They claim they have an outstanding customer support service which is far from true. By some miracle I stopped by the storage yesterday just before my flight out of the country, to find out that they are terminating all units WITHOUT any NOTIFICATIONS. This is gross and disturbing. I paid until October 24th, and was told to move my stuff out by the 18th. Again, WITHOUT any notice. They said they sent a paper letter to the address on file ( 21st century!!!). Why not send a pigeon??? I asked my tenants to check - no mail from them. The letter probably got lost, but I was joy able to receive it anyway. Which is why other companies use emails and phone calls! This is an extremely important matter, and I believe it was important to MAKE SURE your clients actually RECEIVED the notification. No email from them, no phone call, no notification in the app (just the ones about them charging me). The manager is just a joke - rude, ignorant and unprofessional. They hang up on me. Upd. I have sent you an email - no response Upd 2: so they simply sent me an email notice JUST NOW! Ridiculous . Shithole enterprise. My friend went there and spoke with a manager today, and he said that "the owners don't want him to tell anyone", and he was going out of his way to let people know. No notices anywhere at the premises: elevators, lobby etc. That all looks pretty sketchy, they are probably going to sell tenants' stuff at some auction, and I'm sure many people are still not aware. This place is for rich or homeless people that have nothing to do all day. Hours are frustratingly limited. Closing at 5p on a Saturday makes you have to plan your day around their schedule. I guess they go to church cause they close at 3p on Sunday. Closed on Holidays. Place is more expensive then a steak dinner in South Beach. read more

Unfortunately, this franchised location of Cubesmart doesn't have the proper security cameras to protect tenants from potential crimes, nor does it have the proper amount of personnel to provide security and administrative services for tenants should they need immediate service. As a former tenant of this particular location, I've witnessed a number of people being accosted and attacked, either physically or verbally by individuals who can only be described as homeless or derelict in appearance. This is a very big problem that has affected a number of individuals who have storage units in this location. These aforementioned problems have been mentioned to the management of this location, but nothing ever seems to change, either as actual commitment to installing proper security cameras or having an appropriate number of staff to ensure safety for all. In essence, this location is very unsafe, and if you should have a family with small children, I would reconsider bringing them here for the safety reasons that I just mentioned. I have also taken the time to contact Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and Better Business Bureau to articulate the safety issues that have not been resolved by Cubesmart. So, for your own safety, rent somewhere else. read more

Everything started out great with my storage locker. Then I got a letter in the mail dated 9/16 that I had a month to get my stuff out. I paid in full on time every month and had only been there for 3 months. Never when I signed up they mentioned they would be terminating the lease months later. Never got a phone call or email regarding getting kicked out of Cubesmart. I went in to talk to the girl there and she didn't seem to care. They offered no concierge service to help find another locker. Absolutely horrible and stressful experience- I do not recommend this facility. read more

I really disappointed on how this location has handled and treated their clients. Without notice they terminated the leases as they are doing renovations. Left no time to make other arrangements. The company prides itself on customer service however you can not reach anyone to assist. read more

If I could give a negative star I would do it!! This is worst place in costumer service and forget about speaking to the regional manager Nestor Alvarez he will never return your call if you have a problem with your unit or any of the employees that works there at cubesmart, been trying to reach the regional manager for the past three weeks and no answer at all read more

Initially, I had a good experience, sign up was easy (all online), facility was clean and easily accessible. Moved my items to storage in January 2021. Fast forward to two weeks ago (mid October) and I got a notice saying that my locker was terminated effective 10/18 for a notice dated 9/18 that was clearly not sent out until maybe a week or two before the termination date. The notice stated that they are doing a "number of repairs" and if I am not out of the locker by the termination date they will deem my property abandoned and dispose of it. It is a month to month contract and in the fine print anyone can terminate at any time, but to jam customers like that is ridiculous. I live out of state so this created a huge scramble and if another customer was/is traveling, they are totally screwed. They provided a contact number for the facility as the only contact point but after two messages no one got back to me. Finally, I emailed the support and someone got back to me. She was very nice, sympathetic, and apologetic, but clearly was overwhelmed by lots of calls from similarly agree customers. Apparently, the facility was sold and the new owners wanted to reconfigure all the storage units. They fired everyone who worked there and left this one person to clean up the mess. Feel bad for her. DO NOT TRUST THESE OWNERS OR STORE YOUR PROPERTY HERE, IF YOU DON'T LIKE GETTING SCREWED AND JAMMED BY YOUR STORAGE FACILITY! read more
