Today I went in for my dental surgery. I had all on 4 dental implants done. First off, I have to thank everyone that was there to attend me. From the receptionist who signed me in and took down info on who was picking me up to giving my former daughter in law directions before releasing me to her. To the nurse who walked me in the back room for my surgery and was excited for me. To Erin who came in early to help me with my anxiety. She held my hand as soon as she saw my anxiety startup and was encouraging me while the anesthesiologist sedated me. Had it not been for her, I would've had a complete meltdown. The anesthesiologist was patient and talked with me while getting my IV inserted and told me step by step what was going to happen. I went to sleep so peacefully. I was woken up to get the final adjustments done and then they continued to monitor me. All my fears about my heart health, anxiety, and hypertension were all addressed. This clinic is so thorough! They insisted on getting clearance and directives from my cardiologist before doing anything. I've been to a few implants centers for consultations and not one brought up wanting clearance from my cardiologist before starting! Overall, it was the best experience for what I was having done. I also appreciate the friendly office staff associates. I did have one issue of concern with an facility manager who wasn't understanding or sympathetic of my explanation of why and what I was being charge for. I did feel she was a little unprofessional with her tone of response to my questions posed my questions to her respectfully. Over the last 40 years I have moved many times and have lived as far as PVE which was an 80 drive each way and I still would never have changed dentists or gone anywhere else because I believe I found the best dental office in all of Southern California. Everyone, and I mean everyone, from the dentists and hygienists to the front desk people and technicians couldn't be nicer and they are all knowledgeable and have made my dental visits much more enjoyable than you would think going to the dentist would be. They also have specialists that come in so you can schedule an appointment with an endodontist, periodontist or orthodontist without having to drive to several different offices. I was in for my regular cleaning yesterday with Kerry who has been cleaning my teeth all these years and she is truly an expert in her field. I hope to be coming here for the next 40 years! I had my All on 4 surgery at the Irvine office. When leaving that the Irvine office was closing I was not happy. But the best Dental Tech/assistant, Joe, moved to the Montclair office abd that is why I upped the $5k extended warranty. Everyone else seems very nice, but the Irvine office was a "family" atmosphere that I adored and made me choose Cunning Dental for this expensive but much needed surgery.
