I would not go during lunch, you will not get to eat. I went during my 1 hrs lunch. This place was 5 mins from my office. I ordered about 5 minutes after I walked in ans waited 45 minutes to get my sandwich. By the time I got back from lunch I did not even have time to eat. They need a better flow and more people. Firehouse Subs Pine Island Rd 5-21-24: I get hungry for Pastrami occasionally and I know Firehouse Subs makes that in a 3 different size subs. We got there about 12ish and they were not too busy. This place was very clean and neatly laid out. Once at the counter I ordered a medium Pastrami double meat fully involved sub. Now fully involved includes Mayo, Deli Mustard, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, and a Dill pickle on the side. A Small sub is 3-4 inches a Medium is 8 inches and Large is 12 inches. I love their Deli mustard on my sub, and I like my sub heated. Once I got my sub it looked good and most of the items looked fresh. My sub was very good and warm and plenty of meat and all the rest of the items filled out the rest of the sub. My wife's cold Roast Beef and Swiss combo which came with a drink and chips was very good also. You must get your own drink from the fountain and chips are on a shelf so you can pick what you want. We chose to eat inside and not take it out. They also have gluten free buns available. You pay a little more for these subs, but I believe they are worth it. Rude and incompetent Customer service. I came in and was given a simple greeting and I let one of the chicks know I had arrived and the name of my order and she rudely told me to hold on. She finished packing a different order and proceeded to leave me standing there, washed her hands, watched me While she went to go get herself a new drink, nobody was out in the front. A young man was mopping and asked if I had been helped and I let him know I was still waiting. The girls stormed over and apparently were starting the sand which. I am sorry to share this location was filthy. I find it interesting, they have changed their service procedures to pack everything to go due to covid yet their tables, chairs are filthy. We watched a young girl go around, squirt some stuff on a soiled towel and wipe tops of tables only. No chairs, sides of tables, and no sweeping. The idea of packing all to go just waste materials and causes more profit loss to franchisee or brand. They need to review the delivery of their service. Not to mention, today's sandwich makers were poor. Cold sandwich, and not made right. The runner looked like it had not been swept for days. this was my first time visiting firehouse, so I was very particular in my ordering. I asked lots of questions to clarify, so that I would be sure to get it right. Finally, I just said I would like meat, cheese and mayonnaise only they sprinkled oregano all over my sandwich, which I detest, when I ask the lady, how could I have avoided that she said I would have to specifically say no oregano because that's just normal on every order. I think when you say only meat cheese, mayonnaise, that pretty much implies that you don't want oregano doesn't it. incompetence. I am not a huge sandwich person. I typically will just make my own. My boyfriend couldn't stop talking about his Firehouse Sub he got so decided to try it today for lunch. It was clean, fast, extremely friendly cashier, and good food. Got the medium Italian and it was delicious. Ate the entire thing. UPDATE: I still stop in here from time to time for lunch and still always pleased. Super friendly staff that works hard and gets your food out to you quickly. Food always tastes super fresh and delicious. The only downside to this location is the parking. Delicious subs! Best sandwich chain in town! My wife and stopped here to grab a late lunch while out looking for homes. The staff greeted us when we walked in with a big, "Welcome to Firehouse!" We split a Firehouse Hero Combo #9. We got it fully involved (that means with all the toppings) and even added a brownie (delicious). The guy behind the counter realized we were sharing so he put the two halves of our sandwich in separate baskets and brought them to our table. Although we didn't partake in the hot sauce bar because I don't generally add hot sauce to my sandwich, they seem to have every variety imaginable. Restaurant was very clean. read more

I arrived at this location today a Friday which is usually a busy day for restaurants at lunch ordered my food from a LESS than friendly guy/girl (I couldn't tell) the person never made eye contact just took my very simple order showed me a board with pictures of condiments and asked if I wanted all of them. We happen to stumble across this place as we came out of bed bath & beyond to get an air freshener for our stinky rental car (we are from NY). We were sincerely greeted by almost every employee in the store, it was very nice. So being from NY where we are known for good bread, this place was Awesome! This is by far my favorite sub chain in the states. I usually go for the beef and cheddar brisket but all the options are great. The prices are high but the quality of food is much higher than a Subway or Jimmy John's. The staff is always friendly and ready to greet you as you come in. The soda machines are awesome. We've always loved this place. Ample filling in subs, hot and fresh. However, yesterday was a real letdown. After ordering two New York subs to go, my wait was about 20 minutes. I didn't mind the wait, being it was 5:30pm, beginning of dinnertime rush. Once at home, we unwrapped our subs to find less than ample meat, and barely warm. How disappointing!
