My earlier review had an incorrect spelling of you're. If you're driving on I-94 near the Illinois Wisconsin border, this is a good on and off choice. Standard Culver's but they are bilingual. Often very busy but they seem to handle it better now.

This Culvers is located off an exit in Wisconsin so we stopped for a quick lunch. They were busy but they kept the lines moving and because they are known for making their things fresh to order there was a wait time and we dined in. When we got our food, a few kids meals, butterburger, cheesecurds and fries. Everything came out right but was slightly disappointed in the butterburger. It was smashed and put together semi sloppy. Other than that Everything was good. Staff was friendly and the place was clean so all was good.

Love how Culver's makes it your way. I always prefer an unbuttered bun burger With the works, and this is the place! A wonderful tribute to the POW's and the children's of our military artwork displayed so proudly and beautifully. Staff is very patient and helpful when you don't frequent and need a minute to figure out your order the place was packed and now I see why. Clean, delicious and fresh.

This place seriously needs everything to make it "okay". I went through the drive-thru and asked if they had any fish without a bun. While the girl was eating food spilling it out of her face she said no, and that I needed to back up and place an order. In the meantime I went to the next window which said there was "dinner option" okay let me get that. Then gave me a sticker to put on my car window. They cam out after about 5 minutes. The guy was really nice. I opened the bag and it was on a bun. WTAF???? Stop and go inside. Talked to Annie. She was very helpful. Got the order straightened out- and 6$ and some more. However I was on my lunch break. Lunch is only a 20 minute break as I only work part time. The "dinner was the greasiest food I've ever had. Took a bite -and stopped. First time ever a place may have a vendetta. They all seemed in cahoots with the girl spewing food out of her face. Threw of my food minus the drink.

Great use of my lunch break, in the worst drive-thru in the state.

What an awful experience. Horribly long wait times, low quality food, confusing and poorly-marked drive-thru, ignorant employees. Multiple lanes of cars stuck for 20 minutes at a time inching forward as multiple employees wander the parking lot with cold bags of food. This location is ALWAYS a mess and it's ALWAYS busy and there are ALWAYS customers.. If you're located next to the busiest shopping center in the county, use some of your revenue and expand and make your drive thru practical! How disrespectful to your clientele to have the same unorganized mess for years on end. Skip this one and go to the Culver's by Mars Cheese or south to the one off 41 in Waukegan. This place sucks.

It was my first time at a Culver's. I did see them at many locations in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. We decided to stop by this location, since it was close to the Pleasant Prairie Outlet Mall and Jelly Belly Candy Company. They're known for their frozen custard and what better place to experience it than Wisconsin, home of dairy. The prices were really reasonable and they had a good selection of menu items. I ordered the butterfly shrimp and the hubby got the butterburger. We also tried two of their concrete mixers and the Wisconsin cheese curds. The shrimp and burger was good. The concrete mixers were way too sweet. It could have been because of all the candy toppings we put in it. It would have been better just to add fruits and nuts. My favorite was the cheese curds. They were delicious. It's made from un-aged yellow and white cheddar cheese sourced locally from a family owned dairy in Wisconsin. It was perfect with the ranch dipping sauce. Culver's also has its own brand of root beer. I had to try it and loved it. It's almost like A&W, but more on the sweeter side. I wish that they'd bottle it and sell it in stores.

Slow AF just look at the other reviews. We're not all wrong! It doesn't help that any time I've been to a Culver's I've gotten sick.

Robert is the slowest and worst cashier I have seen in my whole life. He was rude and arrogant. Very upset with my experience!

The Garage - The Garage Burger and Tetris Tots!

