I've been here twice - for ice cream only, so I can't speak for the food - but they have a pretty big menu board. As for ice cream, I would say that they are pretty average. I had the Flavor of the day - Pecan Turtle. Interestingly they used the "hard" chocolate (the stuff that gets hard as it cools) instead of chocolate fudge. After a couple of minutes, all the chocolate at the bottom was hard and stuck to the cup. Can't say this place would replace DQ, but it's okay in a pinch. read more

So the fish is amazing for fast food...Burgers are good too.. You really don't have to subject yourself to Burger King ( do they ever clean the grill?) or Mickey D's when you can get a great burger at Culver's. Then there's the ice cream which is awesome...Keeps me from going to DQ and getting stuck in a car behind the indecisive family who takes 20 minutes to order 3 blizzards. Great food, generally speaking, but management places a brain-dead boy outside to take the order (presumably to expedite things) , and not only is he so slow he'd have to speed up to stop, but he is incompetent and rude to boot. Presumably, you want to increase business, but it's definitely costing you business! Myself and two other cars left the line and drove off. It's so unsanitary when you see an employee behind the counter take off his culver cap, lay it on the counter where there's food, take his hair down from a ponytail and fluff it out only to put it back up again. I am so disappointed with this location. I come here often because of where I live. Most of the time I order online because I have a toddler and it is easier. 9/10 times I end up waiting 15 minutes AFTER I arrive and twice now I had to call and another time actually wake my child up to go inside and get it. I'm a fan of Culver's in general. It's everything you'd want those other burger places to big especially with it's Midwestern charm and of course their frozen custard! This location, at least from my last visit, was even better than typical. This time I tried a chicken breast sandwich withe fries and coleslaw. As always, the cashier was friendly and helpful. I asked if the sandwich was good and I got an answer immediately with no hesitation- I feel like if you hesitate you're lying to me. I got my order number and sat down. It felt like immediately I had my food. The chicken was thin and juicy and lightly breaded. The crinkle fries were A+ and the coleslaw was nice and sweet. What I noticed that shook me was that they had employees hand scrubbing the underneaths of the table! They were deep cleaning at 11:30am!! I was honestly floored by this. I don't think I've ever seen anyone in another fast food restaurant do anything other than mopping! Culver's to me is at the top of the food chain when it comes to all aspect of food, service, and everything else you'd want for in a restaurant! Their game is strong. Don't get to visit Culver's very often. I however do enjoy their burgers and the fast service. You order get a number and sit down and wait a short time for the food. It seems to me the food is made to order and not stored on a heat self. Not to steal a line from another chain but you do get to have your burger your way. Mine came out exactly how i ordered it. Everything no tomato. Their fries are crinkle cut fries and were served warm not hot which was fine with me. Over all I like this place and the prices more than some other up scale burger places. read more

My Wife and I have been wanting to go to Culver's for some time now. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The staff reminded me of an episode from The Walking Dead. Nobody seemed happy to be there. The staff didn't smile and they were borderline rude. It was not a comfortable environment to dine in. We had two burgers and split a fish sandwich. The burger patties were thin over pressed and over cooked. The quality of fish was very good. The ingredients of the food seemed fresh and the buns were delicious. This is always a super clean restaurant and the workers are friendly! My Dad loved the concretes and sundaes, so that had me swinging by quite often when visiting him. Also a great place to pick up salads and burgers. They often have good coupons in the mailers and newspapers. We did a bogo on cheeseburgers and they were awesome. read more

HOWEVER, IF the burger was exceptional, we would possibly go back. It was not. It wasn't horrible just average. The fries were good. But so are McDonalds! Yummy spot for a quick bite to eat. This location was open late while we had our road trip from Bradenton to Miami. It was my first time having Culver's. I was looking to compare it to my favorite burger spot in n out and their competitor WHATABURGER. I would have to say it is better than WHATABURGER but not in n out. It is a close second however and I see myself coming back for their mushroom cheese butter burger. I love how they have a sweet potato option for fries. Went here last night to give them another try. The drive thru lady was a bit harsh in her speaking but served me well. The double burgers were huge, but again, the beef wasn't that great tasting, just like any beef burger. And, they just put plain mayo on it, perhaps it would be better with a unique sauce. I think I'll just stick to their frozen custard. read more

I have not been a fast food restaurant in over 20 years...and this has the fast food look, but OMGoodness, it was awesome. We stopped because the drive through line was backed up 15+ cars. We were hungry and it was this place or the Irish Pub in the parking lot. We opted for Culvers. You order up front like a fast food place, but the menu is extensive and things are made to order. They give you a number and bring the order to your table. My husband has to have the butter burger even though he hasn't had beef in years. He ENJOYED it. He said the party was thin and cooked perfectly. I ordered the festive strawberry salad. I'm a very picky vegetarian and I don't usually like fruit in my salad, but this was GOOD. I'm so glad that we stopped by. There was a mistake....mine or theirs, not sure but my salad came with a roasted chicken breast....I don't eat meat. My husband went up and ordered the same salad but no meat please. He said he would take the one at our table home with us but would like to order a new one for me to have now. They gave him the salad at no charge. He said "seriously it's ok, I will eat that tonight"...NO CHARGE. That is what you call customer service!!!! We knew we could leave without trying the FROZEN CUSTARD. That's worth a trip in itself. Great place to eat, clean, convenient location and great service! read more

Food was ok. Staff was kids who were not paying attention to their customer. 3 girls were at the counter joking. The one who took my order couldn't answer the simplest question about the menu. As I'm asking about a particular item she decides to ring it up. I simply asked a question about it. Comprehension was off. First let me say that I love fast food burgers. That includes McDonalds Burger King etc Culvers though is head and shoulders above any chain serving quick burgers. They call them butter burgers and they are out of this world. The hamburgers are fresh and look to be a hand patty not squared off and frozen like you find with the other chains. My favorite is mushroom and swiss. Sauteed mushrooms and melted swiss. They also have pretty good fries, not as good as McDonalds but better than most others. They also serve delicious onion rings and the fresh yogurt shakes with fresh mixed in fruit if you choose is also something you never see elsewhere. I only wish they open in my New England. read more

Walked into the store to get ice cream for four of us on the evening of the 13th. It was FILLED with teenagers-not one of them wearing a mask! They were all over the restaurant, in and out the doors clustering in large groups. We are from the Chicago area part of the year, where all the stores require customers to wear masks. I felt it was very unfair and unsafe for the employees! We will never go back to this restaurant. The owner James Lawler should be very concerned about the safety and health of his employees but he obviously is not. read more

Welp, got the Bacon Deluxe was bone dry, like the burger had been done for a long while, not really sure if there was even bacon on it now that I think about it. Wife ordered the Swiss melt, was greasy as all greasy, so I guess we got both ends of the spectrum in one sitting. For the money Wendy's is a much better choice. read more
