The place was packed nearly full on sunday at 6:30. We were seated right away, and our waiter came over after a while. Took our drink order and came back for our meal. She ordered the garden salad with chicken, i oredered the 1/2 rack of ribs, mac n'cheese, fried okra amd texas toast. We both enjoyed our meal, the service was fast. We then ordered a strawberry cobbler that was quite large, and we could not finish it after the meal. Our waiter did an ok job despite the mix-up on our check. It happens. We will return.

Many visits for dine-in, takeout, and catering in recent months. Portions are large, service is friendly, good value, and delicious taste! The love music was an additional treat for entertainment with the singer-guitarist happily taking song requests.

    Texas "toast"

It truly pains me to write this but the downward trajectory reached a tipping point for me... The rib baskets have become so expensive (I know, I know, "not our fault") but that impact on the cusotomers' wallets could be made up for in at least quality... The greens that were once better than grandma's are now shockingly bitter, watery and need a LOT of salt.... The greens have sucked for a while, but today's were especially awful. To try and quickly sop up that bitterness I grabbed my Texas toast and took a bite just as I realized it was just bread... I'm a sucker for the boloney sandwiches and ribs (when they're not too fatty) so I guess I'll be back, but I won't be excited like I used to be........ But hey! At least you have a nice chalkboard full of bougie beer and ciders

The food is great. I love the brisket. The live music can be good. The service can be a hit or miss.

Been here many times. This time not so great. Brisket was rubbery with roast beef taste. Usually is good however.

Brisket point was incredible. The flats was very dry. For the price, I'd expect both to be solid.

We sat upstairs with a group of ladies playing mah jong which was cool to see. The host Gabby was nice, after greeting us we were seated in a booth and began looking at the menu. Our server was Taylor, who was friendly, helpful, and really good at her job. Never needed anything bc she was great! I started with one of their blackberry ciders, my brother got a sour. For an app we ordered a giant pretzel and it was delicious. Whole grain mustard and gooey cheese were served on the side. Hard not to want to eat more than one. For entrees I went with a Reuben with a side of tater tots. The Reuben was tasty, they shred the corned beef up so it's easier to eat, and you get consistent bites every time. Their 1000 island dressing is KILLER. It's definitely homemade and I ordered a side for my tots. Nephew got the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries, and my brother got the Philly cheesesteak with tots as well. Once he tried my suggestion of dipping in the dressing, he got a side as well. The GM Andrew came by and checked on us. Service level is great here, made us feel welcome and happy we were in here. Since I'm technically on the clock I had to head out after two ciders. I could see myself being here for hours, if I'm not careful. Support small owned businesses! Thanks to the team and especially Taylor for a great lunch today/

They do not brew their own beer (aka no beer flights) so not sure why they are called a brewery. This felt more like a restaurant. There were tons of seats, and it was very nice! The outdoor seating is downstairs (no elevator). The drink menu needs descriptions, not just names. The drinks we did have were great (strong & not overpriced). The old-fashioned had regular ice not the large square or ball ice like most old-fashioned. We did send the fish & chips back because the fish wasn't crispy. It was soggy & fishy. We did enjoy the house chips and atmosphere. We would give them another try.

No problem with parking, we got a spot right up front. The menu is pretty great, offering meals as well as biscuit breakfast sandwiches with an array of sides. Beth was at the front, was really helpful and patient with us since we had never been here before. Some quick questions and we were off. It's set up as fast casual. You order at the front, they provide you with a number and then we have the food delivered to our table when it's piping hot. I got the feast plate, which came with: 2 eggs (over easy), country fried steak, hash brown casserole, a biscuit, and a side of gravy. You could choose other options but this worked for me. The meal was really great- gravy wasn't overly salty, and the hash brown casserole was epic. The biscuit seems heavy when you pick it up, but it's light and fluffy inside. Country fried steak was excellent texture on the outside. Like a shell! I saw they have a hot sauce bar, and my family got other stuff- a breakfast burrito, grits, country ham, all delicious. Midway thru the meal they were putting out bottles of bbq sauce for their flip at 11 to bbq offerings. On the table I noted they had a $60 bbq deal with two meats, two quarts of sides. Serves four. Also, they have a program where you can buy a meal for someone who needs it later. There's a tree by the front that holds coupons for people to come and eat when they need it the most. Kindness goes a long way. After the meal I had a quick chat with Nicholas, Beth up front about how great the experience was, and I wanted to thank Fawn for running the food out our way. You can bet I'll be back, not just to try the bbq, but also to have a biscuit breakfast sandwich next time. Support small owned businesses! My apologies about no pics, I saw my food and immediately jumped in to dig in because it was so good looking. Thank you to the team here for a great family breakfast with out of towners.