Our burger club always ventures a little further out during Thanksgiving and the summer when our…read moreschedules are a little lighter, so in 2025, we ventured out to Kenosha for The Garage. It was a weeknight, but the street we were driving up to get here was a little dark and run down. But don't let that deter you. They have a nice sized parking lot for their location. Then we walked inside and found a narrow room with a bar running the length of one long wall and counter height tables and chairs perpendicular to the opposite wall. They really jammed in as much as they could in the space that they have. The ambience was dark and moody. They were playing hard rock and the bar had a couple of regulars sitting inside. At the end of the bar at the far end, was a cubicle of a kitchen. That's where the magic happens. Their menu is simple: appetizers, burgers, and build your own burgers. That's it. We all built our own burgers and they have a LOT of options. However, the build your own may start at $9, but each topping adds to the cost. But who cares? The burgers were phenomenal! Their website clearly states, "Best burgers, ever." And they're not wrong. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and delicious. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. And everything is made in this tiny area at the end of the bar. We were the only people in the place after about 20 minutes, but again, who cares. The staff were extremely friendly. Their playful banter and bickering when they cleaned up was hilarious to listen to, and they were lovely to talk to as well. One of our group wanted to pick up some Spotted Cow beer (you can't get it in Illinois) and asked about a place to get it nearby. They suggested Shenanigan's with a drive-through just a couple blocks away. We have to make another trek back. They are awesome and their burgers are great, too!

We got a table right at the main entrance and we were served promptly and pleasantly. I got help with ordering, which can be common for first timers, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. They have a nice tap list so getting a cold, refreshing beer was a must! My one critique if you will, the fries were limp.. not soggy but definitely not crispy. I didn't even bother finishing them, but the burger was filling enough that it didn't matter much. If I am in the area, I would stop here again and try a different burger, because they all looked so dang good!!

The only parking option I saw was on the street. Inside it's attractive with its own nautical character. Its food menu is burger centric and is kind of complicated to figure out. You complete a form that itemizes the kind of burger, fries, etc that you want. Even my waitress tried to help me and she got confused. Ha! I finally ordered a bowl of their beer cheese soup to start for $10.45. I then added an 8 oz grass fed beef burger with hand cut fresh fries for another $12.45. Yes, it was more food than I needed but I wanted to try the beer cheese soup which was delivered first with 4 pieces of sourdough bread. The soup was delicious being rich in cheesy flavor with cheese strings and bacon bits on top. It was a full bodied flavor soup and with the bread I could have made a meal of just this. After finishing the soup, the burger and fries appeared. It was a hearty and very good tasting burger on a quality bread bun. Also the fries were very good tasting with a good potato flavor. I couldn't finish it all but I wanted to. With a drink and tax it was about $28 before tip. I'm glad I had lunch here.

My salad was sub par. Spring greens and spinach plopped from a bag with a small smattering of peas and maybe one cut up piece of asparagus and some tiny chunks of a good goat cheese topped with too much crunchy quiñoa and a dressing that was overwhelmingly vinegary. The freshly brewed coffee was nothing special but did keep flowing nicely. The gift shop had so much to browse through. Prices from a couple dollars to $100+ and staff that is helpful but not in your face or pushy in any way I could've asked for a different dressing but again thr salad itself was only ok for the ~$13 price tag

I didn't look around much, we went out to sit on the patio. We ordered the lemonade and blueberry lavender lemonade. Both were really refreshing and I really liked the blueberry flavor in mine. We had the turkey club and the smash burger for our lunches. The turkey club was big, plenty of food for one person. The flavors melded together and when paired with a fruit cup it was amazing. The smash burger was well seasoned, cooked well, and picture perfect. Seriously, usually when you get these things you get sad, wilty lettuce and a small slice of tomato. Not here, the lettuce was vibrant and you could see and taste the tomato. The server we had was super attentive, the food was out surprisingly quickly, and the ambience was perfect for a Sunday afternoon lunch. The price was my favorite part, totally affordable for anyone. Two meals and two drinks less than $40 is a win for me. All in, a solid stop and we will be back. The only reason I didn't give them a fifth star is because even though they have a great selection of items, I didn't see a ton that I personally wanted. They didn't do anything wrong at all.
