Fast forward to a few years later and I again dropped it hard. This time, the entire back glass was cracked and I thought my phone was a goner. I contacted my provider and because of the damage, they said an upgrade would cost me $850+ all the fees/taxes. The agent actually suggested trying to get it fixed, which I was unaware was possible. I called CIR and they said since the camera lenses were intact, it would be $110. Jose worked on it for me. When I went to pick it up, he explained to me how he fixed it. I showed up with a new case and he put it on for me. Jose is professional, thorough, and is a nice young man. Everyone I have spoken and worked with at CIR provides knowledgeable and courteous service. Thank you for saving me not only hundreds of dollars, but also my data that sometimes doesn't get backed up and under gets lost when upgrading to a new phone. CIR is my go to electronics repair business - highly recommended!

1 Star Extremely…read moredisappointing experience with CIR in Cerritos. I brought my phone in for a battery-related repair. The phone was fully functional when I dropped it off, and I was told there would be a delay because the replacement battery was coming from the East Coast. The repair was delayed for several days with little to no communication or meaningful updates. After receiving the battery, they disassembled my phone and later informed me that the phone was no longer functioning because there was now an issue with the board. I walked into this business with a working phone and left with what amounts to a paperweight. Even worse, I am now unable to retrieve any of the information or data from the phone. Regardless of what they believe caused the board issue, the fact remains that the phone was operational when I turned it over to them and completely nonfunctional after their repair attempt. The lack of communication, extended delays, and the condition in which my phone was returned are unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend CIR Cerritos for phone repairs.

I agreed and said I would come in on the 8th. A few days later, I messaged to reschedule to the 15th. The owner replied on Yelp that it was fine. On the morning of the 15th, I texted my arrival time a few hours in advance, to which he never replied. I arrived at the shop with my laptop, and the employee working said there was no order for me, which was confusing because the owner had been so communicative. He said he would order the part and it would be there later that week and I agreed to come back. I got a text confirmation with my order number and everything. Fast forward a week and a half: silence. Nothing. I replied to the order confirmation text asking if it had arrived, and I don't know if it went through or not, but it's just weird they wouldn't have the part by now or some kind of update. I gave up, bought a kit on Amazon for $35, and installed it myself in 10 minutes. I don't know where this project fell apart, but if the shop didn't want to take it on, they could have declined it. I'm just confused by lack of follow-through because they have so many good reviews, and I thought I had done everything I could, both in person and online, to confirm I wanted the service.

Guy tells me they been checking and that iPad never reset on them at all. I told the guy when I get the problem, and he suddenly just asked me to provide my pin for them to stress test it. How can you say you been checking it when you couldn't even unlock it in the first place? The guy told me to give him 30mins and he'd call me back. 2 days later with no response from them I decided to go retrieve my iPad because of the lack of communication and the scheme of saying they were working on it when it clearly shows they didn't even touch it. When I get it back I asked the guy if they at least checked the battery and told me battery health seemed fine that it was like at 98 percent. I happened to check it myself and it showed it was at 82 percent. The guy tells me they ran their own software to check battery health. Clearly there software need recalibration. Worst experience ever. This place was recommended to me by a family member but they showed their true colors. This place is a total scheme. A simple battery replacement and they turned me down like this. Definitely DO NOT! Recommend this place to anybody.
