Stopped here for lunch. Wanted something cheaper but filling so I got the 4 piece chicken strips and their Signature Sauce. The sauce was every bit as good as Raising Cain's imo and my chicken was hot and fresh. These tenders are breaded in a panko style breading and the texture of the "white meat" inside was very mushy and mealy. Kind of off-putting to be honest. Chicken tasted very processed and although I could see the grain of the chicken inside, it didn't feel like white meat chicken in my mouth. Most likely would not order this again. read more

She walked me through my order and brought it out promptly: if dine in service is anything like drive through, this would be one of the best Culver's. Just as I predicted, it has gotten worse! When locally run businesses sell to other owners that have nothing invested, or aren't present, that's what you get. Location: Culver's in Crawfordsville Indiana. Located at a busy intersection boarding the entrance to the small town's Walmart. Good location, decent enough parking. Clean and nice interior mimics most other Culver locations. Maybe a bit cold, but perfectly fine for the ice cream based menu! Menu: The menu has not changed much over the past couple of years. This actually says a lot about how great of a job they are doing. Great menu items and great options from grandparents to children, all will enjoy! Prices are on par and seemingly haven't changed much, but there are some changes! (See pictures and meal.) Service: The table service is better than expected and better than almost all others. Car service has you wait in line with a number on your car as they cook your order fresh! I honestly don't know if this is really fast - food or sit down speeds, it's in between and that is perfectly where this eatery service should be. Fast and easy, yet also good for sitting and spending time with family over meals, and or ice cream desserts! Meal: The meal itself was ok. I had a melt basket, which is a butter - burger melted with cheese, onions, etc. First note is that when they say Butter- Burger they mean it. The taste is second to none! But, it is greasy. The toast used as the bun was nearly soaked through. French fries are serviceable, but not the high point of the meal. Their onion rings and cheese curds ARE taking the center stage on this one. I will have to knock them for slimming down the meat on the meal. It's possibly the thinnest burger patty. Outside of toast, cheese and onion, I could not even taste the burger. Simply not enough. They did give me the option of a second patty, but perhaps they should mention that it's needed from the start! Overall: A solid 7.5/10. They lose a point for the thickness of the beef patty, and a bit more for the less than awesome French fries. While I understand that COVID and supply lines area making things very hard, that doesn't mean you can't communicate to customers. I don't review a lot of chains/fast food places, but making an exception for this awesome Culver's. Stopped here on the way to Southern Indiana on 231. Needed an ice cream cone to get me the rest of the way home. What makes this Culver's exceptional? THE STAFF! Super friendly young man at the counter. His co-worker was scooping my cone and getting my partners Italian Ice ready before we had even finished paying the counter guy. The ice cream at Culver's is SO good. It is fresh and delicious. I had the flavor of the day, it was peanut butter cup and it was great. The cone was super fresh too. You can tell they sell a lot of cones because they obviously do not sit around long. My partner loved her Italian ice too. Five stars. Stop here anytime you are in the vicinity. read more

Two weeks in a row we tried to dine in, I even called today to make sure the dine in was open. We got there tonight and was closed again. I called Culver's standing outside the locked door and saw people inside the restaurant dining in. They gave me some lame excuse that some crew got off at 5. Who schedules a crew to leave on a Friday night. We are done with the Crawfordsville Culvers, I know the Lebanon Culver's is open for dine in. This place is terribly run. My husband Found a hair hanging out of his sand which and when he pulled that out we were done! Threw it all out. We called in to let them know and Dylan said they would replace the order and we went in today and the father was there and said he would only replace the sandwich that that's all that he could and would do. He wouldn't give us our money back he only offered a coupon for one sandwich. And fought with us when we said Dylan would make it right. It was very embarrassing and frustrating. When we left I called to ask when Dylan would be back in and he wouldn't answer me. Culver's is the only restaurant we have eaten at during the whole pandemic because we have always felt that they are clean and care about there customers but I guess I was wrong. read more

I ordered a large root beer float and asked for an extra cup as per usual for adding root beer. The manager states I have to buy a drink for another 1.82 after I already spent over 20$ for my meal. My parents idea of "eating something different" is Culver's. *le sigh* Anyways, Culvers is A-OK for a slight step up from McDonalds. They have nearly a dozen snackpack meals for less than $4 - sandwich, small fries & small drink. I had the Deluxe snackpack (lettuce tomato onion on a cheeseburger) and it was solidly okay. The burger was hot and the toppings fresh, but the fries were disappointing. No flavor and not really even hot. Dousing them in ketchup helped a bit. The staff was friendly but nothing special. The restaurant is fairly new so looks neat & clean at first, but many of the tables weren't clean at 5:30 with very few customers inside. read more

We are BIG salad eaters. We got chicken salads a few weeks ago and they were pitiful. Soggy and not much to them. We thought it might be a one time thing. WRONG. We tried again and had the same result. Yesterday we stopped in for drinks. I talked my husband into taking home sandwiches for supper. I got a Rueben and he got a fish. Exceptional menu for a fast food joint. Burgers and milkshakes that rival Steak N Shake, Ice cream that rivals Dairy Queen, with additonal entrees that include chicken or fish. Their side dishes are pretty good too. Sweet potatoe fries and cheese curds are delicious! Culver's is the only place in town that I know of to get crinkle cut fries. Those are my favorite type, so I always get fries when I go there (and they're always hot!). Also, they have this AWESOME lid holder thing for your drinks, I can't explain it, you just need to go see it. read more

The only downside to this place, is the revolving door of inexperienced teen employees. The only troubles ive had there were simply just order mixups (and printing receipts with no prices on them...?). But personally, I dont mind so much. Everyones gotta start some where.
