I first discovered one of these Culver's in Arizona and enjoyed it. I heard about them online before that. We are in town this weekend and decided to stop by one the way back to our room. So my first time ever eating at a Culvers was 2 weeks ago, on my road trip from Chicago to Duluth (moving to stay). I had never had Culver's before and so, we stopped to eat some on the way, somewhere near Madison. I was enthralled immediately. It tasted so damn freaking good! Then when my partner visited me this past weekend, and got us Culvers from this location, it wasn't what I had remembered. I think it might be because they rushed or forgot about our order, but, the workers seemed to have burned my burger a bit, and the fries were lackluster compared to what I had two weeks earlier. I've never had Culver's until a recent trip to the MidWest and it did not disappoint. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the perfect amount of salt. I judge most fast food burger joints on their ability to make the most simple of items, the grilled cheese. Served on thick slices of bread and the perfect amount of cheese that was all melted. So we get there, it's packed like any one you go to. I debate what I want and I order an original butter burger, and a side of cheese curds. With Ranch and Ketchup. I ordered it To-Go. This place is the greasy goodness of hamburger joints! I had always heard about clovers, but did not get a chance to try it until I got to Duluth and was able to see for myself! I was super glad to have been shown this place! The burgers here are truly amazing! We went through the drive through and the food was so fresh and hot that it filled out whole car with the amazing aroma of hamburgers! By the time we got home my mouth was watering and I couldn't wait to take my first bite of the goodness known as a butter burger. When I bit into it, it was like nothing I had ever tried before! I don't know what they season their meat with, but it was the kind of burger that makes you crave more! Then I took my first sip of their blueberry milk shake and oh my! It had that amazing blueberry flavor that I totally love. I'm wondering if they actually put real blueberries into it because it was just that amazing! Pass through Superior once a week. Been to Culver's throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and South Dakota. I find the food, ice cream and drinks consistently good. The Superior Culver's has the distinction of the poorest counter service. The staff have always been pleasant and personable. However, staff attentiveness to customers waiting for service is very poor. Often they appear to be understaffed and too busy with other "things" than waiting on customers. Customers are often left standing at the counter waiting for someone to help them. This is a problem that I've seen repeatedly over the pass year and attribute the failing to poor management. If time is not an issue and you don't mind standing and waiting ------ go for it. read more

Stopped here after traveling about 6-7 hours from northwest Ontario to grab a quick bite to eat. Had a double butter burger and cheese curds. Very good for fast food. Wish there were Culver's in Pennsylvania. read more
