**UPDATE** These jerk-offs flip-flop on their stories and narratives, as readily as, they flip-flop on their management and staff. First, I explained my situation of wanting to switch to a different unit and person it would be rented to. This simply a straight-forward process, and a matter of paperwork. This would occur without my request anyhow, so what's the deal? And mentioned this other person I should be able to sign up and take advantage of a new client rate at $68 instead of $90. I expressed & explained this to their staff and she, in turn, did not follow through. I left a multitude of messages in the interim of 3-months. When someone did respond to me online, bear in mind they were only responding to my negative review. Additionally, laying it on extra-thick like they care or something when they don't give a shit. Of course, it's only for SHOW, this is the most pathetic and predatory company! The staff assured me they'd look into this, which they didn't. Other than offering me nothing whatsoever. Other than dragging their asses further. Having some sort of "nerve" to turn their bullshit tactics on me by blaming me instead, what a bunch of pathetic dishonest crooks! I mean to hurl such accusatory statements, so as I would not have any recourse or something. When they just simply did nothing at all beyond give me a sincere heartfelt run-around. The location at Rancho Cordova is really foul my mom passed away and I told them she died and I would pay her unit and I even paid over $500 on her unit which is at least 3 to 4 months rent then turn around and 2 months later they auctioned the unit with all my mom's heirlooms photo albums last will and testament and I told them not to auction it off and what do they do.... I would leave negative stars if I could read more

Really frustrated that they house homeless people at this location! I realize it's important to rent out units but not all business is good business. I have seen several units occupied by homeless but today was frustrating! There was 2 dogs and I couldn't even get out of my car because they charged at me! The dogs are unattended and the unit had no one there at that moment. I have left a message with management but not sure how important the safety of their renters is. read more

Had this storage for over a year. Went from 130$ to 150$ to 170$. They know you have stuff in storage so they take advantage of that and keep up charging you. Lots of homeless people walking around wondering even though there's a gate? Lots of people mess scattered all over the place that they don't care to throw away. I believe CubeSmart the business as a whole is a decent bargain for the price and amount of storage space. That being said, the particular office in Rancho Cordova on White Rock Road has to have the worst office crew in Sacramento in my opinion. My friend even filed sexual harassment against one of the employees for coming into their unit unannounced when they were changing. Maybe things have gotten better since then, I can only speak from my own experience. read more

I am beyond impressed with not only the management but the call-in customer service. I had a minor issue lastnight after hours, so I called the number and the issue was resolved quickly and painlessly. Today going in to drop off more stuff the manager, Shawn or Sean I hope I'm spelling it right, came out to apologize and explain the situation. Incredibly professional and appreciated, I can confidently say it has been the easiest experience for rental of a storage space I've had through the 5 times I've moved around the country. I recently had my boat stored at cubesmart in rancho cordova ca. I asked before storing, if there was any problems here at their facility and was told" no there was none". It took only one week for my stereo to be stolen. Nothing was seen on camera so what good are those. also there appeared to renters ( homeless or hoarders) at the facility from open to close. I just moved in about a month ago, so my interactions with this place are limited to my move in day. However, the guy that helped me was very helpful. I can't recall his name now (I knew I should have written this review earlier), but he was awesome! I've had storages on several occasions, and he's been by far the most helpful person I've ever interacted with in a storage office. He was quite busy and was the only one there when I came, but even so, I never felt rushed or pressured. The storage itself is comparable to the Public Storage down the street in price, but I like that they at least offer a truck to assist with moving in and out, whereas PS doesn't. I also like that their gate hours are an hour later than PS. I can still pay my rent online too, and they even give you the last couple days as a free move-out grace period if you give them enough notice, which is awesome! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place so far! read more
