NOT RELIABLE We're under a dept of ecology program. Our well water is not safe. A contract was made between the state of Washington Ecology Department and Culligan for safe water delivery. They have failed to make a scheduled delivery for 3 weeks . After having called to question 'why' We were told to expect a delivery on December 19th. We had 6 empty bottles on our porch for exchange. When there again was a no show, I called the office. The driver had reported he had been at our place early that morning and claimed there were no bottles out for exchange. . Either the driver lied, or he did not get out of his truck to look. The company refuses to fix the error. We have no water bottles left. THANKS, CULLIGAN MAN read more

Culligan Water of Spokane has the WORST customer service. We've had them for a few years now, and chose the "auto-pay" function for easier payments. This company does not care about you, nor how they represent themselves. The only positive thing I can say is that the driver, Rick, is a great guy and always a big help. However, that being said, his bosses are anything but friendly or receptive. I was home recovering from chemotherapy just over 6 months ago and called Culligan as I wanted to get a good price locked in and in writing, just in case I didn't survive (Stage 4b Cancer), so my wife would be all taken care of. Our rep from Culligan was a man named Curtis. No matter what I did, I could not get this guy to call me back. I called and left messages requesting that a manager call me back. No attempt to contact me was ever made. I asked our driver to please have Curtis call me, and he did relay the message not once, but actually twice. Even he was befuddled as to why I was being ignored. Curtis didn't call, he actually showed up at my house, unannounced, on a weekend, and with another employee and gave me every excuse in the book. I asked him why he has been ignoring me, and he again ignored that question and went into a sales pitch regarding how he could save me money if I wanted to spent thousands of dollars on a whole house Reverse Osmosis System. I shut him down right there and asked him again why he never attempted to return any of my calls. Curtis then changed tactics and started badmouthing Culligan of Spokane, stating that they overwork him, dont pay him enough, and he hasn't had time to get back to me. They saddled him with Seattle, and Spokane, and he's been overburdened. Well, respectfully, this is not what I want to hear. This is a business arrangement, and I am the loyal customer who has ALWAYS paid my bill on time without question, thanks to "auto-pay." Then, Curtis sends me a text message telling me to call and complain to the managers "Chris or Scott," as it's not right that I was ignored for over a half a year. (screenshot attached to review) I tried calling and asked for a manager. Jenny answered the phone and stated that she would relay the message. So, a few minutes later, a lady named Sue calls and informs me that shes a "supervisor." I was not allowed to speak to a manager, I was informed that this is the way their office works, I had to go through her. They made me a joke of an offer, and I asked them to meet the rest of their competitors prices as a consolation for ignoring me and treating me like a chump. I was being very reasonable. This is where Sue showed her true colors, and was not as nice as she was in the beginning. Culligan Water of Spokane doesn't seem to care about their customers much, only collecting their money every month. Their customer service is essentially non-existent. Just look at the attached portion of a text conversation. Even Curtis admits that I was ignored at their management level. Customer Service can make or break a company. I'm making other arrangements for water delivery now. This is not the first time I've had an issue requesting to speak to a manager either. It's happened twice before, only then I chose to disregard the problem, as other things came up in my life, like Cancer. Best of luck to anyone who does business with Culligan Water of Spokane, as in my experience they simply do not care about their customers. I detest writing bad reviews, but our brand new Culligan Water Softener was installed by their technician on 8/24/20. Three weeks later Mike Brown, both a sales rep and technician, did a salt use check for us. He discovered the softener had not been hooked up to the cold water pipes for the bathrooms and recommended we hire a plumber to have that corrected. I didn't think that was right, that we should have to pay for their mistake. One month later I saw Mike again and kindly suggested Culligan finish the job. He said he'd look into it. Three or so weeks later I called and left a voicemail which he never returned. Except for Thanksgiving week, I began calling about every 10 days. It is now December, and although the last time we spoke he said he'd get back to me either that day or the next, having either the installer finish the job or he would do it himself since he has the tools in the back of his truck. Notta. No word, no call, no communications at all. I left him a voicemail this morning. We are having our bathroom redone next week and really don't want the calcium etc to damage the new hardware. I've been telling him this all along, and now the time has come. I'm really sad it has come to this, but I think 2+ months is long enough. $3,102 and I should have to hire my own plumber? ****UPDATE*** Well, I did indeed report to the BBB, and the next day I got a response. I also got a better number to contact, not the usual Customer Service number, and a few days later the technician (a different one) finished the job. I'm happy giving 1 stars is because the service tech was a good guy and was only doing what this company required....and zero is not an option. I had a simple problem with my water softener not automatically operating. the service call to troubleshoot was $169....the tech found the problem within 5 minutes (that equates to $2028/hr)...it was the flow meter needed to be replaced. A simple part (3 molded plastic pieces that fit together with small metal, brass I think, tips that registered rotation) that took about 5 minutes to install. Total bill $559.75. Total time of service about 30 minute. Outrageous. One thing that was nice was the historical service record for the unit was on the final bill. The bad part was that this unit has undergone many repairs over the years. At this rate of service cost, Culligan water softeners are NOT a good investment. DO NOT BUY!!!!!! Next time the unit fails, we will be shopping for something different. No more repairs. read more

