The owner is also very nice and clearly involved, which I think is cool. I almost always order the same thing: the chicken strip meal, which comes with three huge strips and a large side of fries. The chicken here is really interesting because it's marinated in pickle brine. You can definitely taste the brine, and it adds something you didn't even realize was missing. My wife used to order the same thing, but now she tries something different each time because she knows she can share my strips. Everything she has tried has been good. Also worth mentioning: they have really good ranch dressing. I was surprised when I looked up Crafty Cow on Yelp and saw that it had less than four stars. Looking at some of the older reviews, I'm guessing it may have had a bit of a rocky start. But based on our experiences, Crafty Cow has been consistently great, and we'll definitely keep coming back.

Mugshotz is definitely bar first, grill second. There were only four tables outside the bar area and the bar area was packed and loud. I didn't see anyone waiting tables for the first 20 minutes I was there, but once we were waited on and they did an ok job checking in. Food took a little longer than expected given how few tables they had, but I assume the kitchen is just as small.
