filling. Our cupbops had things like veggies, noodles, and meat. I think the only thing is that because the order was big, it took longer to make and also the drive back made the cupbops a little bit on the soggier side. For instance, the chicken wasn't crispy but it still had much flavor. So I would actually recommend eating them at the restaurant and/or not having too much time has passed until you eat them. I told her upfront it's my first time there and i asked questions and she was rude with a bad attitude. I used to come to this cup bop a lot and I've never seen it clean in there. I have no idea how the health department lets this business stay open. The employees rarely have their gloves on. I've personally watched employees not wash their hands after using the bathroom. The Manager does not do his job very well, he comes into work and sits down or sits in the bathroom for hours on end. He picks favorites and left me completely out of the team until he fired me for no reason. I tried Cupbop a few years ago when I first moved here. I was not impressed. I recently saw that the owners of the chain were on Shark Tank and was wondering if maybe I missed something the first time I went. Maybe they changed their recipes or the first time I went, it was just a one-off oddity and the food was all too forgettable. Whatever they've done since then has made it much better. After reading some recent reviews of the place, I decided to go swing by and give it a try. I'm a big fan of KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and went with the bowl that had it-- Rock Bop. I ordered it to-go. Order was ready in about 5 mins, as there was no line. In the time I was waiting, I saw at least 4 take out orders/uber eats/door dash come and get their bags from the pick up shelf. I imagine during the meal hours, these locations get pretty busy and there will be a longer wait. After I got my food, I drove to a nearby park to enjoy the meal. First impressions were that it has a great look. The branding of the bowl is inviting and bold. Cracked open the bowl and was immediately sent to Seoul with that smell of gochujang and fried chicken. My first couple bites, were good. I noticed immediately, this bowl is sauce heavy. And not in a good way. I know some people like having the sauce but the spicy mayo thing they have going on the top... it's a little overwhelming. I ordered a spicy level 6 and feel like I should have gotten a 8+. I do like spicy things, but more so because I feel like having spicier sauce would balance out the almost overpowering flavor of mayo. I ate through the whole thing and finished it. The bottom layers of noodles and rice were both great. Noodles were just a little on the sweet side, but it worked. That sauce though.... Normally I'm sad when I'm out of meat and sauce but I was pretty happy once I got through that mayo statement. Overall, it was good. Price was about what you'd expect for a bowl about 9$. I was pretty satisfied. Would I go back? Sure. I would highly recommend that you get the mayo sauce on the side and add it as you go. Next time I'll get an 8+ for spicy level. read more

So I used to get cupbop a lot several years ago. After moving out of state and then back, it took a while to get back to a cupbop. While understandable from a cost perspective, it's a bit of a bummer that at least from my perspective they've decreased the amount of meat they put in and upped the lettuce and noodles. They're still good if craving the flavors but in terms of substance, until they up the meat content, I'm likely spending my $10 elsewhere. With that said, during lunch hour this place continues to be packed so I think they're not hiring for business! read more

I may or may not be kind of obsessed with Cupbob lately.....I always get a combo and get the B Bop but have started switching things up with the other side that I get. The different fried chickens are good. It's good as a left over meal the next day too (and I'm picky with left overs ). It will fill you up for sure. However, that's of course because it's a bunch of rice and noodles! You get like 5 pieces of chicken and some beef on top. I looked across the parking lot and the sun shined on the Cupbop building. It was like it was meant to be! LOL I popped in and got in line. The survive was very fast and they had some great suggestions. I decided to get the Tonkotsu which is Pork Broth: pork and chicken paste, pork, egg, bean sprouts, kikurage mushrooms, and green onion. My favorite part of ramen is the gooey egg and their eggs were perfect. I also got an order of Gyoza (fried dumplings) which was the perfect appetizer! I got my remember to-go: the broth and noodles come separately so I recommend putting your noodles in the broth right when you get home (or to your otherwise location) and then wait 5-10 minutes to let the noodles soften and get infused with the broth flavor. read more

I've been to Cupbop before in Provo and I usually like it, but when I went to this location, the staff were not helpful when I ordered. I had to ask for a soda cup and ask were the untensils were. They also did not ask me if I was taking my food to go. When I left, one of the girls had her phone out and another girl was eating food while she was serving either someone else or herself. Also, the Katsu chicken that I ordered was overcooked. I dont know where their manager was, but the service was terrible which affects the quality of the food and the experience. read more

There was a ton ofthis really thick white-ish sauce that I did not ask for and was not listed/shown on their menu. If it hadn't of had that, it probably would've tasted a lot better. It's noodles and rice...super carb heavy and supposedly comes with some veggies. I had literally less than 10 shreds of cabbage in contrast to what was shown on their website photos where it seems to be a sizable portion to both add a bit of nutrients but also texture. As it was, it was carbs+carbs + some good tasting chicken (5 nugget sized pieces) doused in some heavy and not tasty super sweet sauce. For the price, you could do a lot better. read more

I love that they have 10 different spice levels, and that they have several options, including a vegetarian option. Clean store, quick and friendly service. This place is delightful! I love cupbop I love ramen! Both together is awesome. We ordered the curry ramen, black garlic, Japanese fries and karrage chicken. My wife and I love Cupbop. We have gone countless times and even went there on our wedding day. However, today the service was horrible. No on was wearing gloves, even the people in the back. They would touch their hair and noses and get right back to business man handling all of the utensils and bowls. It got to the point where we had to look away because not knowing was better. After, we started eating the bops we ordered and there was absolutely no rice or salad, pure noodles. We love the chain, but will most likely never go to the one in Orem again.
