Worst Customer Service! Next time I'll gladly drive the extra miles to the Haines City location if I decide to give Culver's another chance. I hate leaving negative reviews and rarely do, but management needs to be aware of what happened. To make things easier, I placed an online order for curbside pickup with a scheduled pickup time of 9:15 p.m. I arrived at 9:10 p.m., parked in the curbside area, checked in through the app, and waited. The curbside area is very dark and poorly lit, but I was able to find the sign. After waiting about 10 minutes, I noticed the drive-thru was busy, so I waited a few more minutes. I then thought maybe curbside service ended after a certain time, so I pulled into the drive-thru to ask. When I reached the window, I told the employee that I'd been waiting about 15 minutes and wanted to make sure I was supposed to be at curbside. I also asked if she could simply check whether my order had gone through in case there had been an internet issue, app glitch, or payment problem. Her only response was, "You have to go to curbside." She never asked for my name, never looked at the computer, and never attempted to verify my order. We went back and forth for nearly 10 minutes, and despite several other employees standing nearby, no one stepped in to help. Finally, I gave up and drove back to the curbside spot. Within moments, one of those same employees walked out with my order. So that means: * My order had been there the entire time. * It was ready while I was sitting in the drive-thru trying to get someone to help me. * Instead of simply saying, "I see your order--we'll bring it right out," they chose to argue with me. When I got home, the experience only got worse. I spent over $50 on dinner for my family, and the food was disappointing. The burgers and fries were cold, one burger was made incorrectly, and while two burgers were packaged in boxes, the third was carelessly stuffed into a wrapper and smashed in the bag. Mistakes happen, but poor customer service and a complete lack of effort to help a customer are much harder to overlook. This visit was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, I'll be taking my business to the Haines City location from now on. P.S. This was my first time going. I thought some of the negative comments couldn't all be right but I was wrong!! I ordered online at the winter haven location. Sat out side for a long time. I thought " hey maybe they're busy" whelp, no! When I went in. They had multiple employees just standing around and my food was just sitting there when I clicked that I was here at curbside. Needless to say getting cold food isn't great and not having employees to actually help each other to ensure the best experience from their patrons is lacking here!! Service and food were great however when we were leaving the elderly female team member was about to push a trash can into my 2 year old who was following his dad. Another team member noticed and told her not to run over the child, and instead of saying sorry or that she just didn't see him. She instead had a very audible response that was "I don't care if I do" and laughed. Don't you judge...we ordered $50 of food for two of us. I had chicken tenders and a double mushroom Swiss basket and a scoop of the flavor of the day. We were asked to pull into a parking spot. The workers we encountered were all friendly. And our food was RIGHT!!!!! All of it!!!! Amazing. I've noticed a lot of places in Winter Haven have a hard time getting orders right. Culver's has the best ice cream especially after a long day in the Florida heat. Convenient location to Legoland and Peppa theme parks. I highly recommend the mini size mixer. Owner was extremely inconsiderate to my wife's parking needs. She drives a handicap vehicle with a side load ramp. She backed into a parking spot and once she got out set cones to block the parking space so she could safely enter and exit her vehicle. He sent an employee out to move her cones. When we explained to him why she did it he told us we had to ask for permission to park in the parking lot. Then he failed to tell us that he charged her a second time before issuing a refund for the total amount. We found out by checking her bank account. She was just doing her job. Ask for the boss for the owner to come out and basically tell me that I had to ask permission to park in his parking lot to eat at his restaurant. Since this first post, the Franchise Owner personally called me and provided further explanation and better options to purchase gift cards. Good customer service goes a long way!! I waited for 30 minutes in the drive-thru to purchase a $30 gift card and was told after waiting all that time that I would need to come inside to purchase the gift card. I called the store manager and he said that his employee was mistaken. He said that they can sell '1' through the drive-thru but not more than one. In the meantime, I wasted a half-hour in their drive-thru and all the manager could say when I called was, "'sorry' for the inconvenience". 6/16/2021 7pm when we entered the line of the drive through. Not one car actually got to "drive through" and leave. 7 of us at all times waiting in line. Now i know they make it to order, but does this location? When we ordered our food, I was very specific about my burger no cheese. I hate American cheese. Burger had what? Two slices of cheese and the double burger was burnt to all hell. We waiting 31 minutes for our food. And waiting longer for them to re-fire was not going to be an option.
