Had family visiting from out of town. I've always wanted to try breakfast here because of the biscuits. So this morning we headed out and arrived around ten to get a late breakfast. No problem with parking, we got a spot right up front. The menu is pretty great, offering meals as well as biscuit breakfast sandwiches with an array of sides. Beth was at the front, was really helpful and patient with us since we had never been here before. Some quick questions and we were off. It's set up as fast casual. You order at the front, they provide you with a number and then we have the food delivered to our table when it's piping hot. I got the feast plate, which came with: 2 eggs (over easy), country fried steak, hash brown casserole, a biscuit, and a side of gravy. You could choose other options but this worked for me. The meal was really great- gravy wasn't overly salty, and the hash brown casserole was epic. The biscuit seems heavy when you pick it up, but it's light and fluffy inside. Country fried steak was excellent texture on the outside. Like a shell! I saw they have a hot sauce bar, and my family got other stuff- a breakfast burrito, grits, country ham, all delicious. Midway thru the meal they were putting out bottles of bbq sauce for their flip at 11 to bbq offerings. On the table I noted they had a $60 bbq deal with two meats, two quarts of sides. Serves four. Also, they have a program where you can buy a meal for someone who needs it later. There's a tree by the front that holds coupons for people to come and eat when they need it the most. Kindness goes a long way. After the meal I had a quick chat with Nicholas, Beth up front about how great the experience was, and I wanted to thank Fawn for running the food out our way. You can bet I'll be back, not just to try the bbq, but also to have a biscuit breakfast sandwich next time. Support small owned businesses! We stopped by for a lunch today for my daugters birthday and we're completely blown away. This small little bbq place should be in the same conversations as fox bros and heirloom as best BBQ in Atlanta. My kids who are very particular couldnt stop eating the brisket and burnt ends. Darrin, the owner, even stopped by to wish my daughter a happy birthday and came by with a treat. It was an unforgettable experience and we will be stopping by again next time we're in the area. I have eaten their scrumptious chicken, cheese egg biscuit and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was brought to us and introduced to us by our realtor during our hunt for our new home. Was always excited when she'd bring us one. My husband I always split one but if hungry, one can finished by one person. The biscuits are so moist and flaky. The chicken cooked just right. However the other day I went by myself and treated myself to one and ate it by myself. Enjoyed every bite and nothing had changed. They finally are able to serve bbq and that looked amazing as well. It is a very lovely restaurant and really aids the community in so many ways. It is one place you want to support knowing their money helps so many in need. Its ambiance is definitely casual. There is a drive through with plenty of parking to enjoy your meal inside. The owner does alot of the grilling and cooking. His wife can at times be seen roaming and chatting/thanking customers for coming in. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I'm told the bbq Salmon is truly a treat so I'll need to return soon. Not just Breakfast and Lunch any more. That's right now open for Dinner. BBQ Pork is the real thing, Turkey is well seasoned and very moist. The Sausage link was just spicy enough but stopped short of being too hot. Now on to the sides, Collards were well seasoned and fresh, Bacon Beans by far the leader in the sides contest, but the Sweet Potato casserole and the Mac and Cheese were also excellent. I'll start with the good stuff, the food here is really good and the staff is always courteous and helpful. It's kind of similar to an old, southern "meat and three" (although their lunch plates typically come with just two sides) in that there's nothing fancy about the place or the food, just good, southern standard fixings provided at a reasonable price and served with a smile. I really enjoy their breakfast biscuit sandwiches and for lunch, my favorite is the Monday special, chicken pot pie. Now if you remember this place when it was Fagan's Biscuit Barn, their biscuits were much better back then but they're still really good now. Now for the one really weird thing. The name of this place is Feed The Well BBQ and the biggest font on the logo is the "BBQ" but they offer no barbecue, nothing at all, not even for a daily special... zero bbq offered at the "bbq place". I've always assumed they would add it eventually but they've been open for years now. Back to my earlier point, this is a great place to eat for breakfast or lunch if you like good, basic southern cooking (and who doesn't?). I ordered a breakfast burrito and a kids breakfast to go. I received a soggy burrito that was inedible and tasteless. The salsa was ok. The kids breakfast was terrible, the eggs had no salt and the bacon was soggy. The biscuit was huge but no jelly was included. The juice box that came with the order was left out. Perhaps I picked the wrong dish--the grilled chicken plate. The chicken was overcooked and under-seasoned, and the sides were quite basic. No sauces were offered, which could have added some much-needed flavor. I might give this place another try with a different dish to see if it's a better experience. read more

Ate there for the first time today. Thought it was a chicken and biscuit place, so I ordered chicken. I needed some big lunches as I was feeding two 6'5" guys and my wife and I. I should have gone in and saw what they were about. The girl recommended chicken dinners. We ordered just three, as my wife wasn't hungry, but frankly, there wasn't enough chicken fingers in this lunch's to feed one hungry guy, let alone three. The sides were extremely small as well. The biscuits were just ok, kinda dry. Now I know they do BBQ as well. I want to see what that is like. But if you are trying it for the first time, go in and see what they make great and see the potions they are serving other guests. read more

11:20 am...Stopped in after seeing the "BBQ" sign. NO CUE...!!! They said it would be a month before they had any. (?) OK, so I ordered a cheeseburger all the way with hash brown casserole. Nice bun, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions...but the burger seemed as though it had been. cooked much earlier. The hash brown casserole was in a styro cup where there was plenty of room on the plate. I dug deep and found a chunk of way overcooked cheese skin that I had to cut, with effort, using a knife. That said, they do provide the nicest stainless flatware that rivals any upper-scale restaurant in the area. It was, however, odd eating from a styro cup and plastic plate with such nice utensils...! 1/3 pound burger, side and drink...$16.05 I think I missed what they are really all about when I saw the waitress bring out a "meat and two" plate of Chicken, lima beans and mashed potatoes with a biscuit. I will go back to try that type of meal before I give up on lunch there. I also want to try breakfast, as I think that is their specialty. I like the Christian ambience, not overpowering...but present. I wish them the best...but get the BBQ rolling if your sign says "BBQ". read more
