The fries were cold and mushy, the barbecue sauce somehow ended up with the gyros, and very little seemed organized or thoughtfully prepared. They didn't appear especially busy, which made the whole experience harder to understand. The saving grace was the ribs. These were genuinely good: tender, flavorful, smoky, and the kind of ribs where you keep going back for one more bite even after the rest of the meal has disappointed you. The mobile ordering system asks for a tip. I'm usually very happy to tip, but this was one of those experiences where even the basics of friendly service felt missing. I wanted this to be a great local find. Instead, the ribs were the bright spot in an otherwise pretty cold experience.

We got a number and sat down and waited. When our food arrived, we were short one soda and a side of vinegar and oil. No worries there. I was taken back a little that we were charged 50 cents for water, $2.50 for one slice of Gouda cheese, and 50 cents for an oil and vinegar cup. There is also a 3% charge for using a credit card. The actual food was better before. My combo sandwich was somewhat bland. I remember the hot dog being bigger before. It went from a deli hot dog to a regular sized one. My wife thought the turkey burger was bigger before as well. Overall, I remember it being more flavorful in the past. My potato salad was still very good. The cannoli pieces were outstanding. The place was fairly crowded being Mother's Day, and the service was pretty quick. Turkey burgers take a while to cook. It's always lively but quiet in the restaurant which I like. I hope this was a one time dud experience, and I will be back, unless the cashier has another bad day, and the food is lacking taste.
