This gym is really growing on me. To put the following review in perspective, I work out 6 days a…read moreweek for 2 hours each day; and I've been a member of elite gyms throughout my life in Atlanta, Miami, and Houston. For me this gym is in a word 'sufficient'. It's not great, it's not terrible... but does the job. It has efficient use if space and offers an effective workout option in an area where there are not many options close by. For me it's about convenience. It's legit open 24 hours, and it's a 10min drive from home. It has just the bare minimum of what I need to have a great workout. I call the equipment here the 'struggle' equipment; everything works but there's like very minor issues with all the equipment (and often only one single option available for most equipment). For example, the stair steppers don't stop completely, the ellipticals don't incline to their full potential, most of the treadmills work most of the time, the cycle bikes don't have a working display to calculate miles or time but the other incline bikes seem to work fine, the long barbells are somewhat rusty on the ends but the hand weights are not, the Smith machines are a bit 'janky' (could be smoother) there is literally one single mobile workout bench, and the one box typically used for box jumps is flimsy (so is the big tire when standing on it for squats), the sand bag that is the weight I use leaks sand on my arms, the accessory equipment especially the rope pulls are old and a little decrepit but usable... everything seems to have been rejected from other gyms but found it's home here. The owner (really nice guy btw) seems to have piece-milled the equipment and adds stuff here and there (so it keeps getting better)...fixes stuff here and there if necessary. Even the front door in which you have to use your fob on to get in is a hit and miss every time... it's a little bit skill and a little bit luck to scan your door barcode to get in and hopefully someone nice is close by to let you in when it does not work (which can suck at 4am). But I do like that I can work out at 4am though, also the music is at least good music/ song selection and you could actually workout here without headphones. Also I do like that there is a stretch area/mat in the back, it's not typically many people back there when I'm there. And the bathroom, although there is only single bathroom for men and one for women... it has always been clean anytime I've used it and has tp. I also like the green patch area which people use for it's purpose and don't just stand on it. The free motion equipment in general is in good condition and there is enough variety to have most stuff I need but lacks some stuff I want, for example would love a glute bridge machine. Anyways, if there was perhaps a larger gym closer or a national brand gym in close proximity it would most certainly give this gym a run for it's money. Speaking of money, the monthly cost is a plus at only like $17 ...people in other reviews complaining about the membership fees have never apparently had to pay for a $75 monthly membership at Lifetime or $55 at La Fitness or $35 at 24 Hour Fitness. You get what you pay for and this gym gives you the bare minimum (no classes, no steam room or pool) for a good workout and i always get a good sweat and I'm glad it's here. Don't forget to wipe down the equipment and every surface you touch, the gym is clean but not sanitized to Covid standards or my OCD standards. At least the gym does offer a lot of spray bottles for sanitizing but do bring your own towel. One quirky thing I noticed here is that there is a car key rack right when you walk in and people actually hang their keys on it; and a open cubby area once you walk in that clearly states the gym is not responsible for stolen items and people still leave their stuff there! Guess I'm just not as trusting of humanity as others who frequent here LOL. Hope this helps. Update 2/25/22: Ask and you shall receive! In my original post just 8 days ago I said " there is enough variety to have most stuff I need but lacks some stuff I want, for example would love a glute bridge machine"... wouldn't you know I walked into gym this morning and voila a booty builder machine. Queue the angels singing! I don't know if a coincidence or bc I mentioned it but either way I'm happy and even updated my original 3 star rating to a 4. Also after nearly 2 months as a member I think I learned the trick to the front door: *use your foot to push it in making sure it is completely closed then use your barcoded fob... Works every time for me now!

What I loved about this gym when I tried it upon first moving to the area was the location,…read moreparking, and the fact that it was open 24 hours. It's a smaller and older gym but had everything you needed. There are no lockers and only one bathroom so that was a little deterring. It's an older Gym so the equipment is not state of art but you make do and nothing was broken when I was visiting.
