    Turtle Sundae with Bananas
    Richille U.

I went here about a week ago to order food and ice cream. My husband got a fish sandwich meal that he thought was good. I got a crispy chicken sandwich meal that I didn't necessarily care for. The sandwich was plain. It was chopped up lettuce, chicken which was hard, and some pickles. There wasn't any sauce added. We also had desserts. I had a cookies and cream milkshake which was average. It didn't wow me but what did was the turtle sundae (which I added bananas to). My husband ordered an ice cream with cheesecake & Reese's. We got the sundae orders again yesterday (7/16/23) and we decided we will continue to occasionally come here for our ice cream fixes! :)

First time trying a Culver's in years! Not the best location because it's set back off the main road, but it's worth the slight 'inconvenience'. I was pleasantly surprised by my entire experience. Very friendly in the drive through line and at the window. The burger was delicious and fresh. A great meat patty and juicy toppings. French fries were ok, had better but certainly not a reason to not come here. The salty Carmel cement mixer was really good, but the medium is almost too much. Great experience and value. I recommend it!

    Cheese butter burger

Had lunch here the other day with some friends. The place wasn't very busy since we came in mid afternoon. We all go burgers. Two cheese butter burgers and one mushroom Swiss burger. I asked what makes them butter burgers and the lady told me it was because they brush the top of the bun with butter. We also got some fried cheese curds with ranch dipping sauce. Our burgers all had nice fresh buns and fresh toppings. The meat Pattie's were pressed thin as paper with crispy edges. I particularly did not like the crispy part of the meat but my friends liked it. My one pet peeve is when workers start sweeping up the floor beside you as you are trying to eat. Well it happened here. We need to come back and try the ice cream. Would definitely recommend this nice clean place to eat.

If you are interested what compares to a Freddy's or steak and shake, Culvers is a great comparison. Out of the 3, I would day Culvers is the second best. Smash burgers with crisp, fresh vegetables om top! That crisp bacon gives that crunch factor you are looking for. The fries are regular crinkle that come out fresh every time that I've ever had them. The Pretzels were ok. They are frozen it seems as the bread was a little over cooked on them The kids meals come with a free ice cream cone! The custard here is ICE COLD. Love the fresh fruit that you can add to your concretes! Overall, we enjoy going to this Culvers! Especially when it's nice outside and we can take the boys to enjoy the weather and some custarrd!

Newbie alert! I was craving ice cream but this custard worked just fine. Plus I was already in the area and decided to stop. I went on their website to see what they had and ordered. I ordered a pint of Brownie thunder. At least that's what I think it was called. It was vanilla custard w/ caramel and brownie pieces. It was so good OMG! I can't wait to try other flavors.

Delicious concrete! We did vanilla with salted caramel and peanut butter

Clean, fast-ish service, good burgers, great custard. It's a new family favorite. Wish I would've chosen to eat here sooner.

The menu needs much help the employee who helped knew a lot about the business. However he "smart-talked" to me. I didn't appreciate his attitude. The way the burger was wrapped and presentation was good. They forgot to put lettuce on a few of my burgers though. Also, the burgers had too much gristle that it was stuck in my teeth. Very poor quality meat. Considering this is a burger place, not good. On the bright side, the burgers were a good price. I also ordered chicken wings only to find out they didn't have any left. Overall, I probably wouldn't go back.

I will eat here again. Good value for the amount of food we bought.

My first thought when we walked in was that the restaurant must be busy all the time, and the tips good, because they had several servers whizzing around taking care of their customers. Good beer and drinks are a given (several house brews), but the food was amazing. We ordered fried green tomatoes (pimento cheese on top) and roasted brussel sprouts, so we could nibble as we drank. Then for dinner: the prime rib au jus sandwich, the Reuben, the Patty Melt, and the Cletus (Southern through and through). Our Toddler ordered the baked Mac N Cheese (good sized serving and looked delicious--lots of cheese and perfectly browned--and a side of fruit). Everyone was happy!

It was very busy around 12:30 mid-day, but I was seated immediately. There is downstairs and an upstairs that looks over the first floor. They have a huge menu. Lots of pub fare. Beer cheese, nachos, various pizzas (tons of combinations, most with lots of meat, and you can create your own). They also have flatbreads (again, several combos, some veggie, some meaty). Entrees include steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, chicken tenders, salmon, and shrimp tacos. Large selection of sandwiches (turkey, clubs, BLT, reuben, prime rib). And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.

Now it's got so many extra oils and toppings that are extraneous. When you end up mixing them in they don't actually do anything substantial to the flavor profile. I wish they'd yield back with the out of place accoutrements and let the star of the show be their excellent soup. The salad was perfection after some changes! I ordered the Cobb. The grilled chicken had that genuine grilled taste. I had them hold the egg and avocado on the Cobb and sub out the ranch for their house strawberry vinaigrette. Star of the meal! Their house mule cocktail was excellent. Perfectly made, I just wish my lime hadn't been so...dehydrated. My husband has the salmon and the only thing he could say was it was okay but a little dry. Our waitress was very pleasant but very apologetic. We had to wait a good ten minutes before I finally had to get up and go find a high chair. When you have a wiggly two year old and it isn't busy at all it was just inconvenient having to get up and wander around to find one myself while she chatted with the table departing behind us. This was my third visit to Strawberry Alley in the last four years. I would come here again for drinks with friends but probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.
