I tried the seasonal sweet potato cheesecake and absolutely loved the flavor. I tried their classic banana pudding one as well which was also good. Do note that these are moreso dessert marchas, they're pretty sweet but they do allow you to adjust it to be less sweet, regular sweet, or extra sweet (I got regular and thought it was pretty sweet). If you're looking for something savory to balance out the sweetness, I highly recommend the crab stuffed biscuit. Wow. This was truly mouthwatering and something I'll absolutely be craving from now on. The ambiance is super cute and the service was 10/10. It's a very small shop so you can expect a line on the weekends but the staff are so sweet and handling it all so well. Looking forward to my next visit!

As I was coming back to my car, there was a traffic cop giving out tickets. Sistahs' Sweets is, as you may have guessed, owned by two sisters and features sweet treats such as cupcakes and drinks as well as savory items, featuring their homemade cheddar biscuit. Upon entering, the ambiance was light and whimsical with punches of red and pink decorations and limited seating inside (wi fi is available) along with outside seating. The staff was pleasant and I placed my order: a crab dip stuffed Baltimore biscuit, a breakfast biscuit (consisting of egg, bacon on a cheddar biscuit), and blueberry Passionfruit and summer peach lemonades. My order was ready in no time. First the breakfast biscuit. The bacon and egg were perfectly cooked and sandwiched between a homemade cheddar biscuit, which was perfectly baked. This sandwich was really good. Now the crab dip stuffed Baltimore biscuit was another matter. The biscuit was nice a brown, but when I went in to cut, the inside was underbaked, dare I say raw. I was a little disappointed. There was a smear of crab dip inside, but not nearly enough to justify the price. I had to place it back in oven to bake enough for me to enjoy. Full disclosure, I did get a response from the owners who were very apologetic in what I received and offered to make it right with another one on the house on my next visit! Now THAT's customer service! Now let's get into the lemonades...both blew my tastebuds away. The blueberry passion fruit and summer peach had bits of fruit in them and all I have to say is that I really enjoyed them! Now my score was three stars due to the underbaked biscuit, but they could have easily gotten one of my seldom given 5 stars if that biscuit was baked through. Just more bake time is needed. All in all, I rock with Sistahs' Sweets and will gladly pay them a return biscuit not only to try the crab dip stuffed Baltimore biscuit again, but to try their other lemonades, cupcakes, and savory items.

Next time I visit, I'll try either the S'mores CD or one of the shakes that my friends got. It's a small shop with some indoor seating (a few tables to the right, and ledge/stools to the left). When you enter, you'll see the ordering counter straight ahead. When we came in, there was only one customer in front of us. Orders are placed and paid for, then made to order. The line got long all of a sudden when a group of 10 people came in at once after us, but it moves fast considering. Everything is made in the back and then brought out. Holy Cow also takes birthday and other special occasion orders. On the receipt, it reads: "Order an Edible Cookie Dough 8lb Party Tub for your next event!!!" (I thought to myself, "or for Friday night" Just kidding!). I loved Holy Cow. Will be back again :)

I was hoping for something savory too but I didn't see anything in the display case. It was an impulse visit so I just grabbed and went. Baltimore Review 3/Many: I was at this historical market a few days ago while exploring Baltimore and going to a nearby convention, with this spot being pretty close to our not-so-good La Quinta Downtown hotel. After looking around, I eventually got some snacks from here, and I am happy I made that choice. They're mostly known for their namesake cookies, but since I'm not the biggest fan of either black-and-white cookies or chocolate frosting, I went with some Apple Fritters. The fritters were 3 for $5, which was a nice deal. They were large, not overly sweet, soft, had a light cinnamon flavor, and had plenty of apple filling. In short, they were very tasty and made a good snack throughout the short trip. Another person liked their cake donuts, and I concur, based on the piece of the blueberry cake donut I tried. The woman working there was also friendly. The reviews seem pretty mixed here, but I liked the fritter and the price was reasonable.
