Right when you walk in Culver's, you are greeted by friendly staff. The vibes give a bit of diner meets restaurant. It definitely doesn't feel like fast food! My daughter looooved her grilled cheese. My son wasn't a fan of the chicken tenders, and they honestly weren't typical (taste or look). They looooved their ice creams. The fact that this is the scoop that comes with the kids meal is awesome! I love the coupon on the kids meal bag, so neat and cute. My burger was delicious. The signature sauce was an interesting Parmesan sauce, and the other one pictured was a bit weird haha. We couldn't quite figure out the flavors. My strawberry, cheesecake concrete was sooooo good. Only issue is I ordered it with pecans. :( I was hoping they were at the bottom, but I finished the entire thing with no pecans. That's okay though--the flavor more than made up for it. I hadn't been to Culver's in many years but went twice recently. It's always nice to get quality fried fish from a fast food restaurant and they do a pretty good job of it. All the food is pretty good quality and the employees seem on top of things which isn't always a given at fast food restaurants. Some of the favorites are the onion rings, butter burger, and fish dishes. The onion rings are very crispy. Butter burger tastes like a good quality fast food burger. I noticed they add salt on the patty which is a nice touch. They have a big menu and lots of dessert options and customizations which is nice. read more

If I could give this place a million stars I would!! I feel like this is a best kept secret. Culver's did not disappoint this East Coast chick! So living in Dallas good seafood is limited to a few options like crab legs, catfish and shrimp. I was tired of these and wanted something different. I spotted Culver's on my way to my destination and thought that I would give them a try. I ordered the 2 piece cod platter and a Watermelon lemon ice. My goodness the cod was fresh, flaky and delicious. The tarter, cocktail sauce and malt vinegar with a squeeze of lemon took me back to the East Coast. The watermelon ice was amazing!! Definitely worth the drive and the price is decent. Service was quick and the restaurant is clean. Definitely my new favorite DFW spot!! Nice clean spacious resturant with really delicious frozen custard icecream! Its pretty similar to Andys icecream but they serve food here like their burgers. I reccomend trying the burgers, icecream, and fried cheese curds (tastes like mini mozzerella stick balls). Its a little salty but its quite delicious! Also did you know that Culvers has one of the best kids meal deal? You get to choose an entree (highly recommend the cheese burger and add toppings like grilled onions), a drink, fries, and a icecream with one topping for around 7 dollars. The food, service, and restaurant were amazing, as per usual. However, we could clearly hear the manager, that often goes around greeting customers, loudly berating his employees after a mild inconvenience. I overheard the phrase "don't fucking do that again" said to one of the teen aged employees. As a mother of a teenaged daughter, this is unacceptable. Omgggg. It was our first time here and we all thought it was delicious! Just look at that burger...yum! We had burgers, chicken tenders, and the shrimp plate and everything was hot, fresh, and made to order. The restaurant was clean and the customer service was awesome. The lady at the register was so polite and patient, and I really appreciated that, given we hadn't had a chance to look at the menu beforehand and I had to order for myself and three kiddos. I also loved that the kiddos each got a free scoop of custard after dinner and they were able to customize it with a choice of a mix in. It was too cold for a shake or anything of the sort. I asked for bacon on my mushroom Swiss burger & it did not come with it. Burgers were virtually burned to a crisp - there's smashed & then there's what we got. Virtually paper-thin. A burger should not crunch (and I'm not talking about the toppings - the meat was literally crunchy) My wife did not like her burger at all, again, due to the over-cooked result. I'll be honest - I don't think I got "smashburger" from the reviews I looked at or their website. I don't know what makes it a "butter burger," but it leaves absolutely no residual butter flavor. Okay, so they have cheese curds. We got some. They likely had been sitting a bit as they were just warm lumps. They have a design flaw in the dining room layout as the drink area is a bottle neck with not enough room for two people to pass and inevitably there's some pack of wild kids or entitled adult making it darn near impossible to get through. For some reason, diners appear to think this is a place for woolgathering. Lastly, apparently this is also a favorite of families with broods of younglings. Just be warned. Visited Culver's to get their limited time curderburger, a burger with a fried cheese curd patty! I'm so sad it's a limited time menu item, because the curderburger is my favorite. For size and price comparison, their burgers are bigger and cheaper than Shake Shack. On their sides menu, the cheese curds are a must order every time! They're basically mini bite-sized mozzarella sticks. Their onion rings are also another delicious side option. The crinkle cut fries are standard, but you can also ask for them to be extra crispy! Let me start off by saying- I love Culver's, but my experience at this location was not the best. My family and I had the fish dinner, coleslaw, and fries. The fries were not cooked, barely blanched, the coleslaw was so soggy and bubbly which I think was spoiled, and the fish was overly greasy. I was disappointed to say the least. I'm at Culver's right now. The food I ordered was a butterburger with cheese and a side of fries. the taste of the burger was great, a bit greasy but with a garlic taste that makes it work. The fries are crispy with sea salt instead of regular salt. Judging by taste they hold their heat longer compared to regular fries. The restaurant is nearly empty due to coming in right at opening. I recommend this time. The place has music but luckily it's not loud or obnoxious like most restaurants. All in all the service was good. I wanted to like this place but no. I ordered the single butter burger with cheese, cheese curds and plain chili. I was excited about the burger cooked to order but this was just strange. The burger was browned but not like a grilled crispy burger. I don't even know how they did that. The bun was sweet (no!) and toasted on the inside but no crunch. The cheese curds were greasy so the oil wasn't hot enough for proper frying. The chili was okay but the sweetness and the kidney beans were off-putting - no chili flavor, just brown thick hamburger soup. My husband had a Swiss mushroom burger on sourdough.
