Culver's is an attractive restaurant highlighted with bright blue awnings. Culver's excels at frozen custard, but not so much with other food items. Oh, service is notably extra friendly here. I know that concrete custard has been around a while, but I had my first experience with it at Culver's. I ordered the vanilla concrete custard mixer. They have a couple dozen toppings you can add to your mixer, though I just got mine with cookie dough bits. I loved it! Yay to concrete custard! I ordered the Butter Burger Cheese. It was okay, but I didn't like that they used iceberg lettuce and the cheese on the burger wasn't melted. The fish sandwich was probably the best thing we ordered, even if the fish portion wasn't the biggest. The onion rings were soggy and limp. Also the beer-batter flavor was a flop making the onion rings sour. The crinkle-cut fries really weren't much better. They had a sort of a nasty crispy texture. Would put zero stars if we could!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I put in an online order and got there maybe 10 minutes later. I parked at curbside pickup and waited 10 more minutes until someone came by and asked if I had ordered. Obviously I had. I was in curbside pickup. 10 more minutes pass Still nothing. I call them to see what's taking so long. They say it's almost ready 10 MORE MINUTES PASS I then call to ask for a refund because I want to leave this ninth circle of hell and suddenly they arrive with extremely cold food that was probably just sitting there. If it takes this long to get food, it's not fast food!! Half an hour isn't even normal for most sit-down restaurants, especially not for cold, soggy food! Hire more staff, you may be getting short-term profits from your skeleton crew but it cannot sustain itself. We will never return and will urge any other people not to eat here, this was an awful experience. read more

Party of 4 adults, arrived around 730pm. There were a good dozen people hovering, being as they had cups, I assume they'd ordered to-go. We stepped up to the counter. The gal working was friendly and efficient. Ordering went smoothly enough. Finding the drink dispenser and condiments was easy enough. The order came out missing an item. It was quickly handed over when I approached the counter. The food was ok. Unfortunately, the missing item was a shake, which was fairly liquidy once we had it. It's not every day that you nostalgically crave a root beer float, but when you do, you can't do better. They make their own root beer, and whereas soft serve isn't my favorite (vs scooped ice cream) it's perfect in a float. Comparing to other Culver's I have been this one does a great job! Husband had the dbl cheeseburger and I had the mushroom Swiss and they both were good. Shared some fries which were cooked perfectly. And of course we had to have concretes! Both were mixed thoroughly and made as ordered (pet peeve is when all the mix ins are at the bottom). As far as fast food and Culver's go...this one does a great job!! Totally disappointed. I heard great things about this place but it definitely wasnt what I was expecting, then again, I come from California - home of In N Out Burger the BEST fast food burgers ever in life!!! A friend and I walked 3 miles and it was suppose to be our reward for walking, "Work out to EAT Out" is my motto! We get there and the first thing you see is this ginormous menu! Litterally in size and amount of items! "...but we have everything you could ever want!" The counter kid said, who also shared he was from Florida and moved her specifically to work at that spot. ...interesting. So my friend quickly ordered a burger and crispy chicken sandwhich with pickles and onion rings and a drink. I ordered a small deluxe with fries bottled water and 4 chicken strips. The best thing of all of it was the crispy chicken sandwhich, which lacked the extra pickles and I had to ask again. The tenders were not tender, very geezy and dry if that can even be accomplished. Fries were cold and lacked seasoning and the onion rings were all batter and barely any onion. The worst part was the burger. The bun was nothing special; veggies and cheese were fine but the patty was thin and dry. I like me a juicy fatty, this was anything but. Furthermore, I felt like there were more workers than patrons but the place was a mess. There was trash all over the floor and the tables had trash all over them too. So would I recommend going to Culver's? Probably not. But if you're drunk enough and if you're hungry enough and it's the only thing that's open then it's decent. read more

