Regular slice
Lukasz O.

This is a small pizzeria hidden on a side street in the Financial District. I had few regular slices here and the pizza was not bad even late night. Slices are very very thin so if you don't like thin slices you will not like this place. Also these slices have very little cheese and sauce on them unlike the classic NYC pizza. The service was good and got my slices quickly however it was very late and no one else was there.

As far a a NYC pizzeria it is everything you'd expect it to be. The pizzas are perfectly average but cheap, there is indoor seating with some TVs, and the staff is curt but polite. However, the pizza I got looked a little old and tired, but was still perfectly passable.

Pick up or delivery only due to covid. Pizza is amazing, loaded with fresh topping. Crust was thin and crispy, cant go wrong with that combination. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Ordered pick-up through their website, estimated time was on point. Definitely a great spot for a good NY pizza.

All I have try is their Cheese Pizza, not because I am cheap, but because they offer a great deal. Good, tasty pizza. 2 Slices for $5 + Soda, No taxes, No extra fees. Some oregano, some Parmesan cheese and you are good to go. Their pizza is not the Best Best Best One, but the flavor is among the bestSs and the slices are pretty big.

Where this pizza belongs! It's so bad the birds wouldn't eat it.

Absolutely disgusting overpriced pizza! How this place still conducts business is beyond me. I feel liked I just paid $20 for a pie version of Mama Celeste pizza......YUCK!

Very very good salad. You get a good full plate too

Sooooooo I was looking for something to eat and came across this place here. Ordered me a grilled chicken salad. So the lady was like you are gonna like it. And I very much did like it. I seldom eat tomatoes but with this salad I ate them lol. Only thing is red onions would have made it extra good for me. I was really good I wanted to try and take some home but i couldn't and I'm nice and full

Everything was great. The pizza was absolutely delicious and so was the service. Will definitely be back next time in New York City.

As traditional Neapolitan-style pizza is known for its soft, thin dough, puffy, charred crust, the Don Antonio version is well executed. The Regina Margherita with the grape tomatoes melted in my mouth the flavor was sensational. You must try the Pere & Noci salad along with your pizza, it peas, exquisite‼ Giorgia Caporuscio, an acclaimed and world champion pizzaiola who has earned international recognition for her authentic Neapolitan pizza, is behind the beloved Don Antonio restaurant. Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). Lastly, the entire pizza menu is now available gluten-free. With vast offerings, they are ambitious, and every dish is outstanding.

Beautifully pillowy crust with a fiery char, and there's a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity from the tomato and savoriness from the pesto. We were curious about the white pizzas so we tried the norma and that one was nice as well with a lot of textures from the eggplant and tomato. Personally prefer the margarita as it seems to be a more well-rounded pizza and the tomato just can't be missed. It was pretty packed inside when we got there and took the bar seating, so would probably recommend a reservation for larger parties (2+) on evenings. Definitely one of my top neopolitan pizza spots in NYC!

We started with two fabulous drinks: An Espresso Martini and their signature Limoncello Margarita. We shared the Shaved Brussel Sprout Salad and it was fabulous. The bits of bacon, combined with the spiciness of the pepper spices, made this a perfect starter. The entree was also shared and it was the Spicoli 2.0 Pizza. I cannot recommend this pie, enough. You will taste flavors that you've probably never experienced before with a pizza. Also, the different textures of the arugula, creaminess of the cheese, and the perfect crust will make it a memorable selection. For dessert, we shared the Buttermilk Panna Cotta. Each spoonful of those strawberries, dancing with the firm custard and glaze, made this a stupendous cap to the meal.

Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!

Big shout out to best waiter Rob and his GM Dreni!!!…read more I came here in my birthday, July 2nd. We had trouble navigating and were late, and they still seated us and were so kind. First of all, Rob is so much fun, an excellent waiter, and very willing to go the extra mile for you. When Rob spoke to Dreni, he was kind enough to make a special accommodation for my and his serious diet restriction (since it's difficult to split a meal with him.) we appreciated this so much, especially in a busy restaurant. Not only were these men awesome, but they food was amazing!!!! And the ambience is beautiful and fun. Overall, pretty standard fare Italian American food for an average price point in the neighborhood. The calamari in the seafood was slightly overcooked but it was plentiful with clams, mussels, and shrimp as well. Overall, the restaurant was busy at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and we were glad to be able to grab seats at the bar. I would go again if I were seeing a show in the neighborhood but not for the food itself.
