Traveling for business Tired and hangry Just wanted to order and eat I am from CT so I am jealous of you folks who take Culvers for granted. Best fast food burger in the US in my opinion. Service took a few minutes through the drive-through, but it was exactly as I ordered, hot and fresh, and they are simply trying to move the line along to give other people a chance to place their order. Ignore the three stars on this place. They are working hard to meet the demand that their restaurant attracts. Think about that. read more

I understand its a chain, but, I love the custard. C - Car side service, or drive through or dine in U - Utterly delicious chocolate custard -easy on the tummy. S - Something for the gluten free individual. T- Time, The food takes Time. A - Always had a good experience. R - Remember they cook it fresh. D - Delicious chicken strips or fish or burger. The inside is like the others in the chain. They will bring out the orders if you go take seat. Give the custard a try. read more

Me and my husband stopped in for lunch the other day, and we just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our visit. Everyone was so friendly. We were greeted when we walked in and thanked when we left, and that really meant a lot to us.The young teenager who took our order was so polite and patient. He had such good manners, and you don't always see that anymore. It was so nice to experiance. The food was delcious as always. Thank you to everyone working there we'll be back again soon read more

It's about the food but it's also about expectations. Everyone is understaffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The staff working were polite and helpful A nice normal Culver's. The restaurant was clean. The service was fast and efficient .The food was good and solid, hot and delicious, and the portions were really normal. I had the Children's meal which included a single patty, small fries and a small drink. I get the root.beer which I enjoy. It includes a scoop of the daily custard or a token. People of any age can order a kid's meal and as a person of a certain age I find it is the perfect serving amounts for me it's about $7.50. read more

Culver's - Drive thru - Burgers Near Me - West Des Moines, Iowa

Culver's is a great gluten free quick restaurant when traveling. I grabbed a butter burger with a gluten free bun on my most recent trip. I went through the drive through and it didn't take long to get a burger. I appreciate that they have gluten free buns that they heat up in plastic bags making it safer with cross contamination. I didn't think to order custard but wish I had! There is a large restaurant if you plan on going in and the service and price were great. It was about 6.00 for a gluten free single butter burger. read more

Don't order curbside expecting your food to actually come out. 3 time in a row I've waited 30 mins after hitting "I'm here" before I go in myself and tell someone (who is leaning on the counter chatting) that I (and other people) have been waiting for our food. Only then will about 4 orders come out at the same time. Burger was also cold. read more

Good food and good service. Food was hot and staff was kind. Bottom line: I would come here again.

Love Culver's!! However, we will not come back to this location. The food came out fairly quickly, which was nice. When we started eating, we noticed a hair in my fish platter and went up front to ask for a new meal. It happened, and I wasn't upset, but didn't feel like looking for Belair throughout my lunch. When I showed them the mishap up front, it took 3 employees to inspect the plate and then pick out the hair and show it to me... not sure what the point was, as I had shown them the issue. After trying to convince me to just take my food back and eat it, now that the hair is removed; they realized I was expecting a new meal, which I then received. The fish was dripping of oil and had no flavor. My wife's sourdough burger was so subpar that she ate a quarter of it and since my fish was not much for the palette either, we decided to leave without finishing lunch and grab food elsewhere. read more

Stop by the place driving back from Colorado. Kids ( teenagers) begged for Culver's . Service excellent, quick and pleasant. Best part they allowed my dog come in and enjoy her burger read more

Five outta five stars. Food was made with love. Perfect road trip stop! Vibes were immaculate.

I wanted to like this place but the fried food all tastes the same. From fires, onion rings to the curds it was difficult to taste anything beyond it being fried. I would recommend the double burger for anything you order as they are pretty thin. If you get a single and any other toppings be prepare to taste those topping and not the meat patty. That said the frozen custard and shakes are a hit so 3 stars it is. read more

First time I've ever visited Culver's and my experience was excellent. We sat inside. The tables were socially distant with some 10 other booths occupied. My buddy got the cheeseburger and I got a chicken salad. The chicken salad was good. The vegetables were fresh and the size was just right. The chicken was fresh and hot as were the cashews. When they found out this is my first visit they brought me a small dish of vanilla ice cream. Nice touch! read more

