If I could give them a zero, I would. They stopped us right at the door and said we needed masks on to be seated. However, they don't provide them or sell them and there's not any sign outside that indicates anything other than social distancing. They told us to go down to a competing restaurant and purchase a couple. We came back (not the smartest decision I ever made), Then they allowed us to seat ourselves about 4 feet from the hostess stand which all kinds of people touched without them sanitizing a thing. Their windows are filthy including the main entrance door and seating area. The main entrance door is completely covered in smudges from dirty fingers, not once since our 45 min stay has anything been cleaned or sanitized! The bathrooms are in complete disarray. Ordered a BBQ bacon cheese burger with fries for delivery. The food was great, but the portion size of the french fries was absolutely TINY. There were literally about 15 french fries. There's no reason to be so skimpy on the fries, when they make up half of the meal. This has always been a problem when I order from them. read more

Had a late lunch a couple of weeks ago and the food was fine and service was OK, except one order was not correct. I ordered a Panini, which was more similar to a toasted sandwich, without the typical marks and pressed look - tasted OK, so maybe just a different Panini maker than I'm used to. I also got sweet potato tots, which were pretty good. My wife got the 1/2 chicken avocado salad, however she'd actually ordered the chicken and apple walnut salad. She'd taken a bite or two when she realized it and she was OK with the slightly different offering, so we didn't bring it up to the wait staff. It was OK, with a lot of avocado and some mix of greens. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. The dining area is a bit worn down and is probably about due for some updating. Service was fine (except for the salad misstep) and we got our food pretty quickly. read more

Server was great! Attentive and honest. Not complaints there. However, about 15 minutes after I ordered a veggie burger, I was told that they were completely out. That was disappointing. I ordered some apps instead. While tasty, the portions seemed really small. In retrospect, I think my beer should have been comped for the veggie burger inconvenience. His poise during times of adversity are justifiably the best in the game. I once saw this man sing Old Chicago's rendition of "Happy Birthday" simultaneously serving a family of 6 with eight-count um EIGHT pub pizzas. The feat is known as "The double-double" which was coined by the only other man to complete this task, Paul F. Chicago. I just ask the gods to grant us more men like Ben, not only in the serving field, but in the military. I could sleep easy knowing men like Ben Fall are keeping our sacred land safe. We came in and asked for a table for 2. We were informed there would be a 20 min wait. We agreed and sat down to wait. 45 minutes goes by. The 3 hostesses stand up front, talk amongst themselves, and pet their hair. A large party leaves and we are informed a table will be cleaned for us. After 10 more minutes, we're walked upstairs to be sat. 10 more minutes go by without a server acknowledging us at our table. Stood up and walked out (unnoticed). Hard to miss as we stayed in The Suites next door, which is why it has been the obvious - easy - choice on numerous occasions. Service was good on most visits, with one notable exception where we were basically made to leave in the middle of (a mediocre tasting) dessert. We were asked repeatedly whether we are done yet, to which we politely declared that we intended to stay for a couple drinks. They brought the check anyway, while we were still eating, without further comment. For no apparent reason. That said, no hard feelings, it is nice that they are open late, and the ale crust pizza is decent enough to be washed down with a pint or two. read more

My husband has had a craving for a calzone for a few weeks so we stopped in here at about 8 on a Friday evening. There was no wait and we ordered the Bavarian pretzel appetizer to start, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Dinner wasn't far behind - a "Meat Me" calzone for him, and create-your-own Mac and cheese for me, with chicken, garlic, bacon, tomatoes, and beer cheese sauce. The Mac and cheese entree skimped on both the pasta and chicken, but was very tasty. The calzone was exactly what we had hoped for - big, full of toppings, and encased in a soft dough cooked to perfection. After tax and tip we spent about $40, which will make this place more of a splurge than a regular stop, but we do look forward to returning. read more

Our pizza was cold and did not appear to even have been cooked all the way and had thick chucks of cheese just laying across the top, not even melted. Amazing food and wonderful customer service. We ordered two pizzas and one came out a little bubbled up with the toppings shifted to the middle. Still totally edible, but a little weird looking. I have not been to an Old Chicago scene my days at K-State! Let me start out by raving about how amazing the service is and always has been at Old Chicago. Our server was nice enough to take us to our table even though the rest of our party had not shown up yet. She explained the menu and specials and brought us our drinks and an appetizer while we waited for the rest of our party to show up. After the rest of our party arrived, she still gave them the same amount of attention that she gave to us. She helped us all choose a pizza that we could all agree on and explained all of the different sauce options to us. Having her was more like having a personal menu consultant at our table then a server. At the end of our meal she even signed us up for an awesome rewards program that we could start taking advantage of the next time we come to eat. I was very impressed with the inside of this place. They have arcade games for the kids and a awesome beer selection for the adults. This is a perfect family dining spot. They also have trivia and feature some sporting events on the tv's too. The food tasted amazingly fresh, We ended up ordering the double Deckeroni and a plate of mixed flavored wings for all of us to share. The pizza was super fresh and it wasn't long before it came to our table. The sauce actually had a slight kick to which I found pretty interesting. One large pizza was actually enough to feed about four people and we went home feeling pleasantly stuffed. I will defiantly be back to try other things. The OC is the typical chain-sit-down pizza place. The food is average to good. The service is average. It's a big space but stays fairly busy. Old Chicago is a great family place. The server's are nice, the place is clean and the menu is varied, yet most items are similar, if that makes any sense. They have the taco Bell thing going on- 10 ingredients, shuffled into different shapes and sizes. Pizza, Calzone and Stromboli- all the same, different presentation- yet all good. My son loved the Italian Nachos. He proclaimed them the best nachos he's ever had. A real treat for him since he's allergic to corn and can't normally eat too many mexican nachos. I stopped in the Old Chicago in Duluth for late-night munchies and some beer. They had 36 Taps to choose from I had the Bell's Two Hearted pint. I also had the jerk wings.
