Sent a certified letter informing them of my intent to vacate unit (according to rental agreement) was delivered and signed by their agent on Aug 23. Got a bill two months later stating I owe them rental fee for Sept and Oct! Tried contacting them and emailing them without any response! This is an update! I received a very enthusiastic phone call message from Five Star Store It telling me that I don't have any balance left. I appreciate the company's efforts to resolve my problem. On top of that there were several large bugs on the floor of the unit. Of course I disputed the charges with the credit card company, but I did also call and email the facility repeatedly over a six week time period and heard nothing back. They still send me invoices (which include late fees) as if they never received any of my many phone calls and emails! On top of the poor customer service, it is poor management that they do not open up the unit for a paying customer!

Besides being more competitive with pricing, I immediately recognized the friendly let's do what it takes attitude Mark displayed. I was dealing with a local owner/ operator whom cared. I made several changes to my schedule and each time I was met with extreme flexibility and a can do attitude. I can't speak more highly nor recommend a better organization than Units. Each employee from the owner,sales GM/ driver were so awesome. Definitely will repeat when my next move happens (hopefully a long time from now)

The location is good, just off I-94 at the edge of Chelsea. Far enough away from Ann Arbor to have reasonable rates but easy to get to. The facility is good - enough room for major tractor-trailers to get right up to the storage- they have customized gate codes for 24/7 access, with lots of security cameras around the property. No signs of water leaks in any of the spaces I saw. I'm Very happy I chose Chelsea Self-Storage (but I'm still wondering why I have so much stuff!!)

I requested a vehicle for a sudden move I had to make and went with the local Attic Storage around…read morethe corner of my old place. The service here by Marius is AWESOME, he helped me with the van and all the things I needed but he added in a personal touch and helped me navigate and find a doctor to help with my family members sudden health issues. He called just to check in and worked with me as I needed the van for longer than expected. I couldnt imagine a better person to have met during this time in my life. He was also very professional and helped me figure out which things I'd need to make the move easier. The prices here are fair and I took out the extra coverage cuz credit cards don't cover rental equipment and the cost per day was very reasonable and just so easy to pick up and drop off and extend my rental. I'd recommend this place to anyone for their U-Haul needs and special shoutout to Marius he's a real gem of a guy and helped me with finding movers last minute and really just made a difficult situation easier and customer relationships are very important to me he's genuine, thoughtful and kind so I'd recommend this location to anyone as they go above and beyond in my recent experience.
