Clearly, it was their favorite-as they did not finish the portions from the other five vendors. Jerks. Anyway, I have to agree. From what I tasted, it was good. The flavor was excellent-didn't need sauce, although it did pair nicely with a sauce, if that's what you prefer. The meat was mostly shredded, although some of the larger pieces pulled apart effortlessly. So, I guess I'll need to stop by the restaurant so I can have a few more bites. And try a couple additional menu items. If it's as good as the pulled pork, it will be a phenomenal meal.

If you order from this restaurant for delivery, understand that no one in the restaurant is going to show empathy or concern if a mistake does occur. Their portions are vague, and they're not interested in changing anything. BEWARE: mistakes made on your order will NOT be rectified. Angel, who responded to my review, seems to taking this lightly. I am not taking it lightly, Les BBQ is off my list. It isn't about the mistake on my order, it's about the apathy and distrust displayed by the staff to what should have been a minor mistake. I keep trying them, hoping eventually we'll get one that really captures authentic Texas BBQ. SmokeDay BBQ isn't quite there yet, but I do think it's gotten Utah closer. The brisket was the highlight and the thing that reminded me most of BBQ I've had in Texas. When it was my turn to order, I asked for 1 1/2 lbs. The guy slicing the brisket (I believe the owner's son) was at the very end of one and initially started serving me mostly the loose pieces and scraps TX joints would normally reserve for sandwiches. I asked if he could start a fresh brisket and slice from that instead, and he happily did. The brisket itself was very good and definitely something I'd order again. It had that classic TX bark of salt and pepper and a nice smoke flavor. The sausage was also pretty good. The ribs may have just been an off batch that day, but they needed more time on the smoker. They were still pretty tough and the meat didn't come away from the bone easily. I'm definitely not looking for "fall-off-the-bone" ribs, but these needed to be more tender. For sides, we tried the coleslaw and mac and cheese. Both were okay, but neither stood out. The owner stopped by our table and told us we should have tried the creamed corn, so I'll give that a shot next time. One suggestion I'd have for them is to consider narrowing down the number of meats and sides and really focusing on the ones they do best. I think that's something that hurts a lot of BBQ places in Utah--they try to offer something for everyone rather than having a smaller menu where everything is excellent. Definitely a popular place, as there was already a line waiting when we got there at 12pm. It is a small family business with super friendly family members serving you. The food was really great. Had the brisket, pulled pork and sausage, with a side of corn, beans and mac n cheese. We also tried the chocolate pudding. The meats were really good and the corn cream was actually amazing...what a great tasting side! Highly recommend it and kudos to the owner, you have a good business and great family - good job and god bless you guys!
