    Hair on the burger

There was hair in my burger, absolutely disgusted by this place and the quality of good they are serving. Paid 9 dollars for a hairy burger. Do better.

Very nice staff and location! Shhhhhh!!!! This place is super nice and brand new. Came in for some frozen mixers when we needed a treat and this place did not disappoint. I had a Reese's mixer with whipped cream and my SO had a Heath with marshmallow creme. Both delicious!! Very convenient location and good easy-to-navigate parking lot. Will definitely be back to try more on their menu. If you're up this way, check out this Culver's. Enjoy!

Shayla, Adrienne, and Hayley took good care of us on our road trip from Milwaukee to Chicago. Upbeat workers. Clean restaurant and restrooms. We enjoyed our sundaes. Thank you!

Clean location although it's very busy here. They have a bus boy cleaning tables and literally sweeping the floors and carpet. Multiple registers open to take orders. Food came within 8 minutes. I ordered a veggie burger with onions, tomatoes, and lettuce which contains 580 calories and was very tasty. I also had a garden fresco salad which is 190 calories and contains shredded cheddar cheese, croutons, and tomatoes. Raspberry vinaigrette is very sweet and contains a lot of sugar so be weary of that. Overall great food.

My family and I love coming to this Culver's! We always stop here first on our way through the Illinois-Wisconsin border and specifically make sure to stop at this Culver's. The staff is very nice and friendly to everyone who walks through the door. They even heard me talk about almost having enough scoopie tokens to cash in for one of their plush rewards and just gave it to us! Love having Goldie join the rest of the family alongside Scoopie and Curdis :)

    "Where's the beef". Good question

Worst Culver's we have been. We ordered two pot roast sandwiches what we got were two buns flavored with meat. As you can see from the photos we wasted $ buying a $6 bun. We weighed the meat for each sandwich and both weighed just over 2 ounces of meat. Highway robbery.

    So good I couldn't wait

Love how late this Culver's is open and they always ask what you want on your burger in case you forget.

It was a weeknight, but the street we were driving up to get here was a little dark and run down. But don't let that deter you. They have a nice sized parking lot for their location. Then we walked inside and found a narrow room with a bar running the length of one long wall and counter height tables and chairs perpendicular to the opposite wall. They really jammed in as much as they could in the space that they have. The ambience was dark and moody. They were playing hard rock and the bar had a couple of regulars sitting inside. At the end of the bar at the far end, was a cubicle of a kitchen. That's where the magic happens. Their menu is simple: appetizers, burgers, and build your own burgers. That's it. We all built our own burgers and they have a LOT of options. However, the build your own may start at $9, but each topping adds to the cost. But who cares? The burgers were phenomenal! Their website clearly states, "Best burgers, ever." And they're not wrong. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and delicious. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. And everything is made in this tiny area at the end of the bar. We were the only people in the place after about 20 minutes, but again, who cares. The staff were extremely friendly. Their playful banter and bickering when they cleaned up was hilarious to listen to, and they were lovely to talk to as well. One of our group wanted to pick up some Spotted Cow beer (you can't get it in Illinois) and asked about a place to get it nearby. They suggested Shenanigan's with a drive-through just a couple blocks away. We have to make another trek back. They are awesome and their burgers are great, too!

However, you can also drive North, into Wisconsin, which is just 40 minutes North. We like to shop at Pleasant Prairie Outlet and after shopping for about five (5) hours, you will get really hungry. Hence, we almost always visit Tenuta's because there isn't quite anything like it by me. But that's a different review... I say all that to say, after getting Italian meatballs, cookies, and Cannolis from Tenuta's, you will immediately notice Ron's Place, right across the street!! They have a local and dedicated following. Yes, you will see Green Bay Packers decorations and people in Packers clothing, gasp!! But!! Their burgers are incredible and so are the cheese curds. They are also known for their Long Island teas but it's kinda early for me when I come here. Check out my pics - I always get the cheese curds, chicken strips, I've switched it up from time to time with my burger selection. Today, we got the extreme burger and it's definitely shareable, it's a gigantic double patty cheeseburger (I selected American cheese). Great service, cool & local Vibes, diners are usually talking shop, the people sitting next to you will be catching up and talkin about Jack and Diane. You can look directly into the open kitchen and see them preparing the great plates of food. Look at the pics on the wall and you will see a pic of McMahon in Packer uniform - the Packers won the Super Bowl that year...sigh...

The bar is a tad small so it can get busy in there pretty quickly. We got a table right at the main entrance and we were served promptly and pleasantly. I got help with ordering, which can be common for first timers, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. They have a nice tap list so getting a cold, refreshing beer was a must! My one critique if you will, the fries were limp.. not soggy but definitely not crispy. I didn't even bother finishing them, but the burger was filling enough that it didn't matter much. If I am in the area, I would stop here again and try a different burger, because they all looked so dang good!!

The only parking option I saw was on the street. Inside it's attractive with its own nautical character. Its food menu is burger centric and is kind of complicated to figure out. You complete a form that itemizes the kind of burger, fries, etc that you want. Even my waitress tried to help me and she got confused. Ha! I finally ordered a bowl of their beer cheese soup to start for $10.45. I then added an 8 oz grass fed beef burger with hand cut fresh fries for another $12.45. Yes, it was more food than I needed but I wanted to try the beer cheese soup which was delivered first with 4 pieces of sourdough bread. The soup was delicious being rich in cheesy flavor with cheese strings and bacon bits on top. It was a full bodied flavor soup and with the bread I could have made a meal of just this. After finishing the soup, the burger and fries appeared. It was a hearty and very good tasting burger on a quality bread bun. Also the fries were very good tasting with a good potato flavor. I couldn't finish it all but I wanted to. With a drink and tax it was about $28 before tip. I'm glad I had lunch here.