I'm not sure why this place gets bad reviews. I came here twice and the food was consistently good. The first time, drive thru was long so it did take 15 mins to get our food. But that makes sense on a super busy Friday night with 20 cars in the drive thru. Second time we decided to go inside since the line was long again. Here are my thoughts on what we ordered: Butter burger deluxe- high quality burger with meat you can tell that just came off the griddle and not in some heater. You can really taste the smokiness and crisp edges on the beef. One of the best fast food burgers I've had to date! Spicy chicken sandwich- husband ordered this and it has a kick! I would rank it one of the top chicken sandwiches besides Chick fil A Onion rings- by far one of the best onion rings I've had anywhere. They have an extremely crispy but light batter. Doesn't feel too heavy and gross for fried food Chili cheese fries- damn these were good! You get a big portion and their chili is on point! Custard- I have been missing out!! The texture is sooooo creamy, not too sweet, and love the topping selection! read more

After a few trips to this location I got hair in a hamburger 2 times. The person at the drive through could not communicate with me in English and the place is nasty. The manager should be fired and the people at the health department should be fired. Nastiest place I have ever been to and I have worked in 27 countries!!! read more

Came here again after my brother raved about how good it was. Seems like I liked it more this time. The fries had more salt than I remember and tasted pretty good and the burger was pretty solid although different than a normal burger in a good way I guess. Overall it was an enjoyable meal and would recommend giving this place a try if you want premium fast food. read more

i came to this culver's at 9pm on a Wednesday night, very excited for my 4pc chicken tenders with fries, and my chocolate reese's concrete mixer, only to be very disappointed. The food came out very quick which was nice, however my order was completely messed up! i ordered just as i had said above, and received a 4pc chicken tender meal with NO FRIES ( as i had asked for them when ordering through the drive thru ) on top of that disappointment i tasted my ice cream, which was not what i ordered and instead was a chocolate concrete mixer with bananas in it! ew! this place had one other car in the drive thru, with two cars in the parking lot. they were not busy at all! i'm very disappointed with this culver's experience and will not be visiting here again. read more

Longest i've ever waited in my life for "fast food" 3 cars that came after us got their food first. It's been 15 minutes still going.

For "fast food", this was some pretty good cod (not as good as Wisco Pub off Merle Hay though...). Batter was light and crispy, fish was plentiful. Coleslaw was average, as were the fries. But the fish was great if you're in the mood for some good "Wisconsin" fish fry. read more

LOVE their food! Lots of variety, everything FRESHLY made; pleasant staff AND- Senior Discounts!

There is a lot of room for improvement, I got sick to my stomach within 3 hours after eating here . I wish I stayed home and ate a salami sandwich. We asked for no onions we got onions we asked for extra pickles we got a total is 2, my son got sick the week before he didn't say until I told him I got sick . A cheap eat but , not great . read more

I went here for lunch during the week around 12:00 & i expected it to be busy/slow. but it was the opposite! there were maybe 3/4 cars in front of me but i only waited a few minutes to order. i was only parked maybe 2-3 minutes to get my food. grilled chicken sandwich was fresh tasting only recommendation would be sauce to be on it, although adding honey mustard topped it off fries could have been bigger for a medium but it was plenty strawberry lemon ice smoothie is one of my favorites in the summer & its finally back! it was milky yet icy & was amazing. a medium was perfect size read more

Wow! I will never eat at this Culver's again. They've jacked their prices, which is mostly understandable due to inflation. But, they've also started screwing customers on the product. I noticed the last couple of visits that the toppings in my concrete mixers were quite short, but now check out the picture of my over $6.50 fish sandwich: it's the same bun but with half the fish. I was basically eating a 1/2 bun sandwich 1/2 fish sandwich. Do not go to this location! read more

ANOTHER BAD RATING! I just went thru the drive thru and ordered a ICE COOLER, guy comes out with a lemon smoothie. I argued that's not what i ordered and he processes to say i'm wrong and he's right! I am allergic to dairy & could not drink this!! read more

We stopped in for 2 baskets and were there for 45 min before our food was ready. When we got our burgers, they were cold. The whole restaurant was full, and all of the customers were either up at the counter waiting on food or speaking with employees about getting the wrong order, not getting their things, etc. It seemed like some employees really wanted to do a good job, but they just got so far behind that it was really difficult to come back from. All the customers were upset in the restaurant. read more