I absolutely DO NOT recommend Culligan! We have had nothing but problems from the very beginning! We installed a $9,000 uranium tank, water filter, and an under sink RO system. The salesman was great, at first....now he won't answer my calls. The install was done in a timely manner and seemed to function well....but the leak sensor was installed wrong and ended up leaking itself and caused $16,000 worth of damage on a home that is less than 6 months old. Their insurance company only wanted to give us $4,000...needless to say it was a battle! Our tanks in the garage had gasket leaks which leaked again, but this time in the garage. I just had our system inspected and the inspection guy didn't turn my water back on so I am out of drinkable water! Oh, and if you have an under sink RO system and you want that water going to the fridge, it costs extra and the installers run a tube down through the floor across the crawl space and up to the fridge...none of that tube is hidden in the insulation under the house. It is completely exposed to freezing temperatures! A tube the diameter of a pencil! When I called with concerns, Culligan representatives stated that it's "not in the contract to put it in the insulation." I could go on & on about this company! Turn and run! if I could rate 0 I would. We have been using Culligan for years for the company I work for and they have been nothing but problems. No call/no showing up for their scheduled appointments with us... we had an issue a few weeks ago where our elevator was down for about an hour (we never know when Culligan is supposed to be coming by since they never call us or answer our phone calls....) and they showed up and realized they couldn't get up the elevator and just left without speaking to anyone around about it. They could have left the jugs of water on the first floor and we could have gotten them up to the 2nd floor when the elevators were working again but they didn't even give us the option. Also, aside from our own issues, I was driving through town the other day, and saw a culligan driver cut off 3 other drivers and almost cause a wreck near a train on Trent. I do not recommend this business. They are careless and just plain rude. They do not care about their customers AT ALL. read more

First off, they have not updated their address on Yelp...they moved to Longfellow. Secondly, if anyone is seriously looking at getting bottle water try Crystal Springs or the store, it's cheaper. Lastly, their business model sucks regarding auto payments and late payment customer notification on stop delivery. I work inside JBLM and get water delivered every month. We get a calendar emailed to us to let us know when water will be delivered. Service used to be great but now it is crap. We don't get water delivered when we are scheduled to. When I call, i always get told that they will call the driver will call them back to see IF he is going to deliver to us. And then he doesn't. I'll get water 2 or 3 days later. No phone call or email to let me know they are not coming. I keep calling every month with the same issue and there is always an excuse. One time, a driver did not have an insurance card when driving and the front gate wouldn't let him in the installation for not having proper items to enter. Another time, the driver told the dispatcher that he could not enter the base because " the Russians attacked" and the base was closed. I'm starting to look for a different water company to provide this service. I don't want to but this is getting ridiculous! Get it together Culligan!!!! read more

Super disappointed that we can't be customers since we live in a second floor apartment. It's funny because I know four people who live in second floor and third floor apartments who get their water delivered by Culligan. I'm wondering why they wouldn't want our business? When asked they said it was against their policy but can't explain why other people can have theirs delivered? This doesn't make much sense. read more

Have a water leak involving the filtration system in well house. Called and asked them to come and fix the leak, they sent a Salesman who seemed only interested in giving me a sales pitch of buying some multi thousand-dollar unit. When I declined asking that they fix the leak they lost complete interest while dragging me along with unfulfilled promises that they would send a tech out after they ordered the parts needed then proceeded with a keystone cop ineptitude 2 week long of excuses. All the while I have the water leak thinking and trusting that I am dealing with a reputable business. So now when I was planning on budgeting a water softener it won't be with these guys. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer Service is horrible, being talked to like a child for simply trying to figure out why a delivery would be skipped for a past due balance of $17.42. A business account, mind you, who spends upwards of $80 a month for going on 2 years now. Susie, I hope someone can work with you on not raising your voice to a customer as if they are your child. I'm not a fan of the taste of Spokane tap water, so culligan came to the rescue! For $3 a month, I have a Culligan machine in my apt. A five gallon water refill is $6, which I go through one every 2 weeks or so. It's nice not to have to go the grocery store to refill gallons of water. The culligan machine has a cold water and a room temp knob, but both are cold. When I get refills, the service is always prompt and they do the lifting for you! No complaints here! read more

Constantly changing delivery date during holiday weeks, and if you miss the drop off.........you won't get service until the next scheduled route. Oh, and if you drive up to drop some empties off on a Monday, dont expect to pick up any, because they done let you do that. They are horrible. read more
