Hair in food

Unreal, went there in January 31st around 845 pm Service was slowly than the police response to the a shooting on Martin Luther King BLVD in any city. On top of that we get our food to go after it took over an hour to get a pizza and spindip. Next day we finally get to eat our left overs and we both find long gross hairs in our food baked into the pizza and the dip. We are bald... Yall need to tell whatever fat back hairy sunbich in the kitchen to wear a freaking hair net. Service sucked food sucked wont go back for awhile.

Old Chicago never seems to disappoint. Our waitress was awesome and came right when she noticed anything we needed. I got the best sour beer that i believe was an apricot sour beer it was fire. I got a chicken bacon ranch individual pizza which was flatbread it was bomb. I also got the buffalo wings no bone, those are delicious per usual. My co worker got spaghetti and meatballs he said it hide a little bit of heat to it. This was the best Old Chicago I have ever been to it had a pool table and bubble hockey. Yah just can't go wrong

My first time trying old Chicago. Th pizza buns have to have been the best I have ever had. The nachos were very unique as in the chips were like a hybrid of crispy and soft shell. The sauce was a little bit on the spicy side.

This place was the first stop on our weekend get-away to Duluth Canal Park. We were extremely hungry, so this was a test. We were seated almost immediately in the dining area and the server was Jonny on the spot. Our drink order was taken and served very quickly. I decided to stick to the basic burger. The prep time was under 15 minutes, and everything was served hot. The hamburger had very good flavor and fries were tasty. The place had plenty of TVs and the atmosphere was inviting. We revisited this place a couple days later and it was packed! We waited about 15 minutes for a table. I decided to venture a bit deeper into the menu and ordered the Mac & Cheese w/Chicken. Stick to the burger menu! This menu item lowered the rating! Still a good place for a burger and FF as you catch a sporting event on the many televisions.

CHICAGO FIRE CALZONE

100% recommended. The stack sodas were really good. I had the Hawaiian one it was amazing!!

Got a deep dish pizza. While the toppings were tasty, the crust was soggy and undercooked.

CHICAGO 7 CALZONE

Came to Duluth late in the evening and ordered delivery. First time I checked, it would be delivered by 10:04. By the time it arrived it was 11:04. Asked for 3 forks and knives, none were provided and neither were napkins. Thankfully the hotel was great to find some for us. We ordered a calzone, spinach salad and spaghetti with meatballs as well. Calzone was warm, lots of breading but good filling and sauce. Spaghetti purchaser said sauce was just ok. Salad was good size. The whole order would've been better with an accurate time of delivery as stated when we ordered -- 10:04. The time of delivery changed at least 3 times after that. Although delivery was through Uber, it reflects back to the business ultimately.

CHICKEN & BACON MAC

Good service, nice waitress, not busy at all. We might've been the only people there at 3 on a Wednesday. Food is what you'd expect from a typical chain restaurant. Good, but nothing amazingly special.

We came here for lunch. My son had the chicken tender's appetizer (not pictured), my husband had Chicago 7 calzone with fried pickles, and I had the Chi Trio appetizer. The chicken tenders were over cooked a little so the breading had several hard parts to it. Son gave it a a rating of 5/10. The calzone was half bread and but once through all the bread, it was delicious. The fried pickles were AMAZING! The Trio appetizer was good. Mozzarella sticks weren't very warm. The rest was good. The biggest complaint would be that they water down the ranch to the extreme so it's like water instead of a creamy dressing with substance. The waitress was attentive and great! Would visit again.

I can wax poetic about wandering around the building but, that can be for another time. The brewhouse is a cool place to hang after you've become weary of hitting all the shops on Canal street. Nestled in the old brewery you will experience first and foremost some solid beers (take some crowlers home with you), and some decent food. I think we at lunch here three times? I think one kind of gets tricked into eating here. One starts with a couple beers, then an appetizer, and the next thing you know, you're onto an entree without giving it a second thought. Honestly, I don't think I had anything or tasted anything that was bad. My favorites here are: 1. Poutine: fries, cheese curds, bacon and gravy? that is always a winner. 2. Elote Dip is super good. I'd fight somebody for the last scoop of the dip. 3. the Pretzels are good. Love the cheese sauce....I would ask for mustard too, but that is just me. 4. Pimento Cheeseburger is a favorite like the little bit of kick it offers with the Jalapenos, and it was made medium rare for me to boot I did try a bit of the Wild Rice burger. It was OK, non-meat options are not my gig for a burger. the person who ordered this, truly enjoyed it. I also want to mention the their beer is fresh, well-made, and there is usually a taproom only beer available. I have missed it the last few years but, they had a barleywine that was outstanding. I hope that comes back. If you're in Duluth it is totally worth the stop. Eat some food, drink some beers, buy some merch and support this local treasure.

We came in for an early dinner and so did every other family and kids. The vibe is very family friendly, sort of old timey and casual. It was packed, but we were able to get a table without too much waiting. We ordered pizza and some wings (wings upon recommendation from the server). The wings were pretty darn good and the pizza was pretty good, too. The kids ate, everyone ate, and it did not cost an arm and a leg, either.

First and foremost I want to say our bartender/server was great. He was friendly, and timely servicing us. Not an easy task if you are managing tables and running the bar fulfilling orders for the other servers, and managing his customers sitting at the bar. So appreciate his efforts. The food? Well, that was a disappointment. We ordered some wings, and a Margherita Pizza. First, the wings were soggy limp pieces of meat, and the sauce we chose was not cooked enough to remove some of the moisture so it would cling to the wings. The saving grace was we were quite hungry so we powered through that mess. Secondly, the pizza we received...that was an utter disappointment. Not sure what Green Mill calls for a Margherita pizza, but that is not what one should taste or look like. There was no basil on this pizza, unless you call the dried herbs sprinkled on it "basil", This was a garlic bomb - it was just so overwhelming, and I LOVE garlic. Lastly there was just too much cheese and olive oil. it was so greasy! We befriended some other folks, and they politely declined an offer of a slice of pizza, because we were not going to eat anymore after the first slice. I might stop in again, but I would NEVER order that pizza again, nor the wings.