Came in to this Culver's on a busy Saturday afternoon expecting the wait to be longer than usual. I was pleasantly surprised the service was so quick. Huge props to Daniel the super polite young man who took our order quickly and efficiently. My husband and I both greatly appreciated how well mannered he was with "sir" and "ma'am" and a "have a great day". The food was great and the fries are always delicious! Will return to this Culver's for sure! read more

Service is absolutely disgusting, the blonde host up front was absolutely rude to my party and I. we were a bigger party but offered to sit separately and be easy to accommodate, she told us straight up to leave as it would be too much of a trouble. Sorry if your location and servers were cheated out of money due to ridiculous customer service :) if they cant pay rent blame her :) read more

The staff is very polite and efficient . I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich meal and the food was exactly what I expected.

For a fast food joint this place is awesome! Love the grilled chicken cashew chicken salad with French dressing ! The salad is huge and filling ! I also recommend a snack pack with a burger fries and small drink for about 3 or 4 bucks ! Frozen custard pints are the way to go here ! Lots of flavors and only 4 bucks and change! read more

Actually pulled every car ahead instead of just getting their food to them. There is like 7 of us waiting. What a joke

I'm kind of surprised by the negative reviews. I live close by and pretty much every time rather it's during my 30 minute lunch break or dinner- my food is always good and fresh. read more

Staying at a nearby hotel during Covid times. Super fresh burger - I had the single bacon deluxe. Loved the light mayo and fresh bun, bacon was crispy and just the right saltiness. Fresh tomato, shredded iceberg and a slice of onion hit the spot. Felt like sumer time for sure! Friendly servers - but they do need to pay better attention to mask-wearing - gotta have it over your nose too, especially when you are working with people's food. Able to sit outside this August night, which felt safer. Already nice experience topped off with fresh frozen custard. read more

love this location. easy to find great parking, i found it looking for dinner driving back to Omaha late on Labor day. they were swamped. they got my food in record time and did the order rodeo as they ran back and forth in the waning heat.. food was excellent.. double butterburger with cheese, onion ring basket with the flavor of the day oreo cheesecake. ate dessert first.. Cheese curds were my obsession but the onion rings are the new love and chili fries are also my jam at Culvers.. i have heard other menu items are great.. i cant get past the butterburgers.. Thank you Culvers! read more

Every time I come to this location they screw up my order. I understand if it's super busy and there's a ton of people in line but last time I ordered curbside I didn't even get everything I ordered nor my drink, I had to go inside and reorder. Kinda defeats the purpose of curbside ordering. The drive through is a complete nightmare, it takes anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes after you pay waiting in a parking spot to get your food. When they do make your food right it's always delicious but most of the time it isn't worth the headache. read more

We normally like Culver's but this location does not maintain the same level of quality as other locations. We stopped on a late Sunday afternoon (1/4/15) and ordered burgers and cheese curds. The burgers were burnt while the cheese slices were ice cold. The cheese curds were so overcooked either the cheese had fried to a crisp inside the breading or had completely leaked out of the breading. My impression: too many teenagers not enough adults behind the counter. Will not be back. read more

I went to Culver's and ordered a triple butter burger with cheese and was not disappointed. It was delicious as was the service from the friendly staff. after ordering it didn't take long after getting some pop and ketchup for fries that my burger arrived. I've also had the cheese curds which are amazing! I'd recommend them every trip! Overall I had also good experience at this Culver's and look forward to my next meal there. read more

It's not bad; it's just that it's not particularly good IMO. I had a concrete mixer with chocolate frozen custard and double Reese's Peanut Butter Cups which is something I should have loved. I think Cold Stone is much better. I also tried the flavor of the day, chocolate covered strawberry, which I thought was good, but I wouldn't go there again. read more

Came in just shy of 9PM. We were the ONLY customers inside. We waited for over 5 min watching several staff sweeping, stocking, etc. I finally asked for someone to server us. The shift manager, Manuel, begrudgingly assisted us. Food was ok, service was terrible. They were out of marinera sauce too.... Not a good experience. read more