Less than 1 star. I ordered a double patty, no bun. After the cashier messed up several times with our mini concrete mixer, and one scoop sundae, everything on the screen was correct. I waited for the patties, and was told if I wanted the second one, I would have to come in and pay for it. I explained the situation. The Culver's employee just kept saying "I'm sorry, There's not much I can do." I left with no resolution. I like Culver's. It is a Wisconsin institution and this one is the furthest west. Instead of fried chicken, however, they serve pot roast. I prefer the fried chicken. Everything else is spot on, however, and equal to the quality and taste of a Culver's franchise location anywhere else in the United States. Our first time going to Culver's for an ice cream cone. We were very much looking forward to it. And what an expensive disappointment it was. We both had one scoop of the daily special ice cream. Just ordered a two piece cod meal with fries, slaw, and fries to go. When I got back to motel to eat, bag had a fish sandwich and fries. They charged me for a meal. Not worth it to drive back for the right price. I'm not much for fish sandwiches, but I was able to eat it and the fries were okay. Since I live 1037 miles away, I will not be returning to this Culver's. I guess if you get an order to go in Williston, make sure you check what is or isn't in the bag. read more

So, we've driven past here a few times but never went in. Was looking for a fast place to get some good food, the menu online looked great so we headed down there. Initial impression was good, front area appeared clean. My husband wanted fried chicken but they were out. Ordered a hamburger for me and he ordered the fish dinner. Not a lot of people there on a Monday night. Went to the back to sit down and there were dirty tables and food on the floor. Went to get napkins and that area was dirty with full garbage cans. Waited and waited for our food, three people who came in after us were served. After a half hour, went up front in search of our food, the cashier was flirting with a couple of guys at the register and our tray of food was just sitting on the counter. Had another girl hand me my tray of food, food was cold. Didn't give me our shakes so made another trip up front to get them. Seemed like the place was run by teenagers without any adult supervision. Plus there were a lot of employees sitting throughout the restaurant on break. The burger was lukewarm but tasty, onion rings and fries were cold. All in all, not the best meal. The shake was awesome, if we go back we'll use the drive thru since those people seemed to get their food quicker. read more

Not kid friendly at all. We ordered food, ate, and the kids went up to grab their included ice cream. Manager thought it would be appropriate to threaten my youngest child, told him he was going to have to leave the building... why? Because he didn't have a shirt on. (There is no posted sign) At no point during the taking of my money did they say anything about how the children were dressed but when they were away from my side for the ice cream he confronts then making threats to a six year old child. Absolutely unacceptable treatment, there is no reason to threaten children when their parents are present. My pregnant wife lived off Culvers it seemed like. Coming from MN and relatives all over Wisconsin we were thrilled Culvers came to Williston! Cheese curds are awesome. Custard is amazing, flavor of the day is always nice for something new. I love the Reuben, the wife loves the classic butter burger deluxe. We were thrilled to have a new restaurant in Williston and have been there several times since Culver's opened. We went tonight. Whoever manages that Culver's store either needs training or needs to be fired. We waited 45 minutes from the time stamp on our ticket until our food came. When it finally arrived, it was cold. The place was not busy, maybe 15 customers there. We were inside, so we couldn't see the drive-through, but there are always lines waiting for food there. Some other customers who ordered before us were told their order was "lost". They weren't offered a discount or much of an apology. The service at this Culver's has gotten progressively worse since it opened and now the incredibly poor service is outweighing their good food. Probably won't go back. read more

Today a whole entree was missing and chicken was buffalo chicken! Every time it is something. Then to top it, the kids' ice cream ordered. I love Culver's! But my only complaint would be that there is always something missing or wrong with our order. My mom ordered cheese curds, the order came and no cheese curds. She goes up the cashier says they will be right out. 15 mins later my mom goes up again and the cashier looks at her like why are up here. They always forget the second you tell me. Seems to me that some employees just socialize, while others seem to be always doing something. The food and ice cream are great, it's worth a try! read more
